Papay/Jungle Wreck and "living dead"

Papaya from Marie the rest of it. Not a big yielder but oh well...
My Papaya really dosn't smell to me like bud, it does a little when I cut through it but there is no stinky MJ smell that I was expecting. Was it my fault? They did live a short and tortured life, but it was all for the meds.

How long has it been curing? Looks super good, how does it smoke?
I think I cut her down the 17th and I have smoked like a pinky size bud that was a whole plant! LMFAO and it was a little harsh but tasteless and I loved the stone, my back hurts still but I don't mind it that much anymore... I play with my kids and do work around the house and enjoy my day, I put the little buds in a small spice shaker and I opened it a few times during the day, there is a smell of fresh green herb but not overwhelming. The smoke is getting more of a fresh hash hit taste. I need to do a proper smoke report when it is cured a little longer...
I agree with DT on this one. Looks like excellent smoke. Enjoy it while it lasts man!
Thanks
I take very small hits out of an aluminum can, Hey howcome theres no smilies smoking out of bud cans?

Maybe you cut it to early and didn't have time to finish the process but the buds look good:smokin::goodjob:

Regardless if the yield from the Papaya was small that still looks like some really tasty buds :) I thought you were joking when you referenced my plant in your first post on this page lol...then I saw the pics. At least you got something and it wasn't a complete waste, not to mention the experience! The other plants look good with the LST'ing, I highly suggest you get a pH meter ASAP though. I believe it has helped me keep my female happy because without it my pH would be all over the place if I couldn't measure it after adding nutes. But you are right my man, kids definitely come first...always good to see people with their priorities straight :)

Oh, and I dig the soy sauce bottle (I think that's what it is lol)...I love asian food, especially Thai! Spicier the better...and I finally have some habaneros growing on my single plant, not a big yield (10 peppers I think) but considering it's in far less than perfect growing conditions I'm happy lol. They go great on pizza...along with a jalapeno, tabasco, chile flakes, and maybe some uber-hot sauce :grinjoint: But I'm going off on a tangent...back to the topic!

I don't know if I pulled her too early, I was going by the cloudy in the triks, I am doing a little more veg. to my last two girls and set the scrog screen in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Lil N, I agree on the pH meter and I will need to hustle on it...
The Soy sauce and the kimshee are a must for the Chinese food. I need to grow some peppers too, that's a good idea.

Thanks for stopping in guys it's nice to have a few solid people that stand out when advice is needed.

They look pretty good to me And I will use soy on my next recipe LOL

That's why I love this Herb so much, you can do so many things with it as an ingredient:slide: Friends of mine, back in my single days, were pretty much hippies that had so much to talk about... one of them is now a bass player for a tribute band. He taught me how to make cupcakes and shroom tea...

Well, back to the journal... I Fed both of the girls half a gallon mix of grow big and big bloom, I still haven't gotten a ph tester cause I pissed the accountant off... I have however come up with a way to measure my ph of mix by letting the mix sit over night I can still use my ph color card, I have been using a 2 tsp. of growbig and 2 tbsp of big bloom in a gallon of my own well water that is very high on ph. like 7.6 which is the highest my color card goes to, so maybe it is higher? The ph is adjusting to 6.4 on the card and the last couple of feedings the run off has been 6.6 in Jungle wreck and 6.0 in Papaya.
I made a lil vid. to show the third day of SCROG.

looking good like the video :surf:
Thanks Tunes, You are doing a great job in both the soil and soil-less journals. Truly inspiring stuff man! Rock on...
You are doing great of watering your plant they are the right green color only if they start to go light green to much water but yours look great:goodjob:

Thanks sir, I was watering every 5 or 7 days. The past couple of weeks I have noticed that they are getting thicker and still nice and green, I do have a couple of CFL burns on some tips and also I think a couple have showed some sort of nute burn? I have noticed that some leafs stick together and perspire or something and maybe thats why I get some nute burn looking fingers. Not a big concern to me right now because I have not been feeding every time I water. I still am holding back on giving them the full dose.

On a bad note, I think I have found a job.... bad because I will have to leave my home and travel for 1 or 2 months, no! I'm not going Alaska deep sea fishing... I have been working off and on in the most southern part of the east coast, Thats right Key west, at the Navy base.
My girls are probably going to have to be untangled and put outside to finish or else they will most certainly die without my love...
I wish could take them with me:hmmmm:but the trip would kill them since I am on the Mass Ny and ct. borders.
So, what do you guys think? Can I get them outdoor ready in 2 weeks?

I think if you do it slowly you will not have a problem. Put them out a few hours and add more time each day until they are fully comfortable in there new home. Good luck with the plants and the new job. + rep on the new job.

I think it will be no problem but if you live in a place like southern California over 100 degree until mid sept. it's too soon I put two male outside for making seed and they are dying fast. Only in shade they will survive

The temps around here have been very nice and cool, this year there has been no good luck for the farmers, the soil stays damp too damp for some things like corn, and their has been lots of loss from disease and bugs. That is one reason the living dead died on me.

Maggie is now 16 inches and green, just trimmed the older fans that were dry and ugly and some lower growth on her and Elvira. I fead them yesterday with 32 oz. eack of 2 tsp. GB and 2 tbsp. of BB, I noticed this afternoon that I have 3 fingers with Nute burn again, I think it got splashed, I have been using the same dose for 3 feedings keeping it the same low dose I figured, just to keep them growing without getting into prob. again. I have been doing water inbetween the feeds.

I added some more 5600k bringing it to 14,000 lumens and left 1 2700k just because i had to fill that empty spot in the center. I did find a way to keep my girls in SCROG mode! I am still very sad that I won't be able to keep them or my fam. company. So I almost had them out from under the screen but I recruited someone very close to me. ;( even more now that he wants a cut!)

I am trying to decide if I should start flowering before I go. I will be coming back after a month to be with fam. for a weekend and back to work... I was wondering if I would be pushing it too long in veg. for 2 more months. :peace:
