My First Outdoor/In Ground Grow

The leaves on the top 25% of the tree in a bag are getting light green. As well I'm noticing some leaves in this area with yellow edges. I'm thinking nitrogen deficiency.

Any thoughts or opinions please?

@Trump the leaves on bottom 75% are dark green.
 
Hopefully you can get it turned around and they don’t look like mine!!

I've never grown weed in a bag outside before, but I have full confidence that it will be aces back to back. I actually think it's much easier growing outdoors than in my little closet. It's just as magical indoors but I think easier outside man. 🙏☮️
 
Yeah I think next year I’m going to do an outdoor grow! I’m soo impressed by everything I see outdoors!!

Man, especially with the three in the garden I haven't hardly done anything for them except prune them and just watch them grow. I don't want to jinx myself but the OG Kush is 8' tall now and I'm so grateful for my first year experience growing outside.
 
I'm still wrestling with what to do about this plant. The bottom 80% is dark green with leathery leaves but the top 20% of the plant is showing nitrogen deficiency.

It's too early to give it more all purpose MG fertilizer, I just applied this 3 days ago. The MG (24-8-16) has worked great so far but I feel like I would risk burning it up if I hit it again based on the bottom 80%.

Maybe I could use fish emulsion (5-1-1) safely at this point?

Well I’m not sure about soil and outdoors and your nutes but if you haven’t read through the mess of my current grow, I ran into a series of issues most of which could be eliminated for you as your growing outside. But I think my main issue was ph of the grow media that caused an issue with uptake and some toxicity and deficiencies. Basically FUBAR’d lol

I have no idea if this applies to your issue and looking back at my pics of when I first noticed it, the leaves are showing different issues. However it does look like a nutrient deficiency or too much of a nute or something.

I know that these pictures are hard to determine if they reflect what’s happening but take a look at this.

This is very helpful. I love the chart! What I have is a 100% match for the nitrogen deficiency on the chart. Although, I noticed the magnesium deficiency symptoms look very similar.

I just hit it with the fish emulsion just now. I'll see how that does and if there's no improvement, I'll try using cal/mag and epsom salt to address the magnesium question for plan B.

These Crazy Otto's are almost 4' tall now. I love growing weed. It is kind of addictive though just like Jehovah's favorite choir. 🙂😂

Time to make a bunch of pre roll and take em to a show and just pass that shit around!!

My buddies band has a show on Aug 3 I think it is that they are doing an entire show of Jerry Grisman covers. I’m taking at least 50 pre rolls and just going to toss them around hahah.

Just thought I'd let you know my idea of using fish emulsion did not have any effect.

After looking at it more I hit it with a full strength cocktail today based on MG plant food 24-8-16, pretty hot with N. I might be going to hell in a bucket with this but I'm willing to bet the plant I'm right in doing this even though I'm moving beyond manufacturers parameters for using my nutes. Either way I'm totally enjoying the ride😂

Dso was good, first set was ok but second set was fire! Eyes and the Terrapin encore where out of this world. A good time was had by all.

Maybe it's just me ......it was kinda cool knowing the setlist prior to the show but I like surprises better.

I actually wondered about that but didn't want to say anything. Unless I'm in need of one of my medicinal/favorite shows I never want to know what the next song is ahead of time. This is why I love the grateful dead channel on Sirius as my main dead fix like the pig song now and this one earlier. I screenshoted it to send to Eli. 😂

You know, from my inexperienced weed growing position, sitting here smoking some Bertha from last winters closet grow and loving the view of the outdoor plants, and contemplating how I'm going to dry all these buds . . . It occurs to me from seed to jars the most important skill is intuition. ☮️🕉️
