Yeah - like is it just me is there a touch of sombrero about the boss guy’s hat (I want to make clear they are the best AC guys across three countries I’ve used, and cheap!) and also its not the same guy as yesterday!

Currently feeding. The 3rd gas pipe can wait. Put 5.9 in because that’s what it was. More often left over night it pops to 6.2 or 6.1 and I go down. A bit rushed and figured close enough, especially with these weird out numbers. EC looks in the 3+
They all look if possible better than - couple pf hours ago.

My thoughts on the Ph
My thinking is thus:
We changed to nutes clearly marked as for Hydro/Coco (from those marked as for Soil)
They unlike before prefer a bit of Ph’ing in. They say like 5.6-6.2 or something. We ran them a little high at 6.5 or something same as the soil ones they didn’t like it to start.
We did some wild Ph swings which fixed that.
Now we’re running wild numbers in quantity and EC (ppm less a measurement for us now, honestly we got some wild numbers before these seem lower)
The Alkalines are all being sucked out of the feed because the greedy wenches are drinking as much as they can out of the mix high on gas.
The high EC OUT probably salt run offs.
PPM - just what the mix is, maybe just bits of coco in the OUT mix balancing the reading from the IN and that’s Ok.
Long story short!
I’m happy to believe that theory as long as they look as good as they do! But see what morning brings!

Yeah this is my standard first view of any of a number of times a day I check! Today honestly I don’t think I’ve checked plants in flower so many many times in flower.
The photo can’t be bothered to check but either with flash or an iPhone low light photo. Closet to the eye after lights out.
Tall one nice colour. Think GG. Droopy because no lights. Its like 166cm plant as at my eyeball level, less 14cm irrigation tray and 24cm pot (medium shrinkage) so 128cm or about 5’2” - AKA one Thai & Co Standard Unit of Height.
I know that plant is 166cm gross in cm because I’m 178cm according to my drivers licences (plural) and middle of my eyeball is 12cm from the top of my head roughly, ai did try to measure. But 12cm roughly (because I measured with a book and yeah, let not go there… ai didn’t need to bother measuring the distance between my eyeballs and the top of my head to get a plant height reference.
(Reckon its mode average, above mean and happily upper middle class)
But yeah. Never been so happy with a days grow to be honest.

& Co sold the last of the last grow. Like left me with just two lousy joints. Like I have a single nug leftshe doesn’t know about and she sells the lot but like serious! I’m not paying for…

Quiet ish morning with these today. Driving home last night wow. I’ll put the last 18 hours of driving stuff where it belongs. But my daughter told me off for my language but did it like perfectly, English accent when she told me not to say what I said. There was a pause because it was legit 3 near accidents in maybe 100 yards on a a small road, then like after the pause three of us laughing as I say sorry and she asks
“And Papa I’m checking you put your shirt in the basket when we get home as well”
She slept in the middle last night (its an Asian thing) and didn’t kick me in the face whilst cuddling & Co like usual. Which was nice. Forgiven it seems.
Light didn’t come on again and Dehumidifier tripped. Fixed the light (The Kid was at school so using those same words is fine) we don’t even need that stupid connector. Just new cable end to end. Its booked for Saturday.
The dehumidifier I’m playing with the sensor location. I think it needs calibration. But also the error its putting out I have another idea related to the overall air circulation. I really need that done because harvest for some is closer than perhaps thought. Its 8-9 week range for flower across the strains - 56-63 days. There’s some variance across sites on which are which.
If I’m harvesting some on Day 49 I wouldn't be surprised. That’s a touch over two weeks. The OG Kush look like they’d smoke pretty well today! Frosty and orange tints. The mental gorilla glue reference plant is now above my eyes tall overnight. Its much whiter. The photo's un adjusted for colour but yeah deep rich green apart from that corner (differences between strains too but honestly look great!)

So one of my top 3 movies is Heat. Pacino and De Niro share this scene in a roadside diner following not a car chase but a car follow. Cop - Top End thief. Its cool and the song I often listen to while making my awful drive each day.
There’s a book out sort of sequel/prequel, written by the Director and my favourite line pops up there too.
Fed the plants 5.8 today. Ph’d it down from 6.1. Just running the tank out today. 75L maybe? Can't use it all.
5.8 In at 3.1 and 1800ppm
4.x out at 1.8 - 3.4 and 1800ppm
Salt 0.11
Guess up the nute mix tomorrow. Keep it 5.8
Had to Ph it up again when ai got the down wrong and like for like seems Down is stronger than Up from my supplier. I digress

Day #33 of flower successfully nearly done. Oh my sensor play with the Dehumidifier has worked out it seems. A lovely 52% down from as high as 75%. I also actually gave it a bump - it weighs about the same as & Co and I need a step ladder to get to it. It may also have been an air lock in the drainage pipe. But whatever 52% whole home (if you’re a plant) in your 4th week of flower? Seems ok to me.
The Heat for now isn’t on!
Just spent a few minutes with & Co looking at the plants. She is very giggly happy. Me too and not even any of my own now non existent supplies left!

Taller more buds. Lighter ones darkening. Dunno. All good. No driving today. Stayed home. Feel a bit rundown so taking it easy.
SIP is perking up outside. The 15G had a trim but not really looked. Too hot outside right now. Was going to flip them about now but I think they need a few days. Like I need my bed. I need a tank of gas too. Crazy. Was all over the extractor fan too keeping it low during the day. Will have to wait for tomorrow.
& Co reckons she needs 4 people and 4 days to trim total. Crazy. Worry about that another time.

