Currently we got 3 Blackwaters and 3 AC/DC's ready for an up pot. All the clones are doing really well.

All have great color and growth. I pulled some Harle-Tsu cuttings and did my usual passive wick clone method and 4 out of 4 rooted...

...but only 2 survived. That's fine, that will give me 8 for the 1st indoor run in a LONG time.

The Harle-Tsu's rooted way quicker than most. She is a great CBD strain.

Overall the Bonsai section has sprung back with regular waterings ;) ...

...AAAAND...the outbuilding purge is under way to make room for the indoor grows coming...

The old HPS will be removed and cataloged for potential future use, but that is doubtful.

The growing has been going smoothly. So smoothly that I hadn't had any signs of mites for a couple months. Well, I quit my weekly pest management foliar sprays and then it happened. The great mite attack of 2021. I wish I had grabbed pics of the real damage.

The plants just stopped shooting up and instead created these little pokey growth shoots. New leaves never grew larger than a 1/4" and were terribly yellow. The rest of the plant looked healthy when it happened. I was at a loss and chalked it up to losing everything. Not all bonsai mothers were affected, but enough that i figured I lost it all. The following pics are quite disturbing and not for the faint of heart.

The thought of losing my CBD's and my prized personal strain Mojito, was enough to crush my grow spirit. Here is what's left of the Mojito...

Screenshot_2021-06-03-06-38-33.png

Then I got back on my pest management and immediately they responded favorably in just a few days.

The new growth is coming great and they will recover. The solo cups are my HarleTsu (CBD) strain and the last pic is the Mojito bonsai mother. (Oy!) What a mess.

As scary as all that is, the clones taken a month or so ago are still chugging along and show no signs of mites.

These are more than ready for a transplant and they are wondering..."where is our new grow home"? This week will see me taking steps to get that up and running.

I hope the AC unit I have will keep up with the California Valley summer.

When things are going smoothly, NEVER ALTER WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

This concludes my public service announcement on mites and pest management.

We have mites constantly on the property due to rogue squirrels and random rats. Not to mention our chicken yard probably doesn't get dusted with diatomaceous enough.

No problem. I got a outdoor grow going on at the moment. Plus I also have 4 solo cups growing Indoors for about 2 weeks, before I transplant them Into 1 gallon pots outdoors. Just waiting for them to grow Into small plants before I do that. Eventually after the summer Is over, I will do an Indoor grow aswell! Going to prepare for that!

@ChronicTrees

Sorry for the late reply...

My updates are lacking and that may change soon..."MAY..." I fought off the mites. They were easily taken care of. They were due to not properly dusting our chicken area. One treatment of Neem and the plants bounced back.

Here are the current ladies destined for indoors. They got transplanted and not a moment too soon, at that. They started displaying root bound symptoms and they are loving their new geopots.

These pots are the true 7 gal. I never grunted so hard moving a fabric pot.

We got 3 AC/DC (CBD) & 2 BlackWater for the initial grow. The outbuilding is almost ready and I am going out today to get even further.

These plants are sitting outside while i further my progress. More updates to come as the room gets closer to being done. Not quite positive if I will get the grow completed, as we are contemplating a move out of state. California is just getting to be an unsafe place for our kids in the town that we are in. Who knows? I need to act like we aren't...so in case we don't, I am well on my way to harvesting more.

Went out with wifey today to garage sales. I become driven and get out the truck for a change. I am inexplicably pulled to a table and I am staring at a device. I don't know what it is but I know I need it.

$60 dehumidifier for $5; I'll take it! I actually wasn't going to get one, but lookey there.

Now I need to go play with the baby and the Brio train tracks we just got.

By the end of the day

These clones are in my ~6 yr old super soil receiving a little water every day and just got a hit of fish emulsion + molasses + liquid kelp.

When they got put in to flower they will get a guano top dressing.

All of the "slow release" nitrogen amendments (feather meal/neem meal) are still working well and the emulsion is more for the soil.

After this run I will top dress these pots and cover with compost. No compost tea has been used yet. ;)

I can't believe how busy my life is. So busy that these ladies are still on the back burner. There still is time as these are all still rather short after the training.

Yet the clock IS ticking... This weekend is going to find me knocking out the needed tasks to shore up the outbuilding in the wee hours of the AM to achieve successful relocation.

Still, all this is acting like we aren't moving out of state potentially...who knows. It could happen any time if we find the property we desire in...(can't say the state)...cuz uhh...yeah.

3 CBD (AC/DC) & 2 THC (Blackwater)

Jeez I want some Blackwater.

Mama-sita came through with some nice trays and a new watering can for this adventure.

(The long finger nails are for finger style guitar) :thumb:

I thought i could run 6 or even 9 plants under the NextLight Mega, but I am finding that 5 plants LST'd are sufficient to fill a 5×5. I won't even have that much free space.

Five in what size pots, Pat?

The passive wick style clone "no dome" is always a hit and you never have to mist.

Lightly packed vermiculite with holes drilled in the bottom of janky popsicle forms plus bottle caps in the bottom to push the form out in 1 chunk. Rinse roots in bowl of filtered water and plant. Keep lights low and indirect for a week or so.

Well, they never made it indoors.

Screenshot_20210810-182519-642.png

2 Blackwater top (back left) rest are AC/DC.

They are starting to flower.

The next round is ready for a transplant.
IMG_20210810_182946733_HDR.jpg

Next round has-
1) Mojito (BluCheez×Mango×BluWater)
2) BlackWater
3) LimeSkunk (CBD CompassionLime×Skunk)
4) SourSkunk (NYCDiesel×Skunk)

These clones need to be "weeded out" some. Judging by how much room the 5 I have going take up, that's pretty much the limit for an indoor run...(if that ever happens)
