Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Oh my... do you mind me asking why you would want to? :dreamy:

My 1200w will be too powerful to grow a tall plant like Dr grinspoons.
They must be kept 3-4 feet from plants and that dies not leave me much grow space.

Thinking back I should have got the 900, but I had planned to move to a slightly bigger space which ain't happening no more.

I'd I can dim then excellent, I'd not it just means growing shorter plants and using a scrog

Cool man, I love it here except for not being able to grow sativas outdoors. However you could grow some nice equatorial sativas there, any access to outdoor growing spot? And what is penalty if get caught?

I miss the NW rain forest! Been out of this game for quite awhile and was never "Much" into it prior so just learning the ropes down here. I do have 1 bud here though who has experience both indoor (Northern Lights) and outdoor (Super lemon and Mango Hazes)..... Getting NL Cuttings next week from him. No outdoor access for me.... 4 years in the Jungle was enough and I am back in the CITY now! Penalties - Kind of weird; They REALLY don't care socially so when a "bust" happens if is always Politically motivated..... But you could get Jail time but most likely just deported for non citizens.... or at least for the amount I am doing.

Without having to back read, because of their holiday ! Are no orders being taken for around a month ? I wouldn't know where else to get the 48x3. Seems I waited to long before pulling the trigger on a led light !

Huh? A month? Eeekkk! Sara has been great in answering my questions by mail then Nada 2 days ago - that must be it...........

This thread, and Sara's responses to the repeated questions of us "stoners" over and over has convinced me to sign up on the forum and purchase the 144x3watt Green Reflector Led. Customer service goes a long way, and she has been very helpful with all issues on this thread...I've read all 122 pages over the past 3 days. Wish I had found this thread sooner, as I ordered a Taotronics 240w 6 band as a Christmas present to myself. I'll keep it, but the Reflector Series from Topled seems a far better product and a better price....and did I mention the customer service? Happy Growing!

She posted some time ago that as of fri she would be on 2 weeks holiday for Chinese New Year..

Dang.... new to these boards and missed that. Hindsight now suggest what I perceived as being slightly pushy in the sales area was most likely her just trying to help me out :)

Is the shop closed down or just her?

/Thumbs up

Service goes a long way in my book too!

Damm she said that there were some models in the California warehouse and they would be shipping from there. Just to order from their site but someone said they were getting an error message from paypal when trying to order from the site so I'm not sure what is going on. I have never just ordered off the site as it makes me feel warm and fuzzy when I know Sara has it in her hands. I guess you could try and order from the site and if it lets you great. The shipping will let you know if it is one in the states already because the shipping will be free. If it is still in China it will try and charge for shipping. Now this is just what happened to me in the past so I don't know for sure if it is still that way. Sara will be back after the 1st and if you can wait without anything hurting your girls I would but that's just me.....

So does anybody know of a wAy to dim led lights?
Would ask Sara but Chinese New Year celebrations taking place

Why not use a dimmer or variable speed controller? Hook it up to a volt-watt-amp-kill-a watt meter and just dial it down to 900 Watts.

3w vs 5w mars 7-- watt draw is about 300 watts.

Reflector LED Grow Light 192x3w
LED Output Power: 192*3watt

Draw Power:350~400W

but you would get them closer to the plant. and need less heigh in your room... any post out there with a comparison, or any thoughts on the subject

Did you top/fim/train to keep em low or just let them grow?

Sadly, no. Next time I'm going to be going with 3 plants only and LSTing them into fairly short, wide footprints.

Here's what letting them do what they want looks like:

Ahh the classic Christmas tree, beautiful but impractical. You could also try super cropping and get everything bent flat, I would do that after you top once though.
