Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

:circle-of-love:hi Brian, the airline doesn't allow the device with batteries, so we don't put it inside in case any trouble.:Namaste:
it does work without the remote but it turns on at 100 and just stays on so you'll have to get a timer. i didt have batteries when i first got the light and it turned on and my Kill-a-Watt showed it was pulling 375 watts

:circle-of-love: Hi CatfishKnight, yes it works like this... one remote controller will control several lights together, so growers will risk to mix the controllers. :Namaste: In your case, if you want to control them seperately, you can have a try by unscrewing the signal receiver on the back of the lamp after adjusting one light and then setting up the next one. :high-five:
Or simply design your lights with dip switches to change the frequency of the transmitter in the remote and the frequency of the receiver in the light. Pair each remote /light setting differently to control each light individually or set all remotes and lights the same to control them as a group.

Good old American ingenuity, where would the world be with out it? :)

Here is an example of setting dip switch combos with ceiling fans

Sara, are you still here?

It's about my order 10991.

Have recieved the dhl tracking number last week.
After 5 days dhl did not recieve the package at there facility.

If you don't send the package to dhl, how can they send it to me?

If i recieve no support on this matter i see no other way than to start a paypal claim to get my money back.

Hi trwhite, we will ship from China to Turkey and email has received. :circle-of-love:
Hi @SmokeSara
I dont know English
I use google translation

for growing flowers
Which is your best 2015 model light

Do you send it to Turkey

Thank you

:circle-of-love:hi CareeHigh, 12"~18" is recommended. :Namaste:
How far do you keep your Mars LED lights from your plants during flower stage? I have the older 300w and 2.3x2.3x5.3 grow space. Both plants are currently close to two feet in 3 gallon pots. The light sits 18-19 inches above the plants with 2-4 more inches to raise the LED to the top. What do you recommend?

:circle-of-love: The remote controller is able to control the lights. If you have 50pcs lights in one warehouse, you don't need to control them seperately with 50pcs remote controller, just one will do. :high-five:
Do the remotes and light receivers have DIP switches that can configure the codes or are you saying they are all on the same frequency and all lights have to be set the same? you build a warehouse , order 50 lights and they all have to operate on the same set up?

Haha, I am thinking about this, but it may take long time to make Mars Pro II:circle-of-love:
This is the reason we only bought one of the new lights , think we will wait for version 2 :) before purchasing more .

I really think these new lights are more powerful than the Mars II and cover more area than they think they do , if they would just fix these remote issue :scratchinghead:

:circle-of-love: Hi LED Grow, sorry about this. I will check and send you a pm.

Ok. :) LOL. What's wrong with me thinking you may have reason to have control over separate groups of lights in different stages of plant development? My bad. :)

Sara,
Imagine someone using multiple PRO lights all in the same room, but had each light in it's own tent. The purpose being to have a large, flexible perpetual system. Some may be running 18/6, some maybe 12/12. All with staggered, different timing. One light in one tent needs to be programed for 12am-12pm, another light in another tent right next to the first needs to be programed for 2am-2pm....etc etc. This is why different or selectable remote channels are needed. For those that don't want to run them all together with the all the same programming. It's cool that all lights can be programmed from one remote. Now MH just needs to make them act as individuals even when there are multiples.

No dip switches. 1 remote will control 50 led units...

Ok thanks Sara. That is what Ruby told me too. I even marked my Remotes and led units #1 to #3 so I would know which remote went with what unit... Which means MarsPro will lose a lot of sales due to that... Growers want to be able to contol their individual lights easily not a work around with removing the receiver. Still bummed that we can't control them individually..

Heirloom hit the nail on the head with that statement right there. Many run perpetual grows with 2 or 3 tents and your flower tent needs a different light schedule than your veg tent which is impossible with the Mars Pro's current configuration

I think i have a problem here.

Did order 2 mars 2 700w lights more that a week ago.
Recieved the tracking number for my package 5 days ago.

When i try to see where my package is on the dhl site,
i get this message:

(Not found): No result found for your DHL query. Please try again.

So i contacted support from the mars-hydro site to ask them to look into my order
and also check the tracking number they provided me.
I also mentioned that if i don't recieve the lights that i would like that they send me my money back.

And to contact me with any updates as soon as possible.

below is a copy of the message i recieved back from MH support just a few min. ago:

here is our return policy if you don't want the lights. Please check here Return Policy | Mars Hydro
As long as your lights meet the conditions, we will refund you the money.

What is wrong with this message???

No response to my question about checking my order or tracking details.

And..... for me to see my money back, i have to first send the lights back to them???
How can i send the lights back if i did not recieved them in the first place???

This is not acceptable at all in my books! ! !

CatFish did you try setting one light and then removing the receiver, will it stay set and running with the receiver removed? If so screw the receiver in the next light and set it and remove the receiver again, do the same to the third light and remove the receiver. If you want to alter a light screw the receiver in and set it and forget it, would this maybe work?

I found this on you tube maybe explains more

Did you respond to Mars-hydro site with an email or a phone call?
Chances are if you sent an email, no one actually looked at it, a machine merely looked for key words and answered accordingly. Isn't technology great. I would suggest a phone call and keep calling until you get an actual human being. Another option you may have to resort to is, if you paid for them with a credit card, file a dispute with your card in order to get stop payment. Funny how a company will be more attentive to your needs if you stop payment on them. I really miss the old days when you actually handed someone cash and they handed you the product you wanted. Oh well, to the future and beyond!

Best of luck to you.

Did send a email from the MH site.

The least you would expect is that the support team actually read the clients messages and
respond to the questions clients have about there order or about the products they sell.