I reckon & Co is right, you trim with scissors/blades right? With an operation as big as yours I'd be buying some of the trim brushes, you can get all the big leaves in just a few seconds and it's arguably gentler than scissors as you are only lightly brushing. Jeremy from BaS shows his process and he uses the brushes if you wanna take a peek.
Might be useful or you might have already turned your nose up at them, thought I'd share just incase

The brush style is what we did with the “B Grade” last time. Similar style. We used cutters (brush) scissors last time. The price of labour for trained trimmers is quite high (nothing compared to elsewhere) I think & Co plans on training some people and then renting them out to other people
Got the munchies in the middle of the night and ate some pf the kids candy. Had some biscuity wafer in it. I’m pretty seriously gluten intolerant these days. Bloated, tired, headache. Yucky stomach. Hopefully little enough its just a day. Last time it was two
Flushing them. Light rinse. Big of Cal and some filler. 5.8 and I think 1.2 In.
Gas is out until I get to the shop so may as well, I was thinking about it yesterday anyway. Mixing 100L with fewer ingredients was also more appealing than 200L with lots!

The Do So Dos improved. Lower down plenty of yellowing downstairs but growing a lot up top.
There are clones from the GG in the Hydroline now. I have no idea what & Co has planned for them. Sell maybe, give away to the kids friends’ parents

Day 35 - end of 5 weeks flower.
Mixed some nutes. Off to get gas in a moment.
As you were really. Not sure some of the OG Kush have much more left in them. Oh to have been able to train more. If I get another week out of them I’ll be surprised.
So obviously no flushing and what’s the point anyway? Having read up on it I’m on the no flush side but would have been nice to save the nutes! Trim party for & Co and the girls next weekend I reckon. I’m not hanging whole colas again due to humidity control.
My AirBnb plans for that room might be on pause. I see a couple of pounds of OG Kush drying in there soon.

Watering. Got the gas then the reg has a issue so gave them a quick blast and turned off the extractor. Reg being repaired in a bit. Maybe swap out for the spare. No big issue just a little leak. Could hear it as soon as I switched on. Its a two spanner job to tighten it and I have only one that size. Its also really a 3 hand job as need one to hold it as its wired into the wall! Knackered and then a ratchet strap jammed after loading the tank and that was major. Me and 6 Thai Steel works jabbering at each other trying to fix it. I tried telling them WD40 and pull that bit but they had 12 giant rolls - like 3m and 20m long - of steel that had just been delivered to put away by hand (no forks) so even in 34c degree heat they would rather chat about my stuck ratchet strap. I’m still not A1 and although I’ve lived in very hot places mostly, SA and HK get some sort of winter, this week has been particularly hot. Next to the nute tank at the back of the carport in total shade, need a light on to get there is 30c’s now at 6pm that’s 86F in the shade with a breeze
I’m bushed but think I can eat properly tonight.

They’re getting a little bump on last week. Upping the Bloom explode and the A/B a bit. Its a week early according to the charts but I think some are finishing early. Meh. Co2.

Oh the electricity bill arrived. Think its like $5 less than last month. Despite two more lights most the month and bumping the flower room AC to coldest and letting the teenager use her AC and using the seedling room one for a couple of weeks. (We’re not being mean with the teenager but she has a massive ceiling fan and often has the doors to the pool and garden open with the AC on which is just a waste - she has decided she would rather the AC and remember to close the doors, & Co makes compelling arguments at times!)
So how is this possible? The frayed cable we had fixed I guess. This month wasn’t full blast with lights quite but close with the added AC we might only use that much a couple of weeks a year. But yeah looks like we might even come under budget. Hard to tell but I reckon grow electricity is maybe $150p/m? The whole house is about $500 including that. Swimming pools and AC’s are expensive to run But that was a pleasant surprise.

Despite two more lights most the month and bumping the flower room AC to coldest and letting the teenager use her AC and using the seedling room one for a couple of weeks. (We’re not being mean with the teenager but she has a massive ceiling fan and often has the doors to the pool and garden open with the AC on which is just a waste - she has decided she would rather the AC and remember to close the doors, & Co makes compelling arguments at times!)
So how is this possible? The frayed cable we had fixed I guess. This month wasn’t full blast with lights quite but close with the added AC we might only use that much a couple of weeks a year. But yeah looks like we might even come under budget. Hard to tell but I reckon grow electricity is maybe $150p/m? The whole house is about $500 including that. Swimming pools and AC’s are expensive to run But that was a pleasant surprise.

The picture is actually a bit unflattering and unfair on & Co. And @Mars Hydro Hydroline 12. I love that we can use it for a bunch of different stuff, only complaint its a bit small for me! Oh and can’t find another one here.
Its pure Hydro but I have an aeroponics machine (no light but have a cheapo spare to use with it. It has 24 pots which is more than 12…
30 hours ago I guess & Co dropped 12 cuttings from the outside Gorilla Glue, dipped them in gel and put them in the same water we’d used for the the last lot that popped in the other grow. They were slumped over yesterday. I thought 8/12 would be a good return but they look really good and perky, all 12. Half of a bigger one yet to perk up properly but looking good.
But honestly no idea what she plans to do with them

Before it was $380 or $510CAD so that’s with a dedicated AC, lots of fans in, inside, outside, 2 480W lights (low medium) and 3 730W lights. Oh and a huge dehumidifier. $150 a month is ok for me. (And ai always put everything in USD these days, I essentially get paid in it as there is a legal “peg” for the currency I get paid in for my day job. Last year USD Went on a tear against the Asian currencies, I was getting nearly 15% more each month. Back to normal now
Anyone interested I’ll put “The Peg” in off topic. Wikipedia has it I think.
But it might be skewed out because of that cable repair. Our home stuff would have dropped anyway. So probably 200-250 maybe.
