Parfactworks HB 1500, Weed Seeds Express & Prescription Blend 3x Sponsored Grow - The Safari Pt I: A Vegetative Journey

No I don’t. It’s just a very modest and simple setup. I really don’t think I’d have room for an inside dehumidifier.
I’m hoping the outdoor r/h keeps dropping. It’s down to 78% today. It’s been extremely high the last week. That should also bring it down inside the tent. I hope.
Relying on Mother Nature for humidity control may risk a lot. Save up for a small dehumidifier. Run it modestly about 50% RH flowering room 55%-60% veg room. The room on the outside of your grow. Suck in that conditioned air to the tent interior. I will help moderate the spikes in humidity.

High RH during veg and early flower is not that much of a problem if you got good air flow, however, at mid-and-late flowering it could result in bud rot conditions for dense bud clusters. If you get that, you may as well bag up your stash and toss it. Plus, if you get those bud rot fungus spores lofted by air movement the entire tent has to be disinfected to prevent reinfection of the next crop. Word...ppm Charlie.

Did you just drop a mic?

Just water Nev...be cute though if it was;)

Lmao poor soul...God bless you and thank you :green_heart:
I use a large plastic syringe (minus needle) or turkey baster to water seedlings. You get good control of coverage and amounts applied. I stay away from wetting the leaves, except for misting in morn or evening. I worry about mold setting in with high humidity conditions seedlings need. With my old unsteadiness it helps.

It was from a spray bottle Charlie but I do thank you for your personal input on how you water. I usually use spray bottles the first week to feed then mist them after that. I use an old spray bottle to feed them at this stage, since the opening is really small, it allows me to not splash them or pour too much in on accident. I think I keep it hot enough in there that it dries up quickly if I got a little too much on accident. I can just see myself trying to put water in the syringe with my shaky hands lol ill be calling Noah to pick me up...
You ended your last comment with PPM Charlie out...seemed like you dropped the microphone after a rap contest lol

I actually use a cake/cookie decorator’s icing bottle/squirt bottle. It holds about 2 cups and lets me dribble (or gently squirt) water around the seedling. With a turkey baster I’d end up with water everywhere, and with a spray bottle I couldnt be sure they were getting enough.

The icing bottle is a good idea, also....another multipurpose item. Trial and error til you found that one??? Or hey, I wonder if...

Shoot - wait until you see what I’ll be using for my fridge dry … cookie sheets, cookie cooling racks, and cookie sheet separators so I can stack them!

Ok Paula Dean!!! I cook too much to have bud in my fridge...maybe a small investment in a mini...good idea though, I've seen that somewhere before-the cookie racks n stuff...it will work well for you for sure!

Is it the temperature control of the fridge or the control of humidy only or both. I have a small freezer that would work perfect, if I didn't have to turn it on. I can't imagine freezing your bud would be a good idea, would it?

It is absolutely both...you don't want your humidity down past say 52 or below, at least I wouldn't and you don't want it too high, say 65 and above...I try to be within 55-60 is ideal-for me. Temperature nothing above 70 and nothing below 40 for sure using the fridge method-on my hang dry I want it between 65 and 70 degrees for the drying girls ....freezer es no bueno signor....you get the buds frozen and then they thaw...yucky....I also don't know the science but I would imagine that cold of a temperature does has some negative catalyst impact on the breakdown of the terpenes and cannabanoids

Oooh Charlie I am sorry I missed this awesome chart at the end of pg 16!!! Thank you!! Is this research something that you do daily? Do you have a notebook just filled with all of this type of information??!!

My ladies!!!!

I can't believe it...Limelight's seconds are growing. Her coloring is not anywhere near good but is better. I really think she has a chance here to pull through-be it just add on 5 weeks to her grow time

At this point in a grow, I feel much smaller than a seed when I put my life into perspective. I think gardening centers us and calms us because it takes us down to the barest and simplest of things. When we are there, we realize just how miniscule our existence is and we grow faith in something much bigger than ourselves. For how an inanimate teeny seed knows to emerge from its shell, grow its roots down low to find food and shoot it's stalk up high to receive light is awfully humbling.
