My First Journal: GG#4 In DWC & Soil

Got it. Thank you. She isn't big enough yet to dent my numbers like that yet but I want to prepare. I'll have to remember to mix an extra gallon or two for the week.

I just was curious if it would constrict the size of the plant like it does in soil. I have 5 gallons but wanted to check before starting to set the system up. Less work in the garden is always a good thing.

Not much longer until I start the Love Potion 69 run too. I have been looking into scrog. I may do 4 scrog and 4 normal. Still planning.
 
One thing I dont like is how the roots look all tangled....should I even attempt to untangle or let them be?

What I was thinking is doing a 2 plant soil and 2 plant dwc in scrog ( would be my first attempt). I have done a SOG though before so kind of the same thing to an extent. I figured the SCROG grow would give great comparisons for soil and DWC and it would also allow for some really nice photos for the person I am testing them for.

When the plant first started, I was checking the roots daily to watch how they grow. It is nuts how fast they grew out too. What I was thinking is if the roots ball up, that water and nutrients wont flow freely through the ball...if that makes any sense.

I would put them on a 6 in platform so I can pop the top and remove the bucket without moving the top.

....and that is exactly what I am doing. Just trying to fill the crannies in my brain with everything I can.

Everything coming along just nicely. I have noticed my PPM level dropping along with the water level faster then usual. According to the bible, I am in a perfect condition. The feed schedule calls for one more increase in feed until it levels out and drops off over the next handful of weeks. I am flipping her a little earlier then I planned but that's because I didnt think she would grow as fast as she did. Remember, at one point she was behind all of them. I am going to skip the feed for the soil GG#4 this week. I believe she has a slight N tox but its slight. This is where the fun part of the grow happens.....transition to flower and watch buds grow.

Thank you. I appreciate it. I don't think I would be doing as well as i am if I didn't have the group that's following along helping however they can.
