If you use pee, you have to hold your mouth right or you'll get a Ng deficiency. Or, spider mites.

Drinking bat guano 48 hrs prior to letting loose is beneficial as well.

(anyone doing this, please post pics for future educational purposes)

Re: New City Grower 3.0 - Sponsored by Twilight Group Co. - Featuring the Spider9 COB

Been awhile since I drove thru. The girls are starting to put on some weight there. Talking about the wick passive hydro, the first plant I ever saw gown in hydro was one in a plastic 5 gal water bottle. The dude was pea gravel as a medium. Out the bottom he had a towel hanging in the feed. I remember it was a massive single cola plant the looked 'huge'. But then that was like the 4th or 5th time I ever saw a weed plant. Back like 72'. It impressed me for sure. Well enough ramblings. Spiders are looking fine Keepem Green

Looking good buddy. :thumb:

Soilgirl, when your males are causing dead spots on the lawn, is it only during the warmest part of Summer? I've only ever had an issue with my female dog. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is. My male is just under 100 lbs, so I think he's considered a 'large' dog. My female is only ~30 lbs and will make a brown spot every time if I don't dilute it quickly. It's worse when it's warm. I had another male who passed a couple years ago. He was ~80 lbs and he never caused any brown spots either. Interesting that our experience has been so different.

Re the vermiculite hazard... I wasn't aware some of it used to have asbestos. :yikes:
I have read that the vermiculite dust is considered a potent carcinogen on it's own. My understanding is that it behaves much like asbestos when it gets in your lungs. In the 90's I grew in a mix of vermiculite and perlite for awhile. I wasn't aware of any hazard with perlite (other than the hazard of inhaling ANY dust/particulates), so I've replaced the vermiculite with coco. Seemed to work well for some of the mothers I was keeping last year. Currently, all my plants are in rock. :blalol:

Re hydro... Growing hydroponically doesn't necessarily mean "water only".
I prefer to use expanded clay pebbles as my media. It's reusable, inert, fairly inexpensive, and works really well IMHO. I also prefer a flood & drain or ebb & flow type of system. Personally, I use 2 of CAP's Ebb & Gro systems. I can talk all day about hydro, so I'll leave it there for today. I've got a new journal in the works, but starting them is always the hardest part as I'm trying to document my 'tech' as much as possible. I have the text mostly written in a file, but I keep walking away from the image upload and it times out :blalol:

Good Day weed BAR. Very nice grow going on in here. Looks like you are getting the Royal Medic figured out. To me she was dam finicky in the nute area. The two times I grew her she looked like sheet but produced quite well. :goodjob: :yummy::rollit::passitleft:
