Pennywise Does SOG Pheno Hunts Fall 2018

@Kismet I've been using 5ml Foliage Pro, 4 ml Pro Tekt, 5 ml Cal Mag, and to get it to 6.2 with my tap water, 3.5 ml pH Down. This is my first in Coco, and probably returning to Pro Mix for my next grow.

ProMix is great stuff!

Grew up in a greenhouse and we used a lot of Pro Mix, so when I began growing cannabis, I naturally gravitated towards it. Coco is extremely popular so I decided to give it a shot. I find that Cal Mag supplementation is a must with Coco whereas you don't necessarily have to add any, or maybe just a tiny bit, in Pro Mix (at least with the nutes I've been using). It's winter time and I'm not going outside to hydrate some Coco in the wheelbarrow. I'll just cut open a bag of Pro Mix and fill some pots. I also can get away with watering less frequently, although when I do it's in greater amounts. Just seems to fit my style better, or at least it's what I'm used to. I've seen awesome plants grown in just about every medium possible. Find what you like and stick with it.

Lol you answered my question before my question lmao !

Dueling posts. Maybe if I didn't ramble it would have been there before you asked...lol

Yea it's not my strong suit either, but the soil is missing something no doubt. The 6.5 ph should be spot on for magnesium uptake. Try tap water and see if they like it.
After seeing that soil hydro chart I need to lower my ph a bit more . I have been lately around 5.5-5.8 is goal for coco. As calcium I belive won’t uptake as well pass 5.8 they say ?

Agreed 420%

Water samples should be available for all municipal water supplies
I’m going to call or email today see if I can get a print out of what elements are in my towns two as well once I get info I will post results ✊

Around here you can get water tested for 10$ at local water department. Even if you are on a well and don't buy water from them. Just have to be a local resident
Water depot okay okay that could work too :Namaste::passitleft:

I ve been doing ph 5.8 my entire grow and it seems they love it. During veg you can be a bit lower the first days around 5.5 then increase as time goes by. The pH tends to raise in coco so it will slide up to the 6 range by itself. The grow medium has a tendency to go back to its original value. My coco is sold at pH 6.2 for example

As far as water you could mix it 50-50 and end up with about a 220 ppm with the added bonus of the micros in the tap or well water.
We were thinking the same way here bud Great minds think alike lol
