Momma's Kitchen Serving: My Bloody Valentines

So I took the liberty of reaching out to tropical seeds. I wanted to know more information on the phenotypes of my Red Afro.
Here is the response I got. They were super kind, super helpful, prompt on their response to me, overall I'm so pleased with this company I will be buying more seeds from them.

Hi there
Thank you a lot for contact us. Really appreciate all your support and your questions.
First of all, Red Afro is a cross of two Landraces strains. This makes the genoplastic variety that it can present is superior to other more domesticated cases. Regarding this case, an Afrokush mother was used that presented 50% of each parent (Swaziland / Pakistan), had purple touches and a rather citric aroma with notes of humid forest. As a male, our super famous Pakistan Chitral Kush 2006 mother was used, selected for her intense purple color from the beginning of flowering. This selection of PCK has great resistance to molds and adverse weather conditions, and its aroma is floral, red fruits, humid forest. The result is a backcross to the PCK side.

Regarding the phenotypes it shows, the most common is totally purple and even though it is taller or more robust in structure, they tend to end up very similar in flowering time and similar aromas.

Other one can also have less purple color, only some shades in the flowers, it is usually a tall-structured plant, this would be a phenotype more similar to the Afrokush mother, maybe it shows approximately 25%.

And finally and the rarest phenotype, it would be the greener phenotype, it shows very interesting intense citrus aromas, it lasts longer in flowering because it does not stop taking flowers and flowers, some specific case has been a great producer. It doesn't end up being a Swaziland, but it is a great hybrid with that wilder side.I hope this can help you a lot, but in any case if you need anything more please only let me know. Please feel free to advertise any of the places with the grow diary here. We would love to see it!Thank you again and have a great day!
