Good job getting your first grow off the ground!
I know that I'm in a completely different environment, but I water mine everyday, with tap water. And they seem to love it. Maybe outdoor plants are more resilient to things like that.
I'm looking forward to seeing how your grow turns out! I'm thinking about doing almost the exact same set up. I want to keep the electricity down, so I would like to go with CFLs too.

Hey thanks Ms. chump stain
If you do a grow like this make sure to have more hight than I do. They just came out of their 24 hours of sleep before flowering. The jumped an inch and a half in the darkness. I'm thinking of adding about 21" more to the box. Trying to think how to do it the easiest way.
My greedy self should have only grown two girls not four, it's going to get really crowded in there.
Truthfully, I really like the CFLs, you can move them anywhere they are needed and not burn your babies.

Yeah we don't have a lot of space, so I think we're going to go with 2 plants. And I'll probably tie them down, that seems to work well. I would really like to do it with CFLs just for the energy reasons. Thinking of growing something that will do well indoors. I saw a some Northern Lights x Big Bud seeds that I think will give us a nice yeild for indoors.

howsit !!!! those are nice.. beautiful girls. nice deep ass grooves in those leave they look soo nice man you got a green thumb looks like. we were at the pacific island festival all weekend with the family down in san diego. my wife is chamorra and thier family was out in full effect. we had the main tree it was sick. made me miss the island though. comin home soon bra. food broke the mouth miss that shi man. anyways reps again if itll let me

Your choice of seeds is perfect. You should get a good yield with them, That's exactly why I chose Blackjack and Aurora Indica. Both are good med strains. Aurora is a Afghan and Northern Lights hybrid.
With only 2 plants growing you'll be able to do serious bondage on them.
I can't say enough about CFLs. They may take a little bit longer to grow a crop, but the savings are there.

I really just skimmed thru to catch up and I didn't catch the strains, hope everything goes smoothly and take care man and I'll be checking ya out.

Ribs are still sore but our meds, take care of it. lol
I found another outlet in the laundry room and have hooked up everything to it. The Grow Box lights and fans are the only thing connected to the breaker that was popping all the time. All is good now. Thank the electrical gods.
Nothing but Indica. Blackjack and an Afghan cross with Norther lights.
Thanks for looking in. It's hard to keep up with all these grows that are going on right now. Great ain't it?
Yeah, I have to say that I dig all the bigger grows but its the small ones like yours that I can learn from or have learned from the most. Tunes journal and Perico were a few that I started off with and have had much valuable info. from those. I miss Pericodaking, oh well I just hope he is doing great things. Keep on man and those strains sound terrific.

Truthfully, I like the small ones too. What happened to Pericodaking? He just disappeared. Hope he's OK. There was a new journal started tonight and people we're helping him to death. LOL We all mean well and want the best for our small growers.
