Demolition really meant demolition 🤣

Its awesome. Totally blank slate.

Sparky coming in an hour just to come help me design the next bit.

Going to buy a laser thing now. For winch placement. So so cool!
Wow, you're putting in some capital given this may be your last grow, or are things looking up a bit more lately?

Wow. Awesome. It’s the Wild West, you do whatever you want. I get it.
Yep but we want to do to higher standards. Because it doesn’t cost much, it will become a legal requirement anyway so get out ahead of everyone else.

If this rebuild costs more than another $500USD I’d be surprised.

The winches and controls and stuff maybe I’m in for $300. That’s already paid a couple of months back.

Its a 150g wholesale price - and yes we are cash and barter - well we tip well at end of day!

That laser thing was $40. The 4 new ceiling lights $12 total.

Its fine. I left the house first time in the week today. Working hard and can’t spend too much money while I’m sitting at my desk!

What if you’d got a quote for a serious testing machine and had a medically licensed premises to put it in? I mean I guess its probably like a new 3 Door Dai- hat-sui (Glengarry Glenross movie reference) for the machine and then the pharmacy wants half the fees for rent/running the tests.

😂

The thing here is its a massively Agrarian population and a massive part of the economy. The Govt. With regulatory costs pricing the locals out the market with costs for testing? No way. They’ll set up a testing lab at like $5 a test. They don’t! They’ll lose the next election. Its very very different to Europe/US For local sales they wonmt drill down too far. The medical for international will have to be ISO international
Standard and the big players get that.

So yeah got the quote and suitable pharmacy space to put it in. But we’ll wait and see for a bit still.

Its been a long game. But lots of bits all coming together for like a real launch.

My guess is it won’t - mood is changing. And stories of a fixed price of finished product being given that would umm amply recompense us, then some for everything cap and op ex on this family joy biz.

The crazy lights? The solos? The the Wasabi, the $300 of super special tomato seeds?

Just discovered a real passion for growing. My parent's get it. Its not them really. But like it skipped a generation both sides. Though my Mum has always grown her own herbs and tomatoes (heh she got nutes and top end seeds in for a late season greenhouse grow all being delivered to her do we can grow together)

So yeah - I don’t go out much at the moment, mad busy with my day job. I’m not a member of any golf/country club type things, my designer cloths fetish fell away about 10 years ago. My income v. Cost of living - no home loan or rent. I’m 40-45 years old.

The crazy is my Rod Stewart’s train set.

Its passion. Love. A hobby.

The biz bit too. That’s different. That’s huge crossover with day job. Designing a whole new company for my wife? Logistics to Logo to Label to Lucre. Oh that’s awesome. Total expenditure last I checked was like $7k USD. That’s cheaper than the motorbike I was gonna buy last year!

And my wife has many kilos of weed to sell legally She can honestly keep it all. I paid the startup. Its a way better hobby than riding motorbikes in your 40’s!

❤️

Way better hobby.

Love it when a plan comes together…

I’m naming the lights. Numbers so dull.

And printing on my new labels.

Now I’m going to retire to my bedroom to read the Sunday papers (its 1:30pm here, hour behind Bali/HK) while the builders build, spark and the kid build the new grow tent and cable and & Co and team trim the last 500g.

My work is done (I’m not entirely sure what that work was because its mostly other people getting on with stuff!)
Nick

People keep tinging the doorbell! No one even knows what a door bell in Thailand is 364 days a year - it rings in our bedroom and the video screen flashes up 😂

Last person was delivering me 3x Royal Cookies seeds though so forgiven 😆

Popping later.

Literally watch this space. Well the space in the photo.

My sparky. He just hung out and sat around in the room for a bit and came iver after about 30 minutes.

I was watching the very tense cricket at the time but could see him hanging out from the corner of my eye.

He called me over by first name terms which is new and welcome - I call him Mr Tu in Thai. He never calls me anything.

Just shy and he’d at least graduated from “Mister” about a year ago.

But simple easy idea. The cabinet is not quite finished but the room lights are in the cab.

So its a pain.

He looked around a while. And said

“Put the box and the switch in the wall. Have the bulders cut a hole and leave it close to flush. I think you want to choose the light switch, maybe…”
- hahhaha stainless steel look maybe!?
“Your style I think but have coloured ones as well”

Legend.

All controls go there I think.

Maybe. But def winches and general room lights.

We have dehumidifier, fan, AC, Co2 and various sensors to mount. That would be slick having it there.

We have a bunch of blue lights - blue is for water alrhough also the amp volt meter things Sparky has started putting in!

I also have Red, Yellow, Green illuminated ones in a box not more than 2’ away from me - two types of plastic button mounting boxes.

Green is Co2 for the sensors

Red or yellow?

😆

Dunno my sub subconscious mind. Like my whole “den/office” and the gantry long filled with boxes of grow stuff and parts is gonna be empty of crap within 48 hours.

“We need this thingy to do that!?”

Yeah, its in the box, small it will be at the back arrived like two months ago

Sparky picked up the new Co2 reg on the armchair next to me and asked what it was?
I lollled. He opened it and saw it was a reg. me and him have hacked together a plenty solenoid enabled Co2 regs!

Cool times.

Nick

Yay!

Tested results in!

New builders allegedly in tomorrow and a dispensary after, well it wasn’t me or anyone I know personally, suggested it might be.better they pay & Co six weeks late and they didn’t want to have to get out the country for arched feet type issues in their home country - so we’re in funds to pay for it too, from product sold rather than my funds.

Which is nice.

The THC levels awesome. I’ll find a link to Gemma Cert and whatever methodology they use - everyone seems to be chasing THC% for sales - they just post the breeders strain claims and add 2-3%. Nothing here is sold as less than 20%. Which is remarkable. As we only got one above 20%! Just!

But Kali Mist! Mashes me. So strong. Look at those other numbers!

CBD/CBG

Its all different stuff. Its an experience. You ever order a bottle of wine based on the alcohol content?!

Also we’re the only people testing and labelling so feel good about that.

Honest. Straight up.

Nick & Co

Kali Mist mashes my head and brain and I'm only vaping lowers at the moment! Pleasenetly surprised by the effects! Super Lemon Haze never tested over 14% THC back in the day and it's still one of the most potent strains I've ever come across. High in CBN.

It not all about about the THC!
