My Grow

Time for my update. I'm totally disgusted with this grow ! Plants were 6 weeks old yesterday. They look about 3 weeks old. I can't remember ever having plants this small at 6 weeks old. Just want this grow over at this point. It Sucks !
Anyway, I fed all 4 plants 32 oz. each yesterday at 5 grams per gallon MC Equivalent. "POP TARTS" is almost ready to be fed again as her pot is pretty light. I'll probably up-pot her to 5 gal. this weekend. I started LST on her 5 days ago.
The W.W. I Topped & Cloned on the 13th. I did the LST on her this morning.
I also Topped the "OG KUSH" this morning & her top is now in the Cloner. I did LST on her also.
The "AURORA INDICA". This one got heavy duty work on her. She's being Q-Lined so a big ass top came from her.
The side branching was already starting the 4th nodes so all 4 of those branches got topped too. The Main Top & one of the bigger side shoots are in the cloner. I also have 6 side shoots I took off the Top that I'm hoping to root in just glasses of water. We'll see what happens with those.
Well,.... Let's show some pics.
OG KUSH b4 topping:

Why is this thing putting out Pistils ? It's not an Auto. Never had a Photo do this on 18/6 before. I'm puzzled !

"AURORA INDICA" Because I'm hoping to do a comparison grow with her clones I took several. She had a big top so most of them came from that.

14-194 3-18-22.JPG

As you can see, she was topped 5 times all in one shot. Will it Hermie ? Hell if I know. Never did this before.

Like I said, I've pretty much given up on this grow turning into much at all. Only going to up-pot the "POP TARTS" & leave the other 3 in the pots they're in now. As soon as the clones are rooted I'm flipping to 12/12 & putting an end to this grow. Not worth the time & effort to veg them longer. I'd rather move on to my comparison grow & see if I hit on something that works well for me.

If you want a grow to be over quickly then topping isn't the way to go! Any topping slows makes the grow take longer. :)

It's letting you know it's female, not flowering.
Yeah, I realize topping slows them down; but I needed the clones so I did it anyway.
Wasn't sure what was going on with the pistils. First time it ever happened.... that I noticed it anyway. I was starting to think I got an Auto by mistake that got mixed in at the seedbank. Thanks !

High, High, High !
Going to do another quick update. Yesterday........ I decided to up-pot 2 of my plants to 5 gal. grow bags.
Here is the "POP TARTS"

14-205 3-20-22.JPG

I think she looks much better in her new home.

14-208 3-20-22.JPG

I've given each plant 2 feedings each at the 5 gr. MC Equivalent. But I did change back to the Equivalents using Cal Mag. Plants are already looking better; but still slightly on the light green side. The "WHITE WIDOW" looks fine at 5 gr.
I'll probably go to 5.5 gr. on the other 3 on their next feeding.
"POP TARTS" is a drinker. I gave her 48 oz. of feed yesterday & she was dry this morning. I had enough feed left to give her another 48 oz. today. I'll mix the 5.5 gr. today for their next feeding (probably tomorrow).

I also up-potted the "WHITE WIDOW" to 5 gal. Although, she was a little small for it, she was the 2nd biggest so I did it anyway. I was surprised to see there wasn't much difference in root growth between the POP TARTS & WHITE WIDOW.
Pop Tarts had just a little more.

She looks small, but better in the 5 gal.

And here we have a couple of group shots.
I'm at a dilemma with these plants. I kind of want to hurry the grow along. But I don't want to end up with a measly oz. either. So I'm contemplating hanging the TSL 2000 in my shed to start flowering each plant as it gets big enough.
Decisions, Decisions.... lol.

14-219 3-20-22.JPG

This morning I ordered some other Self watering & aerating grow pots. I just ordered 2 of each size 6" = 1.6 qt. & 10" = 2 gal. for the comparison grow. Here's pics of what I ordered.

Looking forward to testing @Krissi1982 , method out. Not the same pots she uses, but close enough.

Well guys, I'm going to do an update (that I'm totally ashamed of). I can surely say this has been "My Worst Grow Ever" !
I've had nothing but issues all the way through & no clue why. Ready to trash these plants & start over as I'm not sure I can even fix this. Not sure if it's even worth the effort; as the plants were 7 weeks old yesterday & less than 1/2 the size they should be. I'll show you what I'm talking about.

"AURORA INDICA" This one is the worst of the bunch.
14-223 3-25-22.JPG
14-224 3-25-22.JPG
14-225 3-25-22.JPG

"OG KUSH" Although she's small for her age, she's the healthiest looking one in the bunch.
14-226 3-25-22.JPG
14-227 3-25-22.JPG
14-228 3-25-22.JPG

"WHITE WIDOW" This is only on her very bottom leaves so far. Any ideas, Anybody ? I'm at a loss. So far nothing I've done has fixed anything & things just keep getting worse.
14-229 3-25-22.JPG
14-231 3-25-22.JPG

14-233 3-25-22.JPG

"POP TARTS" Now this gal is doing the opposite of the others. Her Top leaves are turning yellow. Her bottom leaves are nowhere near this yellow; but there is a slight discoloring.

14-237 3-25-22.JPG

I have to admit, I'm totally lost on this grow. Nothing is making sense because I've grown these strains before. These are all seeds that came in the same packs as the previous ones grown.
Seems every grow I do, things get worse & worse instead of better. The more environmentally dialed in I get, the worse the grows get. I'm also wondering if there's not enough of something or too much of something in the MC Equivalent calculations that's either not being supplied or causing some kind of lockout to another nutrient.
All I know is something is not right & it seems like each plant has a different issue.
If you guys got any suggestions I'm surely in need of help.

Well, on the bright side.... lol, 3 of the 6 Clones in the bubbler have rooted. I'll pot them by tomorrow. Not really sure I should even waste my time on clones from these plants, but I will.
I'm not going to use the nute calculations on the clones. Just going to use the MC, CalMag & Silica according to the directions on the bottles to see how things go. Can't get much worse, the way I see it.
I'm also removing my AC (turning it off) from here on out & only using my exhaust & intake. Yes, the temps will be higher & the RH lower. Oh Well ! Dialed in doesn't work well for me.

I see this time and again, sigh..

You really don't have any control over what you are feeding because its hard to judge what is in the FFOF and how quickly it is depleted.

Try ProMix HP which has NO nutrients and feed just MC, you may need some Cal/Mag with LED's.

This is non-phed well water, auto's from autoflower dot ca, MC, 3 Gallon fabric pots under a 600w MH/HPS @ day 72.

Hey Buds so sorry about your issues.
If it's effecting all of them could there be a problem with the soil causing root issues?
Seems logical as I'm sure you know how to feed and control the environment.
Just a thought.

Stay safe

Dammit, I just bought 3 more bags of FFOF today. Just my luck.

I kind of wondered about that; but convinced myself that since I've used this same soil for almost 5 years without issues, that the soil must not be it. I guess it could be a bad batch ?
I don't think it has to do with knowing what I'm adding as far as nutes. They only get water the 1st 2-3 weeks since FFOF has nutes to get you started.
I'm going to up-pot the other 2 today & put the clones that rooted in pots too. Next week I'm flipping all of it to flower & putting an end to my misery.... lol. This grow is just totally screwed up. So much so, it makes me laugh. I'm laughing because the harder I try.... the worse things get. Go Figure !
