My First Outdoor/In Ground Grow

Don’t pump them up with too much water
Was dry here but the last week it rained for 3 days straight
Got so much water that my honey dew melons split
Same thing with the cabbage & butternut squash
To much water could lead to bud rot
Keep an eye on it

I hear you man.

On one hand I have learned a valuable lesson this year that there is no such thing as anything resembling a wet/dry cycle with outdoor weed but on the other your comment about bud rot is very well recognized/received.

I hear you man!

Thanks man.

I didn't have to go out of town after all.

Sitting here this evening staring and seemingly heading towards the finish line.

I just found out I have to go out of town unexpectedly tomorrow. My tree will completely wilt if I leave her to fend for herself.

I've been experimenting with a makeshift slow drip irrigation method. This plant is loving it and hasn't looked this good/erect since she started flowering.

I'm thinking drip irrigation is a thing. Especially as opposed to watering 4-5 times a day. The media stays "wettish" constantly something I've been having trouble maintaining lately.

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions for a more sophisticated drip system with a timer please? Thank you. ☮️

It seems to have gone into hyper drive since yesterday. I'm guessing 3 weeks to harvest.

Thanks Keith, you are pretty cool (and as they say in Adams County) that's all there 'are' to it. 🙏
That is a beautiful plant stunning. How many more weeks :lot-o-toke: 🍋

I actually know what a soaker hose is man. 🙂

But, you know what? As we close out our first year of growing weed together, I am motivated to nominate you for member of the month for October. (Hopefully I'll remember to do so! 🙂) I know you said you are just a burn out in response to @Bill284 's high praises for you with your contributions to the weed growing community in general and the 420 community in particular.

But, I disagree and am honored to nominate you. If I vote for you and you vote for yourself that's 2 votes right there! 😂

But Seriously, thanks for Everything Brother Man.

If you haven’t moved that plant all summer, I guarantee the roots have gone through that fabric bag and into the soil it’s sitting on
Soak the surrounding soil well & it should be good for a while

As much as I appreciate it it's really not necessary.

Just like the NorCal hippies that put their faith in me and taught me what they knew I felt the same way when I saw your first auto grow. I'm just disseminating information that I think will help you and others get to harvest, but more importantly, understand why things happen the way they do so that if they run into that issue again they know what to do to fix it.

I've always been a strong proponent of "Give a man a fish he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime."

You already had most of the knowledge. You just needed some fine tuning for cannabis.

I mean.....just look outside. That wasn't me. That was you.

I do appreciate the sentiment though.😇

After all my talk about the heavy water requirements of this plant recently, I'm noticing now as the plant is visibly shutting down she is requiring much less water. This is very interesting to me, the learning continues. ☮️

That happens to my plants every year. Roots help anchor the plant to the ground. 🍋

I am stoked to see the unbelievable amount of beautiful full jars your going to have!!!

Doing an inspection just now I noticed this on a plant in the garden. I removed it from the plant to be safe.

Is this bud rot?

Looks like it to me.
Sorry.

Stay safe

Well, the storm (from the hurricane) has started.

It is breaking some of the welds on the tomato cages and the trees are flopping significantly.

So far no broken branches, but I will definitely take good vibes from any willing to put it out there today! ☮️
