Mcloadie's Second Grow Journal

The aerocloner ran all night....no leaks. After the current run, I'm going to make a new lid to accommodate 2 baskets, and I'm gonna run two plants thru harvest with it. I need to make the 1-7/8 holes for the pucks and it's ready for service.

Nice shit man how much did the cloner cost to make end all???

(btw i got my grow journal started on my 2 deadhead og's and there huge as hell atm. 3ft and still veging ; P check it out man)

Hey McL, how does that light compare to LEDs in terms of temps? Have you any experience with LEDs to compare to? I read the link Kushmeister posted, so now I get what they are (new and improved flourescents IMHO). The website makes a convincing argument, but so do the LED sites.

Those look to be less expensive than LEDs with similar, or improved, life expectancy. If the heat output is similar, these may be a much better alternative to LEDs.

If your talking about his EFDL lighight he has, that mofo is bad ass compared to HIDs fo sho, there is lil to no heat, lifespan of light is 80% longer, and the spectum is alot better too!

If you have the money, geting a EFDL is pro, example.... a 400w efdl is the equivalent of a 1000w MH or HPS, and doesnt use anywhere near same amount of power.

what it do? im gonna have some catching up to do.

LOL watch the video, that gives good info. but basics is there is a magnet around the florescent which ahs special gasses inside. The electricity energizes the magnet and it in turn moves the gases. Thing that makes it diffrent/better then CFL and Flourescents is that is completly closed system and doesnt have connector pins like flourescent bulbs, which leaks out gasses and lifespan of lights drop quicker. and im pretty sure the magnet gets warm but the lightbulb its self is just warm not burning hot like a HID

Bro, put your link at the bottom of your posts so when you post I can click on it, I'll figure the cost of the areocloner, a list of materials, and the instructions are in my journal....peace, if i have to search for your journal I will, just takes me awhile...LOL

Grow Lights, How Tesla's EFDL Works! - YouTube

I know bro, the company owner sent me an email the other day to be on the lookout for the new"pontoon", it is attached to the light, comes on before and after light is off and emits LED light that evokes a response from the plants, this guy is smart, and IMHO, these are the best lights produced currently!

I got THCreamer, for the coffee, :cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::Hookah:

You're a f***ing genius! :high-five: Maybe I'll make some Bhang this weekend!

Jlt, thanks for that link.

McLoadie, is that the brand you're using? That's the same brand's site I was looking at before. I'm really liking these lights more and more, but it's hard to tell which is truth and which is marketing. Also it's hard to interpret "low heat". Ideally, I'd like to hear form someone that has observed both kinds of light and can provide their assessment of the relative heat output for both types of lights.

do I need to go to facebook to see the video? if so I dont do fb, dont like their policies.

sorry Mc would like to see it though.anyway salutations too you on this fine freakin snowy SPRING day:)

The ladies are recovering nicely!

The mothers need attention, and I need to improve my technique of harvesting cuts. Taking cuts to improve production on mother plants.

Last ditch cut taken too far into flower, this, and the one in the background are the only remnants of the yeti that will possibly allow me to save this cross. The plant gave me one seed! 4 months time on the line, I can save it....no prob.

The mexikush practice plant has been begging nutes for a week, so, I let her have it, full dose bloom food, 3 days later she's STILL begging, popped her again....full dose bloom food. I don't recommend to anyone to do this kind of treatment, you have to know your strain, and know your nutrients, if the treatment was to fail, It would set the plant back a week...minimum....and the fact that it's in flower..........who knows how it would affect yield.

well it stopped snowing all of a sudden and now there isnt a cloud in the sky. but the temps dropped 8 degrees sense I got up.
first full day of spring and its 10 degrees out who woulda thunkit
