Mechanic's Log: WW, AK-47, FFof Soil, Screw-In LEDs

Ok I feel like I have been Mis understood here.

If you look at my grows, you will clearly see I start in a small container, something similar to a solo cup.

Then transplant to a bigger container.

Then into my 5 gal pots.

Like I said before, I’m all for gradually up potting.

But in your circumstance, of having a plant in a solo cup for 10+ weeks. Lol 30” tall plants in a pot the width no wider then a paint can

In my opinion, those plants are, far ready for a 5 gal pot. Regardless of wanting to control your root system.

They would have thanked you is all I was saying.

But like you said, to each their own!

I wasn’t referring specifically to you @Backlipslide . And I agree, no need to continue. My 17” tall plants will thank me either way.

So... I definitely tinker around too much. Haha.

I was happy with how the ladies were looking when I got home from work, so, I screwed in the 2 bulbs at the very center of the “grid” making it 10 out of 22 on the SIL index.

And about 2 hours later it looked like they were responding to the light so I added 2 more... but made a slightly different pattern on the grid. I’ll go back down to 8 bulbs before bed tonight.

Look at em now... hard to see in the pictures but they are perking up. Prayers tomorrow.?

So after the hang dry... when I trimmed the buds off the stems, I cut down the biggest colas into individual nugs. I wanted to lessen the chance of mold or anything during the final dry and for the cure. I did the same to the WW.

So the final yield if you didn’t already add it up.

AK-47 from the Screw in LED tent..... 91.7 grams.
Or just a little over 3 ounces.

Not all of the buds are perfectly rock hard but I did get a good amount of solid nugs honestly. I did have some of the lesser quality fluff on the scale but it couldn’t have added up to a whole lot.

Also I quick dried a whole main cola that I cut up after the initial hang dry and that was not added to this report.

I was hoping for at least 2 ounces from each plant so I’m pretty happy.

...82 grams on the money. About an eighth shy of 3 ounces.

I love this strain... so many trics and colors, nice tight budding, good strong buzz with noticeable body high and relaxation. Ahhhh.


I’m so happy to have WW in my jars again.

Thank you guys... I’m definitely still in burp mode with the WW#1 and WW#3.

The AK is done with that tho, I let her dry too fast, maybe a couple more days on the WW#2 but she dried a little fast also. Im not complaining cuz, they didn’t get crispy and whatnot they still dried pretty evenly. Just a little fast.

I’m trying to keep the drying as slow as I can for WW#1 and 3. I can’t wait to get the weight of those 2...

WW#1 Round 2 Day #6.

Temp was 79f and 45% humidity this morning. I turned my exhaust fan almost all the way down last night and I’d leave it like that but they need water soon for sure, the pots are pretty light. (***edit. So I turned the exhaust fan up a little bit to get the temps down to 75 hopefully)
My daughter has a dentist appointment today so they have to wait for a drink till after that.

Tinkering around like always.

I upped the bulb count to ten bulbs for 2 hours and now it will be at twelve for awhile. I’m busy tomorrow morning so I’ll probably leave it at ten before bed tonight.

And since I’ll be busy in the morning idk when I’m going to water these babies. I just checked the pots and they still need some time before a good watering. So i either have to water late tonight, super early tomorrow morning, or risk it till I get home from my errands. I’ll check em later tonight.

Here’s some pics. And a view thru my tent window that I hardly use. It’s has been open all day today tho. Kinda nice walking by and looking inside at times.

I moved the plants around again. Haha.

WW#1-Round 2 Day #7

Hello community...

Ive been home for some time now. Got a bunch of cleaning done, still need to vacuum as you’ll see in the pic with my cat, and I took some pics of the ladies of course.

...Heres what I didn’t get to post last night...

The ladies received a good watering consisting of Calmag+ and Liquid Karma at 5ml per gallon each. I use a 5 gallon Depot bucket with an air pump AND a fountain water pump to keep everything mixed up properly. This really helps with certain organic nutrients that contain a small amount of sediment which will, of course, settle to the bottom of the bucket without the fountain pump. (I’m my case anyway)

So I made a 2 gallon batch and slowly watered the ladies with about 12 oz of water each and let them soak for awhile.

While they were soaking I added 5ml of Age Old grow to the remaining nutrient mix. After about 30 minutes I watered slowly 2 more times till I saw a little bit of run off in my fancy catch bags. (My catch trays need to be cleaned before I use them again. Will do soon.)

Today’s temps in the tent are 79 to 81 currently and 49ish% humidity. Exhaust fan at about 50% 12 bulbs running. (...144 watts or 20.2 watts per square foot)

House temp is about 77.

The weather is pretty nice outside today so I’m not running any A/C in the house or the one in my bedroom that I never told you guys I set up. My bad. It’s pretty ugly so I probably won’t post about it. (The “portable window unit” I mentioned months ago)

Haha... yeah. I’ve actually thought about it... never done any research on the subject tho.

I haven’t seen him go after any MJ plant leafs yet... he just wants to lay underneath them. I won’t ever trust him tho. He’s a super cool cat but you never know with em.
