Lmao yeah pretty much. It's if I remember right it's like face feet idk. I can't remember them. It's crazy how many they had H means something I think W was water. But they had another symbol for it. It's crazy sht. Never could remember all of it. Like square ft of land was one F. Runoff was another symbol Idk. It was 2012 and I was 42 back then. .didn't want go back to college and they made me learn all that crap barely passed it.
I had to go back to college the forth time to learn energy technologies. And AG was one had to pass along with Petrology & Mineralogy

Up until a year ago i knew nothing at all about growing and it would appear by the state of the plants that i still know nothing
The only thing I've ever grown up to that point was my hair and nails.

I seen same guy telling him to do Espon salt too. I just went over on his journal his leaves are same dam way. Shame. Too he alot further than u are. He in flowering soon to be harvest soon.
Hell we used that stuff to kill stumps of trees so want grow back.. it blocks alot chems to the plant that it needs to live sulfur is horrible to plants trees grass u name it.

Like I mentioned earlier I can't put any blame on Felipe or any other member who has given me advice as my plants were looking poor before I used anything like Epsom etc. If anything, this is purely down to my own inexperience but I understand what your saying that not all advice can be good advice but what I will say about Felipe and bluter, both are very experienced growers and both have helped me in the past and many other members
That's fine bro. I completely understand. It happens. Sometime no matter what u do. Just part of these plants . If was easy everyone would do it. I'm just a person it's my plant not there's. And if it's good or bad info still my plant at end of the day. Making decisions is part of it . But trust me I been here on ur journal shaking my head and shaking it . Till I couldn't take it no more. Lmao. And I would want anyone to speak up if they see something on mine. Regardless . Ur fine bro. They are too. I know of them . They are good growers. But they learned also.. it's not ur fault .not Thiers. It's just a hard thing to regulate and get right first time u do it. Hell farmers tried it back in the day many many years and it was hell on them. We did it on farm when I was little. And it killed 60 something acres. Trying to get that right first time. Impossible. Or dam lucky needs to go to casino lucky sht. Why I said to u I didn't think u should. Do more research.. and i would not try it . Now hyrdo hard enough. One slip and sht dies anyway. My college teacher killed 40 tomatoes plants doing sht by mistake. It happens. We learn we do it again till we get sht right I already had one die from WD-40 I let over spray hit few leaves. Killed sht out of it
I guess what I'm saying it's so hard regulate that crap so much down to the milligram for one pacific plant is ok. But another plant might be to much and hurt it . It's just hard to do. Is all. They might have done it many many times. Idk. But u have to get that percis like computer grams perfect .

I hear you. I understand what you were getting at. Whats good for one plant might not be good for another, all plants react differently, some might need more or less than another, its not a one size fits all approach. Experienced growers will know just by looking at their plants if something is wrong and can quickly rectify it whereas inexperienced growers like myself might not.

Your correct, i fed the plants every second day and have never flushed. Again my mistake as I didn't know it was necessary.
Can I ask what a water side is ? Is it the same thing as ffw where instead of feeding with nutrients I basicly just give it pH water.
yes. every fourth watering or so.
edit : feed / feed / feed / water.
if you run the calmag with the nutes start with a half dose and watch. since you're on tap there's gonna be some present already. you'll have to feel out what a proper dose would be for your water.

It would, but not on the grow, as Epsom salt is 100% magnesium sulphate, not sodium phosphate which is regular salt.
For the record, my leaves are recovering atm, except for the necrotic parts ofc. I went light on the Epsom, and it does raise the EC by quite a bit, so you are running higher EC for a while and need to make sure you keep the rest in balance as well I guess. I just kept adding nutes with my water.
Journal in question is my Super Silver Haze one.
I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure ffff means feed, feed, feed, feed. Or fwfw is feed, water, feed, water.

Ironically I originally put feed feed feed water and then edited it as thought it might have been flush lol. My bad.
As far as I'm aware the concentration of Ca and Mg is much lower where I am as the waters soft. As for as exactly how much is in the water I do not know.
I'm guessing the only way to really tell how much calmag i need would be to pay attention to the plants and see how they react ?

I was just about to post some pics up. I'm not 100% sure since I'm kind of colour blind so can't see shades of certain colours properly but the plants are possibly getting a little greener (darker) but not 100% .

Ok, so the last feeding the plants got was 2 days ago, they were fed the suggested amount of nutrients, Ca/Mg by felipe. Also since I am growing passive hydro it was suggested by bluter that I should always do a feed something like ffw - fffw so i have fed them nothing but pH water today at a pH of 5.8.
After speaking with bluter it is more than likely the issue with my plants is due to my inexperience and the fact I have never done a water side or flushed my plants and have just been feeding them every couple of days with AN nutrients since they germinated, i also made a huge mistake of not supplimenting their feeds with cal/mag.
I gave the plants around 3..5 - 4 litres each and stopped the run off for 10 minutes before draining.
I have h202 coming in the post and once I receive this I will flush my plants and reset their feeds to see it this will help any issues.
Out of all 3 plants the one that is the smallest has always been the one that looked the worst, although all three have had their problems.
I will leave it up to other more experienced growers to decide if the plants have shown any change in colour and if the plants are looking healthier or not.
