Thanks Dennise, I am taking it easy, The most I've done today was take a look at the girls to make sure they didn't need water (getting close to a watering day). I am going to be taking a picture when I feel stronger standing for awhile of Jordan (#3), Might be a male but I've never seen one yet. I think #4 (Minnie) is starting to show signs of pistils, but like I said, I can't stand long enough to get a pic yet of either of them and today is the first time I noticed anything (and the pistils are barely visible if I'm right). I've seen pistils, so I'm comfortable IDing a female but not a male yet.

BTW, I know your injuries that you just mentioned very well, I've very similar injuries not to mention all the nerve damage that was done along with them. But I am reclining and taking it easy. I just noticed your post and wanted to answer it real quick. I AM dreaming big ! Going back to reclining further than I am to type, but wanted to say hello and answer your post.

Now don't make the Doctor come in here and make you treat that back right Smoke! You rest and take care of you and the girls will just keep on keeping on for you.

Don't even feel you have to respond. Just get better sir!
Bob ;)

Hi All! Just got back from having some tests run at the hospital and feel a little better today so I took those pics of the new plants in the flower tent. First is #3 (Jordan) That I think may be male and the second is #4 (Minnie) who may have pistils. It is also possible it is way to early to know for sure. It's no biggie, I just wanted to show them to you guys and see if you think #3 is male mostly. So here are the pics:

Like I said, It may just be too early to tell yet. But since I haven't seen a male yet, it's just a guess for me from what you guys showed me before. I don't want to start a big thing about it as it they have only been in the flower tent since 3/9/16, But the first pic is how I imagined a male to look. I'm not moving it or worrying about it at all, just curious to see if I'm seeing the right thing unless it's just way to early to tell. These are submitted for your viewing pleasure and not concern on my part all all.

I agree with your asessment. Jordan is probably male and Minnie is probably female.

I will become clearer over the next week or so. One time, I had a probably male yield 2 oz of bud.

I didn't know males could produce any, Is there a way to get it to produce without pollinating the females? Or do mean the "probable male" was actually female?

Thanks!
Smokey

I think he meant he thought it was a male but it was a female... and I too agree with you assesement Smoke...:goodjob: Like Rad said in a few more days to a week we will know for sure... Heck you will know for sure... Really good catch an the boy....:high-five: Glad to hear you are feeling better.....:circle-of-love:

Thanks Dennise, That's kind of what I figured. I obviously will wait until they develop more to be sure. From my understanding there is no hurry or worry about the male pollinating the female very fast. So in a week or more I will show you guys more pics to be sure it is a male since this is possibly the first one I've seen. I feel comfortable in IDing a female now, But just not a male until I have seen one for sure. I am feeling better, not back to my normal quite yet, But good enough to move around more and go online more than I have been. Thank you!

I think Rad and Dennise are right! One male and one female looks to be what is coming into focus.

Yep, thought she was a male, but 10 days later the boy bits weren't developped and she showed lovely girl pistils.

No need to wait a week for pictures. I could look at them every day :)

You'll get pics more than that, I just meant about a week for those 2 plants since they need to mature. I just (Today) got the bottom of the bookcase turned into a larger than before grow area for vegging (my son did the physical work while I explained what I wanted done) and had to transplant the 707 Truthband into a 3 gallon pot and is now in the bottom of the bookcase. I will be posting pics of almost everything soon. I just have to do it slowly to baby my back. It's feeling a bunch better, just not back to MY normal yet.

and I don't want to push it. This is a pic of the bottom of the bookcase when I first tried it. Now it is much taller and the lights are high enough not to burn the plants. I even had to "repurpose" a small shelf I had to lift the Truthband (#5, named Groot) to lift the planting pot up closer to the lights. I will be posting pic's of all of this stuff plus the top of the bookcase plants so you can see them. If I'm feeling good enough I may take the pics tonight even.

Here is an update of what's in the bookcase. First is the 707 Truthband (I think I should raise it up a little more) in the lower improved bookcase:

This is the Amnesia after I topped it (getting close to transplanting I think into a 1 gallon pot):

Here is the Delicious Super Silver Haze:

Next is the clone (for what it's worth, Still kind of limp in baggie, But I have been replacing the air in the bag with my breath every other day:

Lastly is #1 and #2 in the flower tent:
1_n_2_flowering.jpg
So those are everything except the 2 new ones in the flower tent. I am still waiting for Bubba's Gift to sprout. BTW, ALL of these are feminized. Also the clone looks like it's covering the Amnesia. I don't know why it looks that way in the pic because it isn't covering anything.

Nice !!

You have a lot going on :)

My clones in the inflated bag are not doing well. I have been opening the bag every 3 days and the clones smell bad - like rotting leaves. There is some rot.
I am pretty sure I started them with too much water. The first 3 days and the second 3 days, there was standing water to pour out of the bag.

Looking at your pictures, I also think I have been light starving the clones. I'm not sold on this unvented clone bag idea - but I also made mistakes.

But you have a lot going on... Did understand you to say that Truthband Groot is now in the flower tent?

Damn Smokey, you & your girls are looking great, truly outstanding job.

No, The Truthband (Groot) is now in the bottom (new) section of the bookcase which is on the same lighting cycle as the top of the bookcase (18/6). I just transplanted the Truthband yesterday from a 1 gallon pot into the bigger pot as it was getting real tight in the 1 gallon pot and seemed to have stopped growing much. The Truthband is still way to small to go into flower mode. I just wanted it to have a chance to start getting bigger in veg mode. If you look at the pictures again, it's the one with the white all around it and the 2 big CFL lights above it and the shelf below it. In fact I just went back and looked at Message #1770 where I posted the pics, It's the first pic in the message.

Thanks!
Smokey

I agree with you on the clone being in a closed bag. Too much moisture, Not enough air movement or light and this one hasn't done it yet, but the first clone smelled as well. I decided to try a test. I took the clone out of the bag, put it in a small pot bottom that is about 7" across and probably 4-5" deep, then I took and put some rods across the top and placed another larger pot bottom (both very clear) over the top of the smaller pot bottom (see pic attached). This leaves a small amount of air to circulate in the "container" (which I can add clone water to each day if needed or as often as it requires it) as well as allowing A LOT more light to get in. This is just a test I thought of after reading your post and figured it can't hurt to try. Take a look at the pic and let me know what you think. Mine was/is very limp and looks to be dying and I'm hoping this will help it grow roots better. I just have to remember to check it daily to make sure the cube remains soaked. Here is the pic I took of the experiment:

Clone_test.jpg
I had enough water in the bag afterwards to pour it out as well. I just figured it couldn't hurt to try. If I had the money I would have bought the stuff to make Canna's clone bubbler, but it's a little out of my price range right now. If this fails, I will just save to get all the stuff to make the bubbler, but like I said, since this is just something I would have just gotten rid of after topping the amnesia, what's it gonna hurt to try?
