Nick Hardy & Co Graduation: Coco Co2 High EC: Grown in Thailand: Perpetual

When I get back to growing photoperiods, the frame of my new tent will be constructed out of pvc piping and black and white Panda sheeting, and it will concertina with a cover over it for the dark period. It's the brainchild of my mate Ozzy, so I call it the OzTent ™ 😄

Is it Panda sheet that has the reputation for burning a little easily, or have they fixed that?

@KeithLemon Yeah Inremember you saying some thing about Military Grade Ripstop Nylon or something and I was, umm, I experienced a warm glow.

😂

Nick

I actually don't know about the Panda Film being highly flammable. I'd need to google. It's a make-shift idea for tenting plants on my table top, rather than using black bin bags. There would be no lights on and the only appliance would be a small oscillating fan. It's for tenting the plants during their dark period only. I don't think that's risky. What do you think?

Someone (ahhhm & Co) didn’t heed my month long exhortations to do inventory of the 25 or so 1m high ladies in the veg tent.

I don’t want to grow the Kali Mist again this grow. See how it sells. It just takes to long. I want everything this grow best part of a meter going into flower and was meant to be Indy and Strawberry. Only we only had about 9 of them. The rest were all Kali Mist. Bugger.

So 24 hours later and there are 75 clones across 5 strains. Some big mothers left too. Might throw them into flower in a roomier section. They’ll be getting gas by Wednesday in an effort to get a decent burst on.

The Flower Room is so close to being finished.

To Do:

Roof painted and sealed tomorrow. Drainage seats fitted, Identical
Lengths of irrigation cable cut and fitted to watering collars (sure the varying lengths of irrigation pipe explains why Q3 has always been smaller plants) Co2 lines run, fans mounted. Light Drivers mounted on walls. Lights hung and extra thick core cable connected.

Then it’ll be done. Easy day for the three of them. If they all show up 😂

Control station is all in. Well pleased with it. Bit of cosmetic work there still.

Thanks - an old man's folly, perhaps!

Be nice when its full of plants. They meg stretch in early flower followed by the "chunk up, chunk out" stage when the buds seem to grow before your eyes, its been 2 months plus since I've had that and I'm jonesing!

Doing it up and now you see so of the fruits of your labor. Looking good Nick

Lights are up and tested. Drivers mounted. Some adjustments needed for the mounting to gain some space and some lateral moves need so Q2 passes the AC.

We’ll mark out where the drainage thrones are going to go in the morning. Take the lights down (not cabled yet) while the adjustments are made and the ceiling is painted. Room finished and sparky just comes back for an hour to hook the lights up. Room will be done.

Yay. Those winches are so smooth. No jerk and swing. 100% lush.

We’ll have 2.5m so over 8ft from floor to max light height. We lose 45cm for irrigation and the airpots. So a clear 2m or 6’7” in max plant height.

Welcome @Mars Hydro 3 of yours with logos all to the left to the left. Oh I feel like a singalong.

IMG_4833.jpeg

🎵 The FC - six five hundreds went marching two plus one, hurrah, hurrah,
The FC - six five hundreds went marching two plus one, hurrah, hurrah,
The Mars Hydro lights winch up and down,
They won’t give up until the girls are fully grown
And they all march up, to the skies, with their nugs, fully blown, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM! 🎵

Doesn’t really lend its self to more verses with out further construction work 😂

All the cables, connectors replaced awaiting hook up on the lights.

Just sent the hook of one through the plasterboard ceiling. Suboptimal performance by the winch man there 😆

Thank you. Nah I could build whatever I want in there. Could have left the roof off or built a mezzanine floor in there whatever. There’s zero inspectors for this stuff. But I want perfection and my Sparky who is more than just the Sparky now he checks everyone elses work as well. He wants it safe and perfect. Whole rebuild still costing a third less than a single new FC6500

If you were serious it would be a push button electric winch.

Custom built electric winch controller with push buttons. 🛗 Room for 3 😂

Already sent one through the new ceiling. Luckily the guys are here finishing the ceiling now, they can repair that mishap. Told ‘em that winch needed to move 2” the other way 😅

Bought 10 sets of these today. $3.50 a set! They're like $60 on ebay! 36cm poles and connector balls.

Just clip 'em together and thinking I can cut the poles to shorter lengths as well. There's more to the pictures but they all feature small children so cropped them out! They're Children's Fort Building Kit also know as Cannabis Plant Climbing Frames.

Its all coming together - apart from the absence of any plants ready to put in there. That's a bit disappointing.

@NickHardy - great minds think alike! My hula hoops are listed as “Children’s Exercise Hoop.” I love using stuff that isn’t traditional infrastructure. Keeps it fun.

OMG. I stand corrected and humbled and embarrassed by my rookie attempt to give you good natured ribbing. I’ll do better next time.
