I would love to hang out with you guys out there, smoke a few tell some stories and enjoy the scenery. :)

Hopefully we will be in a place that will be fit for outdoor soon enough. Our own little patch with a barn full of wolfhound pups

Great work on canopy, I have to agree about TS, she looks very tight and vigorous. BTW UD #2 & #3 look like the same pheno to me.
 
I was reading where you can make your own Alcohol spray. It says 50-50 ratio. Im thinking not so strong. What do you think NCW? And my brother if you was to add an oil lets say peppermint or rosemary how much?? 10 drops per qt? And how much dish soap, 1/4 tsp per qt??
Ive done 3 green cleaner sprays outside and the last I added the dish soap and it ran better and killed more checking the plants the next day.
I want to make up a bottle but thought Id get your thoughts first. Great Sunday Wood!
 
Thanks peoples for dropping in,,, I mean that to all peoples. I tend to group all,,, keeps it abit easier for me,,, unless someone fires a question out..Dutchess there are alot of home remedies. I don't know if they work,, but that is an easy one to try so why not if you still have a problem. Just do a test tonight. take a smaller branch tape it for a marker and spray it. 50/50 sound strong... 25/75 sounds better for a test to see if it burns it. Pick a branch that has active mites on it. Drown the Mother Fuckers. Branches, everything till it runs off. You won't be able to do this later when flowers form,, if they make it. So whatever you spray do it heavy as you can. Bunch plants up so overspray works for ya if you can. But you got to get every inch of plant space with whatever. I don't know how bad you have them. They are ugly,, but if you kill them, they'll fall off. They sure seem to suck the life outta the flowering tips you should have out there. The tips of the leaf don't develop just die off.

The UD's are very similar. Very. I just did the once over.. UD#3 has more redden of the branch tips and is abit darker with a tad of purple in the leave stemage and thru the viens, and stocker tighter size. They won't get but afew inches taller I'm thinking. Which is perfect. I really didn't want any runaways. Con, they are happy,anso we'll let time show how she does...

I have enough going to deal with them. But I wonder how big that one Super Auto I killed off at 10 foot this spring, wood've gotten to? If I had put it out in the dirt.. That something I see in the Number One Auto I used for for that skyline pic,, is hemp. She's tall and straight as a ridge pole and spindly. For around 10 foot,, she's got nothing much to her. She's a 110 finishing auto,, on day 90. So is that Chaze.

That Tahoe Star,, she started outdoors and was a reacher,, enjoying my sunless spring. I had to damn near cut that one in half when she was 2' tall. Couple drop of elmyers glue in the hole in the stem. I've seen plenty of problems happen when you open them stems up to the wilds. Molds and bugs can get in. Even a piece of tape wrapped around it is better than leaving a major wound open. At first I thought she was going to run away. But she looks great now. I'm going something I don't like doing with her tho.. uppot while flowering. She needs 5 or 10 more gallons of room to do her thing. It's be a easy one a soon as she drys abit,, I just watered.. And I need soil.

Out is great and GL PMan. I just wish I could move my whole neighborhood somewhere else. Like southern-east Oregon,, they got the weather. Or Nor Cal. Portland's weather sucks. If you can choose where you are going to live,, and you want to grow outdoors locality is important..

Sorry, this is a rant I typed earlier. But even after rereading it,,, something I never do,, I got a big foot and might not be politically correct. Shit have I ever been. But I really bothers me about the history the USA is trying to rewrite... We just can't pick and chose what we think should be remembered. I'm no Skinhead,, or raving KKK member,, but I am a proud southern peckerwood boy. With alot of family that was raised south of the Mason Dixie Line and died there too. Tear down another statue from the civil war.. for what? Robert E Lee,,, I bow down to the man. Not that he fought for slaves,, I never owned a slave,, nor ever wood want too. But if we tear down that mans statue because he fought for the south, well his home,,, Virgina. As my family did, Arkansas, and they never owned slaves, well most didn't, why? But slavery was common at that time. Hell, even southern plantations had to go north to get the best prices.. Hell NYC was the biggest slave actions where and even wanted to leave the union and go prosouth. But like Trump said,, where is this going to stop??????????? We shouldn't rewrite history. Or whats next,,,, George Washington's mountents?? He had 317 slaves and was a trader. He left them to is wife who was supposed to free them at her death. Or Thomas Jefferson, another slave trader, like my GreatGrandfather was. Imagine if we ever forgot what Hitler did buy erasing history. We aren't trying to do that,, and shouldn't least we forget. What I hate,, is I say Hertigate, not Hate. I've told my kids all I can,, and I hope people realize this is the sum of the United States of Amerca. It had to be the worse war, imagine if one was from Mo. Or brother against brother. But all this news about removing statues really pisses me off. Next they will want my guns? Teehee! A typo for me!

So, I feel different about the icons.
Of course, history needs to be remembered, no doubt. Forgetting the past is so incredibly common in this world.
But...
There are many very valid arguments to made against maintaining monuments to the loosing leaders.

First and foremost, these are monuments to leaders on the loosing side. Ummm.... need I say any more here? Do we see statues devoted to other loosing leaders? Why do you think those tanks and soldiers ripped down Saddam Hussein's statue when they hit town? Seen any Hitler statues? Napoleon breaks that rule... but he had successes and failures.

Secondly.... are you aware of the origin of all these monuments? Do you realize the vast majority of them were built between the 1890s and 1950s, which matches up exactly with the era of Jim Crow segregation? Do you not see that as a racial message in monument form?

Thirdly.... it must be pointed out that these statues were funded mostly by one group... The Daughters of the Confederacy. What do you suppose their main agenda might be?

