I got a question Dutchess?? Are all your problematic plants from clones? And are all your clones from the same place? Did you buy them? Chances are the worst plants are where they started? But then could be strains that are alot more resistance to them also,, which is worth noting. I do feel for ya,, they are nasty. I hear they are common down there, as common as spider mites in some places. As fast as they breed,, it woodn't take much to have a bad outbreak if some of the larger clone factories,, nothing against clone farmers, but if some did have acouple hidden hitch hikers on them, they wood spread fast. I think preventive is the only way to really deal with them. Figure your going to get them. It's easiest to kill them off on smaller vegetating less leafage plants. So when you get a chance,, with a clean slate, start seed for your crop,, no mites there,, and if you do bring in a cut from anywhere,,, even your best friend's,,, wash it well. Safer's Insecticidal Soapis a great wash. Spray the cut down and after 30 minutes wash with water. Acouple times like that and a cut should be safe to come inside. I mean you have to guard the door to your house or sure as shit,, it'll show up again inside and out. And when you start your next year crop,, plan on them. Like I say people do good with alot of oils,, but left up to me,, I'm going to keep with neem as a preventive spray. Tried and true stuff. Neem isn't the best thing to kill them with because it works by suffocating bugs. And with buds being alittle resistant to liquids,, you wood never really be able to get to the bugs in the center of them without coated everything you got with oil. So it's pretty important to get them gone as early as possible, and stop spraying as early too... Everytime you spray a oil, it leaves a film behind that takes awhile to wear off. And the more layers you do. I haven't done the legwork to see whats what in that green cleaner,, but if you get it on them it sure kills off at least 75-80% of them with each spraying. Alittle spray with the garden hose will wash off the dead ones so you can see where you are. Just don't rinse till the next night. I wonder if there is a systematic product out there that works, and dissipates from the plant. Nothing as harsh as Forbid or something. Stuff will kill a horse let alone little mites. I don't even know it that wood work on mites?
NP Stickyone.. Glad it worked.. Hell I couldn't figure it out when I started my first.. yea I looked at those,, same principal as the 2X4,, cept the board hold up half barrles and the board hold of at 3 inches with two levels.. But is a great idea for smaller smart type pots that need a fuller flooring underneath. I was thinking about pallets for the large smart pots... Thanks
