They’ve open a new store about a mile away that is the motherlode of blue pipe.

Need to take a visit there sometime. Its basically all they sell. A small steel section. I’m imagining all the boxes of connectors and fittings that must lay behind the shelves of the stuff you can see as you drive by.

People are strange, when…

😂

So. Much. Blue. Pipe.
Lmao! And my god, what a dehumidifier. That thing is enormous! So cool to see the differences in scale between growers.

Thinking about building cages to train the plants and support the 4-6m (I forget how many metres I bought per plant) 3000k LED strips I bought for low level light.

They plug into this:

These are the lights.

The frame I’m undecided yet. Maybe blue pipe (actually white is the smallest. Went to the new store today.

Those are the connectors. Just glue and connect, although above the base probably not glue. Below the pipes.
Steel wire is the other option. Stiff electrical stuff. A bit more flexible literally and figuratively. @InTheShed?

Sparky promised promised this evening. Means he should be here in about an hour.

I would use whatever allows you to retain the most flexibility to the light rope. Nice call btw. Cuz the plants are not all going to be the same obviously. It’s a small thing, but if you can tweak the rope as necessary you’d likely be happier.

You found the mother load.

Winches in and operational!

Me and Sparky were playing around with them and laughing like kids. I tried our Skunk 11 for the first time since April so thst’s why I was laughing. Dunno what his excuse is 🤣

He’s but these worm resistors I think he called them to smooth out the winches so they don’t jerk on first press. Pretty cool.

The duty of the electrical cable he’s used looks like it should be called F500 Raptor Duty. The roof can now go up tomorrow and he’ll come back Thursday or Friday evening for the final polish.

Before the plants are in I’ll do a proper video tour. No plants in it Youtube won’t block it.

Closer and closer, we’re 3 weeks over schedule. Meh. It will be done when it is.

Some rubbish photos below.

I could watch that winch gif all day if I didn't had time to be lulled into a deep sleep!

So. Many. Blue. Connectors.

Thailand PVC is so much more colorful than the black and white options at Home Depot!

Right Shed! What’s up with those common gutter colors?

Blue is water, white electrical, yellow electrical lighting and not often seen as not many people have immersion heaters/geysers is green for hot water. Easy to spot what’s what.

Nick
That is so painfully logical I’ve been smiling for ten minutes.

it's the same color coding developed for hospitals etc. we used it when my pops was still building hockey rinks as well.

that is gonna be one monster room nick.

In theory we’re finished today bar the final electrical hook ups and finishes tomorrow evening.

Oh I have a giant blue 6” to 4” reducer being delivered tomorrow or something. That’s for the inline to dehumidifier flow booster.

New false ceiling supports going in now.

Better make sure the girls are ready to go in soon!

Nick

Yeah they didn’t finish last night and have so far no showed today. But perfectly possible they turn up in a couple of hours at 7pm or something. Yesterday they got paid in weed which is sweet.

Also 6 now goes into 4 and if I ever do an outdoor grow then I’m definitely making myself one of the other. There’s actually a “how to” video it comes from. Trust me you don’t need the video!
