you know I have come up with a part of growing that nobody seems to mention. and this is directed to the new growers out there in :420:land.
one of the most important bits of info that may ever leave this keyboard and I need to say it here so all you noobies will get it first hand.

Thank you bro, I've taught in a few different scenarios in my life and I really enjoy seeing success! J paul getty stated that he didn't base his success on his wealth, or accomplishments, but on the success of those he taught and mentored. I took alot of stock in that, his nephew lived 20 miles from me in cali...never met him.

oh yeah I was going to say, start by getting a 3or4month supply of smoke that way you wont get all antsy and harvest before its ready:)

Ok, back to mmj. hey mcloadie!! How's your mexikush babies coming along?
Side note I ordered some of that recommended PM ammunition brotha. Been keeping an eye out on the plants but havent seen anything jump out yet! Wanted to stop by your journal before I got off for awhile!

Right on bro, check that dudes website out, I've emailed him and he is a TRIP.....a real dude, doin what he says he's doin, for the reasons he says he's doin em. And close to my old home town! He answered my email.....and confirmed what I suspected. I only use a coupla things that he didn't make! I wanna expand to a vegetable garden this year and try it all there.

Oh how well I am learning that lesson right now. Trying to stretch my stash another few weeks. Got some crappy airy stuff from the culled hermies, and one early, but nice, bud broke off last week, so that is drying/curing. Then there are the edibles. None of it's great quality or potency, but it's helping make my supply last a little longer. I'm gonna have to research ways to speed up cure with minimal impact on quality, or my trim parties are gonna suuuuuuuck :blalol:

I have been reading a lot about water curing. supposedly after the WC and drying your stash is cured and ready for storage. now if that's true that would cut a week or so off a good regular cure

I know that some strains are way more nice to smoke with no cure than others...LOL.....I have an ounce comin up on thirty days, and at 60 it's fn exotic. The indicas seem to cure faster to me, and dry slower...LOL. I just jarred one this morning that took like nine days to dry at 50% Rh!

It may affect flavor, and I hear that some settling of contents may occur, but I hear it's smooth as hell, and since it's smaller, it's more dense......ergo.....more potenent. Scared to try....I like what my method is givin me....which is no method really, I hang it til its dry, and smoke it when the last batch is gone. I'm tryin like heck to get ahead a little so I can let it cure longer, I'm into shaping too...makin the bud look like I want it to, I'll put up some pics soon, I dont trim the sugar leaves off the indica either, I could cut them off and make some kinda concoction with em, or I can leave em on the bud, and smoke em sooner, they give the rolling mixture tooth too, the shits so chewy and gooey it dosen't want to burn real even sometimes, I cut a bud with sizzorz, while watchin tv, look down and the whole bud is stuck to the sizzors. When the bud is in the perfect Rh I like, it won't go thru the grinder, like someone tried to put bubblegum in it.
 
I am not really into WC either but Rolypoly did hers and was having troubles with the smoke so I started looking for reasons and read way more than I needed too:) like everything else if it worked before than I like it:) but still have a open mind.
and that was her problem not being able to keep her doob lit:)

I like mine to burn like a fine seegar, and when I put it down I want it to go out, I've studied the shit out of it and I'm gettin the kinda results they say are desirable.
