It started raining last night and it's supposed to be overcast and rainy for the next two days. I'll be keeping an eye out for mold and fungus. :)
I removed a small puff of flower growing underneath from a previously cleaned up knot. 🤠 Was pleasantly surprised to find my fingers smelling of berries. The Headroom Incident plants smelled of berries, more than any other strain I've grown. :cheesygrinsmiley: The Panama smelled more of mint and weed. :hmmmm::) The outdoor PI smells strongly, but not of berries until it's rubbed a bit. :hmmmm::cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

Plant looks great!! If the moisture is too much blast the plant with a leaf blower!! It really helps. Just gotta be mindful of heavy floppy branches!! You're smashing it buddy!! 😎✌️

That's what I resorted to last year. :cheesygrinsmiley: I will probably break the leaf blower out once it stops raining.:hmmmm: It's still pretty warm which is a blessing. :)

Your PI is looking gorgeous. I like berries too.
Thanks Carmen, :) The rain has subsided so far today, but it's still overcast and no breeze.🙄 I may yet break out the leaf blower.:hmmmm: I'm excited about the berry smell too.:cheesygrinsmiley: Up until I noticed the berry smell, the plant was seemingly Panama only.:hmmmm: I will take pictures later, hopefully she will be perked up a bit and look a little less like a wet cat.:cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

The rain finished up overnight. :) We're supposed to continue to get showers mainly in the afternoons pretty often in the next few days. 🤠 I broke out he leaf blower and did a little plant drying before the sun hit them this morning. Many of the branches are no longer reaching skyward, but laying about on the screen. No storm damage to the plant, all limbs are unbroken.:cheesygrinsmiley: I found three very small caterpillars on a couple of buds. I looked for more but found no others.🙄:bong:

Pictures taken 9-21-24

Since the last post, the plant has endured a few rains, some quite hard. I found the plant laid out like a pancake on the screen.🙄 A few of the taller limbs were tied up vertical, particularly if they were laying on other stalks. :hmmmm: I've got pretty good separation, to get adequate air flow. :hmmmm:🤠 I've also blown them with the leaf blower twice more since the last post. 🙄:)

The plant is showing lots of damaged or just browning stigmas, however the flowers are fattening nicely filling the stalks. :) The buds are stinking more for sure and showing more trichomes. :cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

Just had a visit with the grandson that lives closest to us.:cheesygrinsmiley: He is also the one that really enjoys my buds.:cheesygrinsmiley: We spent lots of time burning flower, a bowl at a time.:) He likes to clear the bowls in one hit. I probably hit a bowl 8 or 9 times, just rotating it around, and then turning it over in the bowl, looking for another hit with green. 🙄 He left for home, with some of the wife's cooking, and some of my special produce. :cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

That's cuz nature pushed their buttons and now they are on high drive.

Your method sounds much like mine. I used to be able to hold my breath for diving for a minute or more. Now, little puffies are the answer. I quite enjoy the drawn out, protracted "one hitter".

They are still going good. :)

I'm in no hurry to finish the bowl, and was never a "kill the bowl"smoker. :hmmmm: I noticed he couldn't quite kill a Purple Ghost Candy bowl but he managed to empty the MAC bowl.
I pressed an ounce of MAC into rosin. :) The MAC is a good rosin maker, good yield.🤠 I wanted to show him how I make rosin. :)

I decided to support a few stalks vertically.:) In hopes that giving them more room will help with preventing mold and mildew.:hmmmm: It makes it a little easier to get a good look at the flowers too. Found another caterpillar and removed it.🙄

The plant just recently passed the threshold, of keep it or throw it away.:) The flowers, although not near ready, are ready enough that I would cut, dry, and cure it, instead of just tossing it away.:cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

It's supposed to start raining again today, and last for days.

Beautimus!!!! She gonna power house and fatten up woohoo you're in for a treat!!!! 🔥
Thanks Jiggi!:) I'm hoping so too. My grandson, who has a true appreciation for fine cannabis,🤠 was just here for a visit, said that's a big plant. :cheesygrinsmiley: He also shared in the Headroom Incident and Panama, so that added credence to his approval.

I'm hoping the plant has some of the characteristics of the Headroom Incident in the smoking.:hmmmm: The plant has more of a Panama look to it's structure. :hmmmm:🤠:bong:

Same here. Just one sunny day in the next week.
It's starting to look like extra rainy weather from mid-September onwards is the new normal around here.

Can you get an angled tarp over them to help keep them out of the rain a little?

I should go back and read because I’m wondering why anyone would ever want to keep rain away from plants?!?? If Pm even you would never want to keep rain away. Even outdoors let it rain and add a fan with a PM remedy such as citric acid - rain is never bad ever in my opinion…

It's overcast now and has rained off and on since last night.🙄 Not much to be done. 🙄 I look at the hourly forecast, and when it looks like it will be dry for a few hours, I'll hit her with the leaf blower and repeat until it's over. :hmmmm:🙄

I will buy one of those collapsible tarps with the open sides by next year.:hmmmm: I can open it up by myself and put it over the plant.:) I'll pre set stakes to tie it down when in use. :hmmmm:We used them at the National Park for events where a little shade was needed.:)
Can't wait to see her fatten up on the downhill run to the end!!! 😎✌️
Just gotta make it through the wet times until then. :)

Good morning Budnoob3.:) When the plant is in middle to late flower, they're more likely to get fungus as buds will hold water(like a sponge), more than a plant in veg. I hope you never experience the disappointment of having your biggest cola come apart in your hands, with disgusting darkness at it's core.🤠:bong:

And don’t forget the smell of 3 day old vomit!

Man it sucks!
