OldMedman Goes Indoors

Hey Oldmedman
If it wasn't for us old med men there would be no young med men.
I have tried the air pots FANTASTIC ! they are expensive but i haven't found anything about this hobby that isn't. The cloth pots (coffee filters) are good, hard to handle and get mold on sides but .....the right concept. Just my observations. :peace:

Looks great too! Speaking of spending time in the jungle - that's quite the jungle right there. Don't start a fire or the whole island is going to get high! ;)

Speaking of fires......:grinjoint:

When Jo and I got back from the Doctors, we both hit the bed to rest. I slept for an hour and woke up. Not my usual thing, I sleep allot and I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up. When I came down here to the grow room it was 92.5 degrees...the circuit breaker had popped. Fixed that in a hurry.
Now I'm getting messages from the girls in my sleep! :yahoo:

By the way, the island could use a good high! :thumb:

Wow, that is looking awesome. There are more flowers sites then you can count. Only a dream for me so far :)

Hi there Dutch! :)

This is surprising to me too! :high-five:

You'll be there one day too. Love the Avatar. :bravo:

Love the way you think. :circle-of-love:

Glad you joined 420.....I think you will like it around here. :peace:

Love the Airpots too. Not too expensive...since you can use them forever.

Coffee filters cracked me up. :yahoo:

Don't be a stranger...come back anytime. :thanks:

Hey OMM,

Wow. That's one hell of a jungle you got growing. If I could have "liked" that latest picture post more than once I would have clicked that little button 3 or 4 times more.

Great job on the indoor grow.

I'll say again...WOW :adore:

So glad you and Jo are getting some rest...sounds like it's been much needed.

J

Hi Oldmedman,
I too am a survivor of the 60's, If I remember correctly.
The air pots are great! I like them better than the coffee filter bags. But I am just beginning . The air pots are expensive but every thing about this hobby is. It is all a matter of preference.
:allgood:

Well, Thanks sqwheels. :high-five:
It is a jungle....and out of control really. Since it is my first indoor....I'm learning as I go. #1 thing is to control my plants better. LST, cropping, will be done better in the future! But I'm still loving it.
Yep, Jo and I needed the rest. What a pair we are. :)

You got it Buddy! :)
It is an expensive hobby if you really get into it. I was going to do it cheap when I first started...so much for that. :high-five:
Like you, what I remember of the sixties was it was great time to be alive.
If you need any help, let me know. :peace:

This first tent grow has taught me to think before I put them in, got to do some LST and more cropping next time, and smaller pots. Then on the other hand...I want to put more in there! Crazy! :yahoo:

Sorry all, I could not resist this one! :cheertwo:

After their 11th child, an West Virginia couple decided that was enough,
as they could not afford a larger bed.

So the husband went to his veterinarian and told him that he and his
cousin didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him that there was a procedure called a vasectomy that
could fix the problem but that it was expensive. 'A less costly
alternative,' said the doctor, 'is to go home, get a cherry bomb,
(fireworks are legal in West Virginia) light it, put it in a beer can (COORS),
then, hold the can up to your ear and count to 10.'

The West Virginian said to the doctor, 'I may not be the smartest tool in the
shed, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my
ear is going to help me.'

'Trust me,' said the doctor.

So the man went home, lit a cherry bomb and put it in a beer can.

He held the can up to his ear and began to count!

'1'
'2'
'3'
'4'
'5'

( you'll love this...)

At which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs and
continued counting on his other hand.

This procedure also works in Tennessee , Kentucky , Louisiana , Arkansas , Mississippi,
Parts of Georgia, Missouri, Alabama, and , all of Washington DC
