Hey Smoke.
I am around, just didn't want to muddy the waters with all the planning going on in here! Sounds like a plan is hatched.

Well ... maybe a plan is hatched. The plan was based around 8 plants in flower. This was a PeeJay selected number, and PeeJay is familiar with the tent size, light size, pot sizes, soil, etc.
But .. ahem...when I went back and re-read Smokeater's note
4+1 is not 8 .... 4+4 is 8 ... Can we try 8 plants?
How wide are these plants?
I usually run 3 or 4 plants per light, but I also usually run plants 24-30" wide
With a 4x4 tent, 8 plants in three rows with some leaves touching could be 16-18" wide.
I don't think we have the luxury of open space around each plant unless we run 1-3 plants at a time. That is a lot less than 8 plants.

It sounds like your plan is now always 6 plants outside the tent:
2 plants roughly 0-20 days old.
2 plants roughly 17-40 days old,
2 plants roughly 51-60 days old.
Excellent.
I think you will be happy with your choices and the results.
Thank you so much Radogast, But I have 4 in the tent and 4 in the bookcase right now. It sounds like I'm behind on the ones in the bookcase if I should have 6 in it. I have right now:
1 germinated and waiting to sprout (Bubba's Gift Feminized) Planted this afternoon.
1 seedling (The Delicious Critical Super Silver Haze Feminized) 5 days old.
1 still in a solo cup (The Amnesia Feminized) 18 days old that I should be able to transplant into a 1 gallon pot in about a week or maybe less.
1 in a 1 gallon pot (The 707 Truthband Feminized) 24 days old, hopefully will be able to transplant into bigger pot soon (This strain seems to be growing kind of slow in comparison to the rest).
which puts me 2 behind after the one I just germinated sprouts, but to keep the timing right, I'll wait about 20 days to pop 2 more seeds to have 6 in the bookcase. The worst it will do is slow down my harvest for a little while until I get my scheduling down right. This is the first grow (Obviously) and trying to get the timing down is off a little bit it looks like. One of the reasons I'm down 2 is the Afghan Kush that I germinated and planted never sprouted. It's still in it's cup and getting water every week, but I germinated that one with the Truthband (24 days old) and am waiting to see something but don't have high hopes for it.
Thanks for helping me Radogast, I'm trying to learn everything as fast as I can, I am also trying the assembly line timing as well and don't have that down yet, as it's all still so new and takes time to grow to test the timing for me. I'm learning as I go, but sometimes I don't always get the timing right yet. I'll figure it out (with a little help on the timing I just realized) but it may take a few months to get it all down and running correctly.

Unfortunately, the tent is 4' wide and 2' deep by 5' high, so that kind of limits how many plants I can put in there. I have 4 in there now and if I tightened them all together a little more I could probably fit 1 more plant in it, but no more than 5 in flower at a time. I may have to accept the lower harvest sizes and make due with what I can get. I just don't have a clue on how much a plant normally harvests to make an estimation. Unfortunately I'm having a "bad back day" and cant get up to measure the plants right now. But I will tomorrow as soon as I can.

Not that I'm apologizing, but it took me so long to get back to you guys before because a little after 6:00 I brushed my teeth and hurt my back for today (hopefully only today) and had to lay quietly until around 9:00 - 9:30 when I tried sitting back up and read the posts and it took time to look up all the dates and count the days to give an accurate read on my plants to Radogast. Damn my stupid back! I feel so useless some days because I can't go out and make money. All I want is to be able to quit these narcotics and not have to deal with the results of long term narc use as well as be able to make some oil for my wife, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to do both now and I'm definitely going to take care of her first, so I may not be able to quit the narcs all together. (BTW, I'm NOT ASKING FOR ANY HELP WITH ANYTHING.... I'm just venting.) I'll figure something out in the end. Maybe I'll just have to accept smaller plants and harvests and still use narcotics with weed as a bonus to help when it's bad like tonight (My Doc won't let me use both but what he doesn't know.....) I just don't remember PJ ever saying 8 plants in the tent, because I gave him the dimensions right at the beginning and even I know that wouldn't fit. I must have had my head up my ass at some point. He said 2-3 ounces a harvest or a month, I'm going to go back and reread this to see what I was thinking, because I even talked about not being able to do it at one point and PJ set me straight.

