Natural Spirit's Grafting Journey Of 2019

It looks really good. Even better in those shots. Ha this is going to get freaky! I love it.

Man if this works i freak out myself. From a foggy idea to a willow graft... next in line? the Avocado that's doing great in my veg box :circle-of-love:

Before i go banana's i do want to make sure it really takes off. before lights turns off i probably put the bag over her for the night. My gosh am i happy to see my very first graft ever work:adore:

I just came across the following image

Is this something someone ever tried? i know the Fig tree has hollow stems so it might be worth trying that in spring? that is if my friends get it out the ground in the move to my new house lol

Goooood morning everyone:ciao:

Remember I wanted to put the bag on at night? Well Maybe I got a little to medicated:battingeyelashes: just simply forgot to put it on... when I realised it I carefully opened the box... and She is ok. Not perfect but ok. For now Ive put the bag over her so She can recover from a scary night without protection hehe

Dunno nothing about grafts but gradual exposure to ambient RH is what I use to get cuttings to root!

Well it should be the same with the graft. My idea was to leave it off for an hour to see How She reacted. Cause I got to medicated I forgot to put it back on. Suprisingly She made it true the night and Ive put the bag back on. When it comes off I first make a small hole in the top to let her get used to the new Rh. That way Everything should work out.

Goooood afternoon everyone:lot-o-toke:

I'd like to say i totally dig these new emotions hehe.

The graft is doing fine. Not really alot of growth or anything since i let the bag off for a night
(DOH)

I do think she will still make it true and we will see what happens with her. Since ther eis a big chance i get my wheelchair friendly home soon i decided not to graft anything till i am up and running again. Moving a recently grafted plant just doesnt sound right to me. So this one is all our hope at this point.

What i am suprised about is that the willow is doing so damn fine. She is growing like a champ and i have to cut back brneches almost every two days!

Thinking about the grafting i did little research and i might want to try several methods to graft onto this wilow. the tools works fine(as it should for almost 50 euro a year ago) but still i like to try more, and more... and probably even more :P

The Avocado is doing great and i might be grafting on her right after the moving to! Maybe a full grafting box in the new home? So many options and a big big park to test some of my own seeds in summer;)

It would be fun to just toss a few seeds here and there to see if they come up...

It's time to find my mojo back!:Rasta:

Have a wonderfull day

Tomatoes are closely related and a man claims he grew thc tomatoes, I want to see someone try to graft a vine to the cannabis plant if I can get a morning glory seed to sprout i'll try it out on the weakest girl in my tent when she gets turned into a house plant lol. I also may try the seed thing with basil seeds next week when I change my reservoirs the seeds are tiny and seem like they would be a good fit. i love these kind of grow journals.

oh this is neat as hell!
:nomo::popcorn::bong:
i thought abt grafting cannabis onto not-cannabis the other week and shook it off as one of those copious "time to lay off on the fancy perc bong" ideas. to think it's turning out this promising has me extremely stoked :slide:!! hoping that yr plants will make the connection :goodluck:

Thank you so much! its amazing that so many peeps already have EXACT the same brain tingeling going on with these type of things :cheer:I have to say most of what i do comes from "what if i only do" and then i end up with a weird thing or a dead thing lol. Most of all i like to meet peeps like us and see what we can come up with. Thanks for checking it out and please feel free to add, help or spread some great info

Full grafting room if this works!

Hey the house i am about to accept( visit sceduled for monday) has a extra room... sponsored grow/ grafting grow.. something like this would fit perfectly in there. Grafting is def something i will proceed, not only in cannabis.

Well this is intesting for sure. Ive been speaking to some grafting peeps and all of them told me it would not pass the THC. Still i havent seen any hard proof of that... Can i come back at ya when one of my graft clones has a willow taste in the near future? :p

The house plant idea sure is nice but then i would take a multiple year rootstock and graft the cannabis on that. This way its easyer for the plant to reveg (depending on where you live it might be possible without a light as the roots wont die?)

Most of what i do here is new to me to so who knows.. The Avocado is doing well and will get grafts on it. Why not turn it around and graft some fruit on a cannabis... Man the future has so many plans for a grafting mind:goof:

If your graft takes I can't see why any flowers wouldn't contain THC. But if you grafted a willow to a cannabis plant would the fluffy things sprout trichomes?

The only information that was actually real for sure( for what i could find) was a research because of a old story about grafting hop to Cannabis so it looked like hop but contains THC. The testresults were all negative for THC. This was just a single test and who knows the way that works is as wide as the amount of strains?

I believe there still is a lot to learn so it does tingle my brain.

Once you get the grafting thing down the next thing is going the other way to see if you can get high off a tomato. No THC in the hops indicates you won't though.

Well it was 1 study and as we all know the internet doesnt always provide the information we need, but mostly the information we are allowed to read. So i wont be suprised if it works. Just dont forget to put it inside in the fall or it will die :P

Woops almost skipped this, but here are a few close family relatives of the cannabis. Grafting onto these should be easyer so i probably wont try that ;)

Family of the Cannabis:

Hops
Hackberry
Trema Orientalis
Blue Sandalwood (This i did not know and i love sandalwood, i'll check what the blue is that makes this one different )

Hope the links work, please let me know.

What i did see was the Blue Sandalwood could grow over 20 meters... this means you have some serious training to do will you get this in you growbox lol.

My vote would be for some weed grapes if you bioengineer TF out of this plant.

that sounds grape ;) In fact the avocado was chosen cause its a pain in the behind to grow it properly without a veg box in our climate. Now that it takes i sure hope pollination with CBD pollen or so might get you a chilled grape or uplifting cucumber... hey i am open to that :cheer:

Gooooood Sun(ny)day everyone:goof:

Hope all your weekends have been amazing so far. I had a wonderfull evening full off chillings with a good bud of mine. We smoked a fat juicy blunt and we were so lit... it was out of this world :meditate:

So the graft... She had a minor setback with me leaving that bag off last week. Still she is green, and the new shoots seem like they will keep growing? we will see. What might be happening is the graft didnt "attatch" to the willow and the moist in the bag kept her alive all the time? Who knows! i took it off for 15 min now and will check back after this update.

I also made a nice new cloner from scrap but ill post it in the multitasking journal ;)

The graft:

Let me know what you think or what could be done better:thanks:
