Mono's 600 Watt HPS Soil Grow 2013

Here is another pic of the clone, plenty of nodes now.

I think I might try and clone from her at the end of next week, give her a week to recover then switch her to 12 / 12

So everything is coming along fantastically, don't seem to be seeing very many gnats flying around at all so a combination of the steam and perlite seem to be doing the trick.

The plants in the flowering tent have taken very well to the increased nute strength so I think I might settle them at what they are getting which is 7.5ml / liter with 1.5ml/ liter of pk 13/14 every second watering.

Oh, and the little Super Iced Grapefruit seems to like the taste of the canna terra vega :)

Hmm, I need to have a think :hmmmm:

Since the weather is slowly getting warmer as we move further into spring, the temps in the grow tent are beginning to rise. I can keep them between 23.5 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius at the moment by keeping the bedroom windows fairly wide open.

Unfortunately I will not be able to sustain this as we begin to move (hopefully) into summer. So guys I could use some :helpsmilie: to answer a few questions.

1. How high would the temps have to come, at canopy level, to cause stress to the plants or lower yield?

2. Is there any things I can do on the CHEAP to lower the temps (rather than running lights during the night)

3. Is it worth bothering with a CHEAP fix or just suck it up and sort it out?

4. If it's better to sort it out properly, what's the best way?

:thanks:

:Namaste: Mono.

Thanks mono, IMHO plants go into flower faster having the light cycle cut in half rather than just by a third. I don't have to think about lights and timers and that frees my brain cell up to think of other lovely nonsense!......LOL

never thought of it in that sense, always just thought of it as saving 6 hours worth of electricity haha! I agree though, 24/0 would be much simpler. Would it cause any stress to the vegging plants to just switch the time on the timer to 24/0?
