Hey McL, how does that light compare to LEDs in terms of temps? Have you any experience with LEDs to compare to? I read the link Kushmeister posted, so now I get what they are (new and improved flourescents IMHO). The website makes a convincing argument, but so do the LED sites. :winkyface:

Those look to be less expensive than LEDs with similar, or improved, life expectancy. If the heat output is similar, these may be a much better alternative to LEDs.

Good morning sir, and sirs. What more could a doting father as for. This is an example of open center training, or OCT, ( you can make up names for shit as you go, even though it's been a proven technique for thousands of years)in which the center of the plant is left open for light exposure. So much is already known about growing, and farming...EVERYTHING! If we applied what we ALREADY know, we can experience success in huge ways. Are we gonna change anything growing a tomato plant upside down? I think not, that's the problem with the world today, everything is being done upside down, the facts aren't observed, only the notions of those in power to further their agendas.........if I put my mind to it, I could make venereal disease look attractive.

fish cake would take the easy way out and see what Mc does. as he would feel real bad if something fish cake said made someone's plants sick or die:)

Oh no, Fishy has been observed applying sound fundamentals and technique, and we keep each other on our toes. Fishys opinions and skills are highly valued, and some people put a great amount of confidence in them, and years of life experience which equates to wisdom.
