My First Grow

My day is going wonderful! Just did my night check and boy she’s loving the rain and gloom because I’ve noticed her fattening up her buds the past week. I’m fascinated daily by the way my plant grows.
Me too! It's also my first year growing and I have learned more this year then I ever thought possible. I didn't know people put so much work into their craft it's like art the way each grower has their own techniques and methods every plant is different and every grow we learn more. It's really beautiful when you think of it like that. It's why it was important for me to do my own research and ask others their informed questions based off experience. But at the end of the day every decision I make is mine and nobody can tell me I'm doing it wrong because I'm doing it my way! 😀

What a beautiful evening! Just did my night check and when I came inside, I could smell the plant on me just from touching her branches. Goodness I’m lucky. Here’s some night time pics. She’s so pretty and stinky

I wouldn't take pictures at night the plants are very sensitive to light a few photos should be fine but I'm just letting you know light will stress them out if they budding.

Thank you for the reminder. It was just a few shots. Nothing serious. Duh. What a rookie move hahhah. #rookiemistake

Hey Jenni!,
Plants looking gorgeous!
You are absolutely smashing it for your first grow, I'm looking forward to following along from the start for your next grow :Namaste:

Just a side note, I’m not privy to the type. Idk if she is indica or sativa or what strain she is
Those very thin leaves are tell tale signs of sativa, or at least a heavy sativa-leaning hybrid. They're known for a more uplifting high, as opposed to the heavier body stone of an indica.

While securing the heavy water logged branches, I found 3 seeds !! Is it worth saving? What do you think? I didn’t know females had seeds 😊
Your's is not a hermaphrodite. A hermie will have both female and male flowers from very early on. But even an all female plant can try to self-seed late in the grow if not pollinated naturally, and can form the banana type flowers that can be easy to miss.

Those types of seeds are typically all female but many growers are like Bill in that they'll crush those seeds. And those seeds are different from those created by reversing a female plant for seeds. Those are all female seeds since there were no male genetics used in their creation.

At least that's my understanding, but a breeder would be a better source to explain the differences.

Morning photo shoot ( no more evening pics as it’s stressful for the plant) happy growing everyone

It looks like you have awhile to go before harvest! Once the hairs turn amber and start to curl I'd start to inspect the tricomes and once it's too your liking you can harvest whenever you want. I want a more couch lock high so I'm going to wait until 33% amber at least.

She's looking healthy! And you said she has a lemon scent? I bet that's nice 😀
She’s got a slight lemon 🍋 smell and 🌲 piney smell. Her branches are so sticky and stinky. I wouldn’t dare touch her pretty buds. I’m too scared to ruin trichomes and sugar leaves 🍃 hopefully I’m doing something right because she’s still growing 😉

So it's got the terpenes of lemonene, or lemon grass and pinene that's good! Pinene helps people with respiratory problems :) lemonene is a very euphoric high more chill so you could end up with some killer smooth bud! Just make sure you flush your plants so you get that clean white ash.
