Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Ahh the classic Christmas tree, beautiful but impractical. You could also try super cropping and get everything bent flat, I would do that after you top once though.

That's also an option on the possibilities list.

To make this relevant to the topic, I'm thinking about getting 3 Mars II 400s for the summer (indoors) grow, and figure shortening the height will facilitate penetration significantly. One per plant should be enough, I'd think.

I should hope so..........:thumb:

Thx Denise - Good to know - I think I will be going with the 3w's to start. Plan is to SOG and I think these will work just as well if not better at 2/3 the power

Hello B.I.D,
Did you ever get a LED light? I would love to follow and see the grow you did with the LED light you received.

I started a New LED grow light company and I believe my lights are equal to the best lights that are out on the market. I say equal too only because everyone has a little niche and not all LED liughts are made the same but performance wise everyone can not claim their lights will be better and produce better results than the next guy. So clearly their is a limit to the technology and the ir are certainly different grades from low end(classic) to high end Smart LED lights.

P.S. love the pictures you posted..absolutely beautiful cannabis plants you have grown!

My website is currently being developed and should be up and fully running within the next month or so.

Wrong thread, amigo.

LED's (the actual light, not the entire thing) do not generally respond well to dimming. There are some that are made for it but I would not take the chance that these ones are. If ya check where ever you buy household bulbs from, if they have LED globes they will have not suitable for dimmer circuits.

Just click edit on the post and go from there :)

hello mr dankydavid, best bet if you want to talk shop would be to do so in my journals, you need a post count of 50 to do pm messages, its not to hard to get to 50, or you can start a new thread ad invite me, however if you wish to sell your products on 420mag i highly recommend becoming a sponsor, its my understanding its well worth it and your products can be spoken about freely and gain the support of the community and staff, otherwise its viewed as spamming theres a rules section i highly recommend you check out heres the link

Gonna wait for Sara to get back to me as I don't want to do anything that will damage my warrenty, I have heard dimmer controllers can damage the lights so i will wait to hear from Sara directly I think.
I have currently solving the issue by raising the lights as close to ceiling as possible and installing a scrog. That way I can allow my plants about just under 3 feet of growing space until the get to close to the lights.