We know that 4 plants is a good number in the tent.
We think plants about 50 days old are a good size if we want 4 plants.
Vent away.. You operate at a faster pace than I, I figure an answer in 1-2 days is punctual

You have 707 Truthband feminized that will go into the flower tent in about 25 days - and the tent will be packed tight for several days.
You tent is now running at max capacity, your lighting schedule is set, and you will be harvesting medicine in the future.
Your 2 oldest bagseed girls will be ready for harvest in about 45 days. (Sorry I forgot their names)
In 45 days, Bubba's Gift Feminized and Delicious Critical Super Silver Haze Feminized will be just about ready to move into the tent
That part is looking very good. You will have a harvest of 2 plants at or before May Day
Around the middle of April, before we get to the May Day harvest, Amnesia Feminized, still in the solo cup, will be knocking at the tent door saying "let me in. Let me in." This MIGHT work out pretty well or might be awkward.
If one of the plants that went into the tent today is a boy, it will be removed and 707 Truthband becomes the 4th girl in the tent.
If both of the plants that went into the tent today are boys, 707 Truthband becomes the 3rd girl and Amnesia Haze becomes the 4th girl.
(Sorry, I forgot those names already!)
So the "Ifs" are piling up, we really can't plan with confidence beyond this point.
No more plants need to be started before your first harvest.
On the bright side we have a May Day 2-plant harvest coming up and 2-3 more plants harvesting in June and July. I don't know how big they will be, but I'm willing to bet they will be sticky, potent stuff !

Don't worry about the names Rad, I feel silly using them anyways and the new ones I only gave names to in 1 post anyways. Anyways, PJ was pretty sure the 2 I just put in the tent would be females because they were the only seeds I could find in the bag and he said they were probably from "Hermies" and would end up being fmale. He made the prediction for all 4 plants way but before we knew the sex of the first 2 even and was spot on with #1 and #2. I am assumin the 2 new ones in the tent will be females but will keep a close eye on them anyways. I don't see any signs of sex yet on either of the 2 new ones in the tent yet, but it took a couple weeks to be able to sex the first 2. As far as the new ones wantng to get in the tent, I'm going to buy us some time buy having my son help me make the bottom of the book case taller, I just have to remove the stuff on the shelf and have him paint the parts that aren't painted already and make the cover bigger to cover cover5 the whole area, This should buy us some some to let them veg a little longer if necessary. I took my sleep meds about an hour or so ago and and know I'm forgetting to tell you something, but am"pretty foggy" right now and will finish this in the AM. Sorry, I can't keep my eyes open and even though I'm hurtin I have to sleep now. Talk to you tomorrow and thank you so much! I reely mean that!

Won't be on much today, still hurting it turns out, but the dimensions on the plants in the tent are:
1. 13" wide - 19" deep.
2. 13" wide - 20" deep.
3. 13" wide -12" deep (this is the one that had stunted in the beginning)
4. 16"wide - 18" deep
The reason they aren't as wide is that I do LST to make more room for the plants. Also on 1 & 2 I did some defoliating

I just feel bad this keeps happening lately especially when you guys are trying to help me, But I guess nothing has to be done today. You guys are all right of course, I am happy with the plants in the tent! and thanks to everyone for their kind words of support! I will be fine, it just takes time and meds (narcs for now) to get past this.

I ain't gonna lie to ya Smoke... I have completely been off them for 7 days as of right now...
but if I pulled my back out...
I'd take a pill...
I simply do not do pain...
I really am not a girly girl...Kinda gotta red neck thing goin' on... but I do not do pain... So keep all things in prospective my friend... There is no doubt what so ever in my mind.... that as far as your maintenance daily kinda thing going on... that's very doable with the oil...
... but that's still a bit down the road... You should be on auto pilot now so sit back and let your meds work and let your back rest.... Well be right here just like always... Tell the Mrs. howdy for me...

I wanted to make a comment on whether you can make oil and have your own plants meds. It is possible, and I've done it, to make half batch of oil. You don't have to make a full batch according the instructions at the links I gave you on the how-to.
So when the time comes, we'll see how much you have to work with and go from there.

Screen is all wonky again and at first I couldn't sign in, I think they are still having problems, BUt I can't take the pain either Dennise, but Fortunately for me, MJ REALLY helps my back, but since I haven't harvested any yet I'm sticking with my narcs. I appreciate all of you being here for me as you always are! My home away from home.

Thanks Sis, I will most definitely be looking into making the oil in smaller batches at first to be 100% sure it helps her (I even have the link for making the oil bookmarked thanks to you), I am resting and not doing anything but taking care of myself until I feel better. I'm going to send you a PM in a minute about something else If I can with the board looking this way. I've been waiting to see when you'd pop back on, I figured you were busy. I have been having troubles all day with either blank screens or partial screens, and photo uploads showing errors.
Yesterday 420 (admin) said they were having troubles around the world with it, and they were currently working it out.
This new software update they did a few months ago is giving them major problems that they are trying to knock down one by one.
Hopefully it will all be behind them soon.

Finally have my screen back. That software update did a number on them!
Yes, it was mere $100.00 they spent for a minor update that turned into a huge major headache. They are working day and night on it.
I wouldn't want to do it. LOL
Soon the words "software glitch" will be filed away in a drawer.... and locked. LOL
