Parfactworks HB 1500, Weed Seeds Express & Prescription Blend 3x Sponsored Grow - The Safari Pt I: A Vegetative Journey

Oooh Charlie I am sorry I missed this awesome chart at the end of pg 16!!! Thank you!! Is this research something that you do daily? Do you have a notebook just filled with all of this type of information??!!
I am always interested in new topics and a science geek a heart. The internet is a wonderful place for finding info. I just look around and dive-in to whatever peaks my interest.

Personally, I thought commercial growers would have a more uniform consensus in their technique, especially regarding basic things like humidity. I think it shows there there is a wide latitude of technique even on a topic as basic as humidity of a grow. Even though the survey is 5 y.o. it does indicate a "different strokes for different folks" kind of approach.

A good example is the "clone" humidity part of the survey - a wide range of opinion regarding the correct humidity conditions for cloning. Cloning is sometimes difficult, depending on the strain, and it shows a wide range of opinion regarding this topic. I think the survey clearly shows that growers take a more "whatever works best" approach to their individual grows. I thought it was interesting.

Those baby girls seem so eager to embrace life :welcome:little ones :cheer:
They came out fast!!!
Awww the girls are beautiful, and those @ParfactWorks light really seem to be having a gamechanging effect on them .....Wow :bravo:
Certainly did..especially for Bubs...really helped her a lot. They looked beautiful going into the flower tent

I like that about you and I encourage you to keep doing that. It will make you a wonderful grower

See I would have went in with the opposite approach, I know that even commercial grows are all done differently. Just like all chocolates are made a little different

The cloning is something I don't do often enough but like I said before, I like the seed to fruition every time....

"Non tutte le ciambelle riescono col buco"
"Not all donuts come out with a hole"

I thought of this saying tonight as I trimmed...thinking back and forth about about the early transplanting and the new LED light I am learning to use on my seedlings.

Things change in life, we learn to adapt. We make mistakes along the way. We learn from them. We take chances, we win and we lose. But just being able to do it all is pretty glorious.

This saying should be interpreted as such:

Things don't always turn out the way you intended them to or things may not go according to your norm all the time but fact of the matter is-a donut is delicious with or without a hole....

Who thought a hole-less donut would work and then the Italians gave us zeppoles....you just never know until you try!
I had not heard that phrase in a while.

Highly thinking about moving Goldie in some soil today. I think she is healthy enough now to get her going. The others took to it so well. Been waiting for those seconds to come in to see how they grew in and she's small but mighty...

Limelight...those seconds are getting long but not making their way up yet. My hope is that a third and healthy set will sprout soon and she will be on her way to growing up and out of this sad state she has been holding in....

The rest are going to start receiving their full seedling doses tonight before bed. I am seeing that the Gelato girls are especially ready for a bump. I've been running them on half strength up until now but mostly just purified water.

Have a great growing day everyone!

Thanks Nev. I usually use 6-60W full spectrum bulbs...trying to figure the LED system out cause I know it works....at least I learned that 25% is max for my seedling needs...I don't even want to admit it, but they were up to 75....idk what I was thinking...I learned...it's all good
Hey @Krissi1982 you live and you learn is a very vital tool to keep in the box, BTW who wants to go through life without learning sounds bleak and growth comes when you use what you've learned to make adjustments to being better. Keep at it you got this :headbanger:

They look amazing Krissi! Hope mine will follow suit!

Absolutely I think I commented several times myself on the same notion. We don't grow without mistakes. Even when I played soccer, we were killer but we made mistakes and we didn't win every game even though we had all the tools in front of us...you make accommodations, you better your game plan...

Onyx. Yes she’s the One! :cheer:
:thanks: Nev, she's the unique one in this bunch...I got her to stand out and she is already doing it....I'm super curious and awaiting her growth and especially to see her in flower :cheer:
They look amazing Krissi! Hope mine will follow suit!
:thanks:

You love them and ask for help whenever you see the slightest thing off, you are on :420:, you do your research. They will be fantastic!

That's a real Arrrgh moment and then you realize I have joints in the stash can't recall between what 2 boxes in the pantry if memory serves me I belive one was rice Krispy treats:rofl::rollit:
Ding ding ding!!! That and the Animal Crackers!

Shoot - wait until you see what I’ll be using for my fridge dry … cookie sheets, cookie cooling racks, and cookie sheet separators so I can stack them!
My wife's a baker and this hit home for me! She's giving me a rolling drying rack. I'm going to modify it for seedlings and clones.

Good morning!

Although I am always positive, I do have two issues today:

1. LIMELIGHT looks like she isn't doing much...not dead...but maybe in a coma..she's not well...I almost dropped another NYC Diesel in water last night...If she doesn't make it, shame on me for frying her and I am still debating throwing another seed of her on if she doesn't work out

20211114_095107~2.jpg

2. The radiant heat I have in the grow room is becoming a slight nuisance..by slight, I mean the humidity in my veg tent dropped to almost 28 this morning. It's causing such dry heat, I may need to add a humidifier. In the summer, I obviously didn't have this issue with the high humidity on my last couple grows. I added a cheesecloth covered water bowl and went back to basics-i turned off the blower. I'm allowing the humidity to rise and not escape. I had to do the opposite of this last grow in my 5 strain 3rd grow, the humidity was soaring to acid rain and I had to hook up the inline. Humidity is on the rise again so I'm OK with what transpired this morning so long as I caught it.

Alright...all the negative aside, Goldie is still pushing those leaves...she is still teeny. She's still growing and working it...I'm debating transferring her to soil based on how well the others responded....

She and the other 4 will be fine....

Also made delicious spinach, bacon and cheddar quiches this morning cause when I'm stressed, I cook, and I was running low...

That's all for now guys...

@Krissi1982 I rooting for Limelight to pull through and sending positive greenthumb vibes your way, remember perseverance shall get you thru a lot in this life :goodluck: it ain't over yet (L.O.X - Living On Xperince or Learning Off Xperince) either positive vibes

I love the sports analogies being an athlete myself. Learning and pushing yourself and doing what is uncomfortable is growth. I went from learning how to ride a motorcycle to racing at an expert level in 5 years. Now I'm trying to take growing with the same manner.

Btw, Limelight is looking real sad. I feel like she is going to be a loooonnng grow if you decide to keep pushing her.

Wish I could it's 2021 and all that trekkie stuff people watch and there Isa teleportation machine yet......Sheeesh :rollit:
I thought we talked about this. Bill and Ted did it from their phone booth.

Sooooo what do you suggest for preventing crayons on walls? A baby lattice? Lol I am not proactive with this other than stocking up on Magic Erasers. It's grow room time again again...:passitleft:

I had to ban Blippi from my TV. There was just something about him that just wasn't right. Kind of Pee-Wee Herman-ish. Although, a good friend of mine who is in TV editing, is working with his Blippi and his new shows now and he said he's a real normal down to earth guy. Go figure.

100% my brother

Just keep that same sports gumption and you got this...

Oh I know it....that's why I joked and said add 5 more weeks if she makes it...buuut....Bubs? Buuut...not giving up? Buuuut....she's still alive? Buuuut....it's a challenge? And lastly, I did this to her, it's only right if she's fighting the good fight, I keep fighting it with her :high-five:

 yea and fast forward 30 years and where is Mike Meyers? Last I saw him, he turned into a green ogre...they need to work out the glitches of that phone booth before I get my Italian ass in there