Bonus point..... Did you learn your history as a child by visiting statues? History is not the point of statues. We send a message thru the generations with these icons. That message is "We support these humans and their values.... they are a model for great men.". And then there's the larger message societal message we send to one specific group of our citizens.... "These ideas are still important to us... you best stay in line!"
I don't want to send those messages thru the ages.

Now... it's a free country run by votes. If you can come to different conclusions, then you absolutely should stay your path... but Tead would like to point to the above obvious issues and suggest that they might deserve further pondering on your part.

There are so many points counter points to this argument I'll have to wait till my brain functions again.. Could be never but your right about one thing it is a free country and majority rules in the vote. And they are coming down slowly, but I wonder when Mount Rushmore will come down. And as far as taking them down cus they lost,,, that could be a ruff one. You got the Indians lost bad and the Vietnam War we were pulled out without calling it a win? Is that a loss? And Korea,, Man we should've damn near whipe that half,, off the face of the earth, But people of my thinking are fewer and fewer, but us southern boys are used to being outnumbered... BTW I am a Member of Son's of the Confederacy. My dues go to preserve the Civil War Monuments. Least I hope they do..
But Tead thats whats great about here,, the diversity of peoples thinkings. Is mine right? I like to think so, are you wrong? I like to think so. Opps that kind of sounded the same... JK But GL and thanks Sticky One, We got our little cardboard flim glasses ready and waiting. Can you believe people doing conterfiet glasses and distributing them. For what reason? Lucky our neighbor had a extra pair. I don't think my carmera wood get a good picture,, but I have a friend going someplace around that has the best view and she has a Great Camera with the filters as all. She's going to get afew pics. Well it didn't get all that dark. Twilight. And it was cool that the sunlight started bright and blue summer day,, then it was like the lights got flipped to HPS. I mean it was so close but was just enough to keep the lights on to speak.. But it was pretty cool to watch. Temps dipped 4 or 5 degrees.
Sticky I hate to spraying anything when in flower. I know alot of people use just foliar for flowers. I hate the one time worm sprays unless I'm dealing with problems. Someone else wood know more on that subject. I know I tried afew along time back. Like Snow Storm Ultra and Purple Max.

I think it's safe to post them. They use to have a great product called bush masters till they pulled it from the market. Now it's for ornamentals only on the labels. Stuff is called Bush Load I think. Sure make some shorter, stocky, well stacked flowers.. Oh well. But someone will yell out or you'll find someone who steer ya right. The stuff must not have impressed me,, I still have a bottle out in the office.

It's a wide world with lots of humans sporting many different viewpoints. I'd like to think I can rise above it all and share a bowl... human moments seem much more important than these minor societal waves.

Sons of the Confederacy... card carrying member... and Tead starts the discussion. Typical. If there's a social pothole to be found, Tead will be the first to stomp in it.
 
There are no potholes here my friend... Well, there is and that's where I usually am. I have a tendency to ruffle feathers alot. Make life interesting, but history is my favorite subject. And I did enjoy digging up who died where and in what battles and where they ended up being buried. Sons of Confederate Veterans has been around 120 years and has 100's of youth camps across the country and take care of maintenance of the Statutes and Federal/State Civil War Parks and Cemeteries. They are real heavy into reenactment battles. We use to have a bus load of family that wood go to this reenactments. It's a trip to watch afew hundred black power rifles smoke up the air. Never guess if we wore Blue or Gray? JK And I love to do the metal detector thing for relics. All I ever found was mini balls galore and buttons on some lands that has secondary battles. You can't take relics from a State Historical Parks. But my family has abit of land close to Pea Ridge State Park. And was some good stuff found there. One of my Uncles was an actual battle flag. But it is interesting to see all who found in both World Wars, Civil and back all the way to the Revolutionary War. Was as far as I could find. One day I'm going to reopen an account to that Morman Thing. For some reason, they have better records that the Federal Government on family history. Thank god for spell check, or none wood be able to read my chicken scratch.

Motherfucker where do I begin! What subject matter.
I did research Woody and I came up with this.....91% alcohol 10oz per gal. Oil and soap unsure but would guess 1oz of peppermint/rosemary, 5ml dish soap per gal.
Heres another I found..... 91% alcohol 10ml, Canola oil 15ml, scented oil 10 ml per 48oz.
Heres the different oils..... peppermint, rosemary, chrysanthemum, cinnamon, eucalyptus.
I like the Canola oil method. I saw one recipe just used the Canola oil and dish soap.
Im getting some squirt bottles made up and testing.
Im thinking Ive had russet mite problems every yard grow and just noticed this year. Some years are worse than others and so are different strains.
I just orderd some Dr Bonners also.

I got much to say about race issues. If I would of known calif was going to turn into mexico I would of taken spanish as a second language in school. taco stands everywhere and no habla englisho! Come one come all but come legal! I say this with a mexican sister and gangbanging northeno nephews.

The Irish escaping the famine left it shitty and came to even more shitty. Some were indentured servants but actual slaves I dont think so. They were hated by all, even the Irish already here. I had an a native American chick tell me the Irish were the only ones to share their liquor. The Irish from the potato famine had it rough.

How about this for luck. The Asian growing next door that got shut down sold the house to dope dealers looks like cause a cracked out chick shows up around noon every day. It looks like more than weed is going on next door. Irish fucking luck. The neighbor before the Asian was a gang banging black dude from oak park that couldent of been a better neighbor. Never robbed me and mowed my front yard without asking when I was in Hawaii. Cant judge a book by its cover!! Dont assume. Fuck I hope these new people are ok. I walked over and introduced myself and said welcome to the neighborhood. Dude said his name is Lucky I told him mines just the opposite! When the timings right im going to ask him whats going on over there cause the blonde chick looks like shit. Oh well.
