gobble gooble yo :thumb:

Best of days to you BAR!

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

Happy "THANXX" Day, Reg :lot-o-toke:
Pics look great :thumb:...scary transplant but she looks like she recovered nicely....when the soil is removed from the roots it rips off the microscopic root hairs that bind themselves to the soil and are responsible for the water and nutrient uptake...it takes a couple days for these root hairs to grow back and the plant to fully recover...she's looking good

Happy Thanksgiving Reg :lot-o-toke:
Thanxx & a Happy one to all of you.

DAY 3 OF RECOVERY > The Transplant of RACHEL SUAVAY (White Widow X Skunk) Day 54

Nov. 28, 2013

She's doing much better.

AFTER

All new growth is healthy. Even at the bottom of the plant. Before the transplant there weren't any branches growing from of the original node leafs.

I guess it's confirmed: "SCIENTIFIC SOILS PROFESSIONAL GROWERS' MIX" was the problem.

1. Stuns growth: After 52 days without any manipulation RACHEL SUAVAY (White Widow X Skunk) had not grown any taller than 6 inches.

2. Caused deficiencies and/or lockouts: Both RACHEL SUAVAY (White Widow X Skunk) and KUMIKO I (Honey Haze) had discolored, twisted and conflicted leafs.

3. Bad medium for seedlings: After tap-rooting in my seed dish KUMIKO II (Honey Haze) was planted in "SCIENTIFIC SOILS PROFESSIONAL GROWERS' MIX" and never sprouted.

And last but not least

4. Can kill your plant: After getting KUMIKO I (Honey Haze) started in a dixie cup she was transplanted into a pot of "SCIENTIFIC SOILS PROFESSIONAL GROWERS' MIX" where she eventually died after 16 days.

For those of you who don't know Biggie won & has already received his "SCIENTIFIC SOILS Professional Growers' Mix". This was his reply after I gave him a heads up about the problems I had with it. I agree 100%.

With that said I've decided to try "SCIENTIFIC SOILS Professional Growers' Mix" one more time as I still have 2/3 of it left. I'll attempt retiring from the "DEAD CLONE SOCIETY CLUB" with LAVERNE (Re-Veg) & my new goodies.

I took a couple cuts from LAVERNE (Re-Veg)

After lightly scraping the cuts I dabbed them in "ROOTING COMPOUND".

IMG_20131128_121212.jpg

Then prepared the "RAPID ROOTER MATS" with Ph'ed tap water & inserted the cuttings.

Then set-up the new clone station & WHALA!

Re: New City Grower

fyi when you make a cutting and leave it in the air like that you might want to make a second cut under water so there is no air embolism
just a thought

Re: New City Grower

Thanxx Soda Pop. It's getting a little more exciting now that I have a few plants to fool around with. Having the week off gave me time to concentrate on this grow. Most of the time I'm 420ing from work. I figured while I'm cooking I might as well do some growing. None of my guest will arrive until after 6:00 for dinner. It's only 1:42.
