Momma's Kitchen Serving: My Bloody Valentines

How are the people there with the election?

Looking on in disbelief how fanatical people can be over a particular candidate. Certainly some extreme ideas being thrown around on social media if a certain candidate doesn’t win.

All that makes my head hurt and I prefer to avoid the negativity. I hope you have a wonderful day momma! Your garden is such a inspiration and the amount of love put into the plants shows in volumes!

There are heat recovery ventilators (HRV’s) used in the HVAC industry, they are available for whole home applications though. Are you asking for one room in particular? A simple exhaust fan and supply fan set up will do the same thing for a smaller space, without the transfer of heat from the exhaust to the supply that the HRV’s provide.

I'll explain my question why I'm asking. Thinking about direct airflow from outside. Like an intake but we have such moisture here I don't want that directly blowing into the room. Right now it is set up to draw from another room (which has ventilation) but is far away and I feel the air gets stale in there. Like not enough fresh air. So I want to draw from outside directly to the room. Willing to open structure to make it happen. I just want to find away to remove the moisture. Would a filter work?

We’re talking your grow room, right? Not a drying room?

What is your typical relative humidity outside? It sounds like it may be best to set up your dehumidifier in the room and bring in the outdoor air like you were saying. Any room you’re bringing air into also needs to allow air out to avoid an air lock. Either passive openings to allow air to escape, or exhaust it out with a fan (and carbon filter if you’re worried about smell).

I hope that makes sense, and not hindered instead of helped!

What are the dimensions of your room?

I agree with DutchinAB. I use a dehumidifier in the drying room) and it works great. Makes the most sense to me. Hope you get it worked out. Happy Smokin'

air dryers for bringing outside air into the rooms but removing any dampness
Hi Momma,
what you are describing is a dehumidifier. Air dryers are more for compressed air systems, to prevent moisture build up in the pipes.

Okay thanks guys. I do have a dehumidifier is used in the greenhouse. Living on the west coast we get so much moisture I was nervous about direct moisture in the bud & veg room.
Drying room is in a separate room.
Sorry, seems like an odd question I guess. I thought there was more to it to pull directly outside.

Bud room is 10x12
Veg 9x10

I have 4 lights in the bud room. 2 in veg room.

I am going to add another 1 or 2 lights to bud room.
How many do u think I need to make it perfect?

Thanks for your help

Hi momma

As you are pulling fresh air in from the outside would a dehumidifier that is rated for the square footage in the room work?

I’m constantly pulling cool air (humid) from outside my house into my little grow tent but I have my dehumidifier in the tent running constantly. The heat from the ballasts on my lights also help dissipate the extra humidity coming in with the fresh air.

It’s been a hot muggy year even up at my elevation on island. I’m still waiting for the cooler temps so my plants inside will be much happier.

Hi SNS @Sierra Natural Science

I will be looking at your products in the upcoming days. I read some reviews and it sounds amazing.

Question: Do you have something you would recommend for spider mites? Gnats? Veg & flower. Do you have any samples?
I could log my experience in my journals♥️♥️♥️

I just purchased PM stuff but I read yours smells great, lavender?

Lastly but most importantly, thank you
For being an ongoing, committed sponsor to 420 Mag & the family.

I am just starting this journal and would love to try product that would benefit this run. Do you send ever send out copies of a chart? I saw others post on product vs bugs/issues?
That looked handy.

Big Thank you!!!

Yesterday I up potted RA 1 & 2 to 3 gallon. Roots were strong and wrapped around the bottom. Super healthy! I'm not sure if I should just clone a few of them or all of the plant? Or just grow them out for the grow as a larger plant.
What would you like to see? I'm open to either♥️
