Hey Pop's I cheated and got lucky. Last page I caught here was a updated one with pictures I could read. Man NYCD looks great. Drool. Way Cool. And the babies, well they look short fat and bushy. Everything one needs in young plant. I sure see alot of tops coming out there Pop's. Hey one day, grow out a extra good indica and try topping after the second set of leaves. Then you'll be starting your plant with two main stems. Hey looks like you got it down pat tho. Plants look like they are loving life over there.
I've been looking into getting some or that airpots smaller designs. They have a 1 gallon round called the root maker pot. Makes me think it wood be a great pot for starting plants in. I been price checking, and prices are resonable at acouple bucks apiece, but the S&H is the bad news.
I seen someone talking about the sun cycle you got there. Them 12/12 days. He was talking about vegging till big then put them out for trees. You can also control the start of the flower cycle bye interupting the nite cycle with 15 minutes of white lite for about 15-20 minutes, after about 5-6 hours into the night cycle. That way you can veg as long as needed in them 12/12 outside days. Makes it hard to grow a larger plant over there. You put your plant out and it starts to flower as soon as it becomes a adult. I think that's a perfect HSP light bulb you'all got over there in Hawaii.

Your right! The small airpots are great for starting plants in. Things grow fast in them too. Thanks about the light cycle thing....sounds good. I try it out.

This was a fireworks controlled 4th here by the state. Too many fires and injured folks the last few years So only fireworks that were done by pros was allowed. The Marine Base had a Fireworks show and an Air Show.

We wont need too good of a drill....lava rock is easy to go through!

Hey OMM, just wanted to say hey. It's going to be another hot one for the next few days. The sprouts are loving it, gonna update pics on my journal later if it doesn't get too hot. Tested out my hookah I bought a few months ago. Never used one before but when I hit it, it was kinda harsh. I know it's not suppose to be like that but the smoke is not the greatest. It gives a nice high but the taste isn't the greatest. And friendly neighborhood connect let's just say is being a bit stingy and not showing the love.

Hey back Queen ! I saw that on the weather channel, doesn't look good for you. I have never liked hookahs. Smoked a few in Greece....kinda like you described pretty harsh. To bad about the connect. That doesn't help. THsea and I did about 5 hours of testing today....had to go get some munches!

I have done research on the lava rock. If we place a pound of salt per 4 feet of digging. We can control the weed bunker to have a humidity of 62%. Nothing like controlling nature!! LoL!!

thats funny I love to watch fireworks but my wife says I'am like chickens in the coup, I wake up at first light and go to bed when it gets dark. so I haven't seen a new year start or fireworks in years. unless I'am camping I'am gone when it gets dark lol

I really love them - they are so versatile and you'd be amazed at how long you can keep them in those if you're careful and do it right. The only problem is that once you have any size to the plant they need watering daily. And, at least with coco, I don't cut them with perlite or anything because they'd dry too fast. They're especially great for freshly rooted cuttings or seedlings. Best I've seen anyway!

I really love them - they are so versatile and you'd be amazed at how long you can keep them in those if you're careful and do it right. I had a really healthy deadhead og mom in one with a stem as big around as the fat part of your thumb and a dozen or more tops. The roots just fill the media so much better and never circle. The only problem is that once you have any size to the plant they need watering daily. And, at least with coco, I don't cut them with perlite or anything because they'd dry too fast. They're especially great for freshly rooted cuttings or seedlings. Best I've seen anyway!

Hey X, I had some topped plants that were well over 2 ft tall in those little Air-Cells on my last grow...like you said, it was all I could do to keep them from wilting with 2+ waterings a day! I broke down and transplanted them into 3 liter Air-Pots halfway through flower...but I'm convinced they would have finished fine if I had had a drip system! The really nice part with using them for seedlings or young clones is that if something happens to screw up your transplant schedule you don't have to worry about the plants getting root bound even one little bit...and when you do move them into a bigger pot they immediately take off!

Cool, thanks for sharing that! I agree with absolutely every part of your post. Those things rock! I'm finding I only want to keep a couple of moms long term (in addition to a couple of my own crosses) so I'll probably do fewer plants with the slightly larger 3 liter going forward, but I'll always have something or things in the 1 liters cuz they're so damned handy..

Hi fish cake..........I think I'll join you in the veg room....not quite full speed myself. You can tell by my non-posting for a few days. Dr. appointments are wearing me out. A few more next week..more lung cleanings coming up. Should be back to normal then.

Next couple of weeks, you'll see a few changes around here and I 'll be back to full on journaling again. Need a bit of Sativa Myself.
