Mono's 600 Watt HPS Soil Grow 2013

So the perlite arrived today along with the sticky traps so going to have another bash with the iron tomorrow and steam the hell out of the damn fungus gnats. I will follow that up with perlite on all pots of every plant in the house and sticky traps in both tents! Hopefully that will get rid of the little b*******

Also went to look at a new house today, even more rural that the one I'm in at the moment, and has an extra bedroom so hopping to convert that into a dedicated grow room if the wife will comply.

Will be able to give more regular updates now internet is sorted, and plenty more of the all important pics!

i use diatomaceous earth top dressed on the soil to stop and prevent insects. it acts as a barrier of fine sharp edges to kill the insects as they move through it. you can get this from a feed store.

That's a treat, hopping for a half ounce a plant would be decent especially with weed costing £15 a gram up here! Anything over that and I will be more than happy.

11 ounces from a 400w, never know I may do better than the half ounce a plant :)

That's a good idea, I might have to look at preventing the insects from becoming a problem in the first place on my next grow!
