OMM's Social Network Grow Part 2

They are the same...i didn't know they were born brown...

Could be a female. It is interesting how the male birds are much more colorful.

Hi invi :welcome:

What a beautiful bird. It remembers, believe me. It's saying "Hello". They are so much smarter than we think.:cheertwo:

Thanks!
And yes, they are just as smart as any crow! They are so smart, if any other anymal spots them while accessing their hidden stash, they go away, and as soon as the place is clear they move all their stuff to another place where its safe :)

I think Jaybirds and Blue Jays are same? fish cake would know.:surf:

Mine is the european color variant i think. Blue jays are even more beautiful. This one stays like this when grown up. They inhabit the whole globe, there are asian, american and eu variants for sure, maybe more..

Sorry i thought i said hi in the previous thread - but maybe that never happened, cant find my post..
So for that case Hello!!!
I was reading the thread a lot, might be i just wanted to post many times, but never did - really like it.
I just couldn't resist the jay thing..

HI C F ! That seems to be the case for most birds, however,
The South American Cardinals look just alike and so do the SA Javas. Must be SA thing.
:high-five:

That's just too cool! :thumb:

More thoughts on watering. What is the outside RH normally? here it is humid and it helps, if it is dry air you cycle in well...

Also you are using those fancy air pots. They do two things that draw more water, first they are full of holes designed to dry out and second this drying out forces more root growth that pulls more water.

well I can tell you all that the young bird is not a Red wing black bird! rotten rasamtasam crumby%%$#@ little &$@# LOL

High Buckshot. I think you have something there, the RH outside the tent is 34%. So Low H both places. Maybe I should sit a few open gallons of water in there. That should help. Whatcha think?

Awe. Rasamatasam Crumby! I like to sprinkle a few hash crumbs on then..........Bona Petit!

That sounds like a great idea OMM! Now I am thinking about poking a few holes on my soft sided pots so they dry faster!!

NO! :yikes: it is awesome to have such low humidity during bud. They will be far less likely to get bud rot or any other kinds of molds with that nice air. What I would suggest is try a solid plastic pot on your next run or better yet get a pot just a tad larger than your air pot and transplant one and see how it goes. I am also using Happy Frog and last I knew you could not get it so what is the soil mix? surely that will have a huge impact on water.

I think there is something wrong with that idea Buddy. Maybe make the holes lower on the pots, that will let them will dry upward..or something like that. Still thinking one that over! :hmmmm:

OK! Scrap the open gallon pots of water. Of course you are right!

THsea and I have already thought about solid pots for the next go. Makes more sense now that things have changed. :high-five:

I have never been a fan of transplanting while in flower. Hermes come to mind. In my experience.:smokin2::smokin2:

Everything except the 2 Mei-Bomb 1s is in Happy grog. Those two are in Black Gold. maybe that is another reason they need water so much.

I just went there..best DIY i've seen..and the updates are out of sight..he's going to make somebody a lot of money..sorry about the late post..un-focused...
I was just there too. Wow!! What a set up. 2 pounds a month!!

Hey there buddy. Have you thought about the soft sided cloth pots. I think they are real easy to work with. They sell off brand ones at the hydro store that work just as good as the brand name ones. And they are less than 3 dollars each. I was just kidding about poking holes in the sides! LoL! They do get more oxygen than regular pots but they don't dry out as fast as the air pots.
:circle-of-love:

I agree 420% miwa I like having the oxygen be able to interact directly with the roots and I personally feel it improves the drainage of the pot. I used a drill, did the same on the rim for LST.

:peace:

Hey OMM,
Ive read almost all of your journals , it is like I said in the other thread I took a break for awhile but have skimmed thru this journal.
I followed your exploits while in the military and Greece. But I remember seeing your early lighting and electrical set-up IT WAS scary brother but you have sure made great strides. I still like my air pots even tho they are a bit pricey but I just recently saw the warrior pots, I'm sure that you have seen them............. interesting and same concept. The guy I talked to preferred them over air pots but he uses the coco coir , so ...makes sense.
Zowie this journal got a little political ............... I will not vote until Jesse (the body) Ventura runs
I'm sorry if you have already done this but you have had a lot strains......would you name your 3 or 4 favs for bud density and smoking pleasure Please ? recently my favs have been Northern lights Blue, Chocolope was real good, Shark attack, and Hawaiian Snow was a finicky sativa but kicked my ass.
I mentioned somewhere else that my clones (taken from plants 2 weeks in bloom) really have strange leaf formations and from my research everyone said it takes awhile for them to revert back to veg but wierd leaves ...have you experienced this ?
