Perpetual Pics

Hey brotha that's a really nice little garden in there. I am so happy to hear the Purple Kush is still alive! :cheertwo: :volcano-smiley:

Some really high quality flowers in there bro keep up the good work!

And PS I Love that Red Rug! :) :circle-of-love:

Over 'N Out Brotha :passitleft:

Yeah, the red rug is actually vintage 196- nasty-ass carpet. It's coming out ASAP. Took some more pics. The Royal Purple Kush is still alive. Here's some pics of her prodiginey that are getting flushed, set to be chopped this week end.

CPU's giving me issues. First were the P.K, then BC GOD BUD, followed by HGK. Keep in mind, I'm over 6'-3" in stature, have abnormally large hands, and that is; as always a full size Bic lighter used for size reference.

Keep'em green. :420:

The Holy Grail Kushes, last two or three pics, are starting to look rather 'photogenic'. I hope CHH has the same phenotype as I do. Dank upon stank of a three fold high. First is mind, then body, and finally soul. First time my brother sampled some he tripped out. Swore it was laced with something. Nope, just good meds.

R.L, not sure if you have one or have a need, but I have a of couple new, never used PPM meters you are welcome to. Let me know.

I spent at least three hours last night working on the plants. Staking, defoliating, watering, feeding, flushing, examining every square millimeter for signs of mould or any other nasties.

Here's what I observed:

Plants seem to be pest and pathogen free.

None of my strains needed the week of veg with the exception of the BC God Bud. I have some that got it and ones that didn't. There's a marked difference.

Looks like I'll be bringing down around 14 ladies this weekend, all Purple Kush and God Bud. I'll give them one more final flush tomorrow and chop on Sat.

While the Holy Grail Kushes on the Osmocote Plus seem to be doing well in comparison to the ones using Botanicare Kind, the others I'm not sure. Looking back, I think I used the clones with the smallest root systems for the Osmocote experiment.

The osmocote plants are three weeks behind most of the others. One thing that I noticed last night that really intrigues me is the difference in smell. A Purple Kush on Osmocote (early/mid flowering stage) smells at least 20X stronger than the one's on Botanicare that are just about ready to be chopped. Odd indeed. I will definitely be comparing final results.

Can't seem to get my humidity below 60%. It's the time of year when it's nearly freezing at night and low 90's during the afternoon. There's a wood stove downstairs that I'll have to fire up before too long. That should surely help. I'm just not sure what more I can do in the mean time. The basement isn't damp, but I left a window open for a couple days thinking it would help with temps. It did, but bumped the humidity up.

WTF...I literally just got pan handled on my property. My 1/2 Husky, 1/2 Grey Wolf didn't care for that. Besides, I'm the wrong person to beg for money to.

Lost my train of thought. Humidity, I've been doing a lot of thinking about this. I was planning on buying a 4' x 8' Gorilla tent. Then I decided not to. I'll save that money for lights, paint, and larger ventilation and just utilize the entire room and probably still have money left over. It's approximately a 12' x 12' room. That's a lot of 2 Liters.

I had to wait to get more hgk seeds
ill order some soon they were unavailable for a short while
looks Great Josh :thumb:

I took down and manicured 9 of my 2 Liter Hempy gals Friday evening. 4 Bc God Bud and 5 Royal Purple Kush. I sure thunk I'd yield at least two zips apiece (each strain). Still amazes me how much medicine shrinks as it dries.

Did what I could in the time frame for pics.

Here's some RPK nugs:

Thanks guys. I'm in anticipation for the Holy Grail Kush. Now that's some dank sh--.

I forgot to mention what I discovered...So, I had four starts going in the aerocloner from Kerala Krush. One from each regular bean I have going. Well, when I was taking the clones I noticed the Keralas seemed to be wilting. I just went about my business and finished the cloning session. Well, two of the four straight up died. Almost like dampening off. I took them out of the machine, just hope the didn't contaminate all the others.

I've never seen that happen before. If I can't clone it then I won't make room for it in my veg tent. I was thinking, worst case scenario I could just flower out the mothers for a taste. But the other two clones are looking proper though they may be male.

I've had issues with cloners before as well, one time I didn't have enough water so not all spots get hit with mist. That's the big one. It's not needed but I dip mine in clonex or rooting powder and plug them in. If the powder has washed away within an hour you know it's getting misted. Some strains just don't want to be cloned tho. I have to take 4 clones of a blue og just to get 1-2 while the white widow x shark is 100% religiously. I once tried using a diluted tea only to find all the misters clogged by the next morning. Not recommended without a fine mesh strainer. Should have been a duh moment. Well anyway good luck with the cloner.

Yeah, I've read some strains, particularly Sativas, are very difficult to clone. The Kerala Krush is nearly 100% Sativa, so hey.

