My First Time Growing

I got anoyed at my CloneBucket cord coming in through the lid, so I took a saw and cut a slice in the rim of the bucket and routed the cord through the cut. Now I can lift the lid (with clones) on and off to check roots without fiddling with the cord. All I have to check is that the roots go back inside the bucket instead of getting caught in the lid.

I have held my clones for over 40 days after roots grow in the CloneBucket with no issues. This is very useful when timing when to release the next plant to veg in it's seedling pot.

I'll also be doing the same thing with my bucket, That was the only thing I found to be inconvenient.

I just took a couple of pics of the clone after being in soil overnight. Here they are:

The part of the leaf that is damaged was yellow prior to the transplant, but it looks good so far (I think at least). Maybe a little stressed because of the move, but otherwise I'm very happy with it!

Looking good Smokeater! She will soon be standing at attention for you. Great job!:peace:

I have a question, I tried turning off email notifications in my CP under general settings and changed the default thread subscription mode to control panel only but that must not be it because I'm still getting an email for every post made on the threads I'm subscribed to. I turned it back to it's original setting, but am wondering how to turn off the email notifications? I just want to check them with the subscribed threads page now, The emails are constantly pouring in now.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

Two things.

Go to User CP, and find "general settings". Look for the choice for notifications and choose "Through my control panel only". Be absolutely sure to scroll down and click the save changes button!

Then as a security measure go to your subscribed threads page, at the top check the box in notifications at the top of the list in the green bar. Scroll down to the bottom and click the button for "selected threads", choose Control panel only and then click "go"

That should do it.

Looking good smoke. In my experience cloning, witch may not apply to your situation. I clone alot differently, but anyways. Mine seem to take 5-7 days to sprout good 1"+ roots, then go into soil where they set almost do nothing for a week or so. Then out of no where they begin growing like a weed almost out of control. Lol its awesome, I'm happy to see your getting the hang of it to. I'm working on somehow crossing the 2 strains I've became fond of out of my bagseed stash. There great growing and good smoking plants on there own, but I think somehow crossing them would create a keeper. Good job on the clone smokey...:thumb:

In general settings, the choice is called "default thread subscription mode".

OK, I did all that, now I just have to clear all the emails I got while my wife was out of it. Thanks Canna! You sure know your stuff!!
