Hi Mmmmich They are hard as rocks my friend.
I dried them differently this time. I usually hang em in boxes and the they dry too much, like fall apart in your hand.
I got a big old brown paper bag and dumped them in. I punched some very small holes around the bottom of the bag and for the last few days I have been shaking them like crazy. Two are three times a day I let a fan blow into the bag for a about an hour each time. Anytime I got close to them I shook the hell out of them. Last night I picked them up to shake them and realized most of the weight was gone. I removed 99% of all the stems and that left nothing but buds to dry. As I burp them I think I may lose a bit more weight, that remains to be seen. I was kind taken back they only filled one bowl and not stacked high. When I saw the weight Holy Shit , so I weighed them a few more times to be sure. Stunned!
I checked the other girls today and they are getting there. Actually I think the Kandy Kush will be the next to finish. I drool over her big ass self. Her buds are not soft either! In fact all these plants have hard buds. The Gravity I am giving them them (only with four feeding total with moalasses) with each watering. Papa Green suggested that I use it and it sure seems to work. It should, damn stuff cost $29.95 for an 8 oz bottle.

This got me thinking...so I took them out of their jars and weighed them and they had lost a gram of weight. So burping will finish the job.
They sound perfect OMM, once they get the cure on they'll be so flavorful. I've read about the paper bag method of drying and it seems like it might give a little more control. I wouldn't toss them around too much tho, don't want to leave too many trics in the bags, they work better on the buds, lol.
I don't think you'll lose much weight during the cure, but lots of burping is important with dense nugs. Must smell just awesome every time, heheh.
KK looks like she's got some solid colas, but it's so hard to pick a favorite. The GWS looks fatter but not as long, what a tough problem to have.
The Gravity sounds like it's well worth using, I'm planning on some kind of bloom booster when I get to that stage also. Haven't used molasses yet this grow but once in flower and the buds are set I'll start with the mo.

I'm going to try my version of smart bags this time around. Woven poly shopping bags that hold about 3 1/2 gallons of soil. no drain holes needed and lots of air available at all points. 99 cents each. If they'll actually stand up and stay in place they might work out. I would credit the originator of the idea but I saw it months ago and I don't remember which journal. My new RO system chewed up my grow budget for a couple of months so I can't justify any more expense this round or I'd most likely have airpots on the way already, lol.