I've never had too many issues in the past with cloning. I use a Clone King 36 site aero cloner. My biggest problem in the past was mainly with cleaning between cloning rounds. I'd dismantle everything, soak it in a 25% bleach solution, scrub it, then hand wash it. Our rental house didn't have a dishwasher. I'm the proud owner of a Whirlpool Gold Series now. It has a "Sanitize" cycle that seems to do the trick, even with the neoprene pucks. I still soak everything in bleach though.

That old house was gross-no insulation, mold and mildew everywhere. I ran into difficulties during the summer months with the reservoir water getting too warm. Looking back I should have put a bottle of frozen water in there.

I run Medican's Blue Blood. I'm assuming that it is very similar to your Blue OG. Man, my Blue Blood is one of my strongest cloners-super fast and aggressive. I also use Clonex Gel.

One thing I've done that I have to say really has helped me is to add an air pump. Nothing fancy, but the largest aquarium model on the shelf at Wally World. I hooked it up to a couple itty-bitty air stones, also from Wally World. Other than the two Keralas I've had 100% success through the last four cycles.

I don't have a cycle timer so the pump is spraying constantly. I usually go three weeks so my roots are 3-6 times the size of the clone itself. I change the water three times in those three weeks. Seems to work. I have some Clonex Solution and some RezClear but am not sold on those products.

About all I know...:420:

Last night I took a good look at all the flowering girls. Still free of any nasties.

Tonight is going to be a big night. They all need to be watered which takes at least an hour. I see a little bit of amber coming through on the Holy Grail Kushs but there's also still some clear. I'm going to re-access tonight-most likely start flushing them.

I have a single Northern Lights x Skunk in there someplace that also should be about ready, just have to find her. The new clones are still 1.5-2 weeks out. I've decided, once these furthest along plants are done, I will ditch the tent and start utilizing the entire room. I may have enough lumber here to construct a drain-to-waste table. I could remove some of the concrete floor and put in a French Drain to facilitate this. I have one Mylar emergency blanket and some white paint. That should be enough to get me going.

Hopefully this will tame the humidity. I've been pricing new equipment, just no $$$ to make it happen. Short term it'd be cheaper to run 4-1000 Watt HPS. But I'd have to run some new circuits and that would really be a pain. For the time being I may just get another 600 Watt so I wouldn't over load anything.

I'm also considering going with a sealed room but need to do some more research on the subject. I'm not sure how the odor control is dealt with. So, it'll either be a mini-split A.C. or getting a dehumidifier. So many choices and decisions...The more I think about it the more I think about taking JJ Bones up on the grow room design. The little initial investment may save a lot of headaches down the road.

I'll try and upload some pictures while watering this evening.

:peace:

Congrats on your 9 chops Josh.
I'll be transplanting one of my babies from a solo cup to a 2 liter soda bottle this evening but I plan on vegging her out much longer. I've noticed the yields Lester gets with small rootbound pots after sufficient veg time & I haven't gotten such great results rushing into Bloom.

Last night I flushed the Holy Grail Kushes. I'll flush again Saturday evening then bring them down Sunday. I didn't count how many there are but there's also a few slower BC God Bud and Purple Kush. I took something like 46 pictures. Here they be.

I forgot to mention that the two other Kerala Krush clones died in the cloner. :rip: Weird...all the other clones have 2-3" roots. I guess it wasn't to be.

I have the four plants that were going to be Mothers in 4" pots with a soil less potting mix. I plan on flowering them out. Just not sure if I should transplant them in two liter Hempys. I think they may go crazy and get too big. Think I'll just go with the conventional pots. It's kid of a shame. I glad that they were free and I didn't pay for them.

I'm also debating on my BC God Bud. It has many attributes that I look for like fast rooting and flowering, very hearty strain. The buds have pretty good bag appeal. I just don't really care for the taste. It's reminiscent of a musky basement. The yields are also very sub par. I have a plant right now being flushed that's only about 6" tall. Sure, it is all bud, but I doubt it will yield 5 grams.

Yeah, it went straight into photoperiod with no veg time, but my other stains sometimes need to be staked by this stage. I'm trying to make the most efficient us of my space and financial constraints. BC God Bud is ruining my averages so I think she's going to go. Same may happen to my Northern Light Blue.

Holy Grail Kush, Blue Blood, Northern Lights x Skunk, and Purple Kush have permanent homes here. Critical and Skunk x Haze have yet to prove themselves. I really want to procure a The OG #18 bean. I'm hoping to order one in the next week or so. If I hurry I can get a, think it's from Delicious Seeds, a Super Silver Haze as a freebie. I don't think I've ever sampled that strain but I am curious to after seeing all the entries over the years in the forum contests.
:peace::thanks:
