I love my Mars-Hydro tents. :peace:

:passitleft: High DrVoo... I have 2 of the Mars-Hydro tents and they are awesome... they are all metal connectors and I have no light leaks in the zipper... as most do... extremely easy to put together and you will love the quality... I'm sure Sara or whoever you are working with will be able to get a a great price with the number of lights you have ordered.... and I hope you let us see what you do with all this cause it is sounding like it is going to be amazing.....:circle-of-love:

I would be more than happy to try and help but I think King is down with his back and is not around as much right now.... Hopefully he will be healed and back with us very soon... He is greatly missed.... DrVoo if I can help you in any way please just pop over to my journal and post it up... My journal is an open journal and all I ask it that you be respectful of all and no real bad language and if I can't answer your questions I know some of the smart folks that travel through my journal will be able to help ya out..:circle-of-love:

Thank you very much my friend. You can always expect from me nice behaviour, i am doing bizz around 18 years and know very good, that bad visit card you can get in 5 min and it will cost you years to improve that. So no need to worry, i am also very spiritual person. I am running seed archive with more than 700 strains from aprox. 40 seed companies. Also doing herb shop, selling grow equipment, supervising hemp research on one czech univerzity, selling seed to bulgary univerzity, izrael state growers, etc...But LEDs i am at the start, so any info is highly welcomed. Right now i am testing lights from several manufacturers and I really like Mars Hydro. Not only products but customer service, support of grower community, i like this way. Hope they will still improve quallity, no matter of price. Good product always finds its buyer and with cannopy, i can see after my years in this bizz, its more easy to sell good expensive product than cheap shit....so when i heard about Cree in Mars Hydro, i was very very happy.....Maybe try to think about Phillips rebel led or similar powerfull .....

Sara,
havent you thought about any LED bars ? I am buying them at your competitor from Shenzen, but their transport is crazy expensive. Buying there also COB Lights 1x200w, 2x200w, 4x200w, those are also very good sellers. Is there any chance you can get them for me also ? I like doing bizz with your company, so why not spread our portfolio ?

And Dennis, Supergroomer and several others - Be sure i studied your journals in details, you were the main reason i started with Mars Hydro .-))) SOOOOOOOO THANK YOU GUYS

Dr I have tried 2 other brands of lights but have not ever grown under anything but LED so I can't compare it to any other type of growing but of the 3 brands I have tested I love my Mars-Hydro's and I believe they out perform the others by far and for the money IMO they cannot be beat..... My journal should be taking off here very soon as I am moving everybody into the 4'x4' tent under my new 144x5w reflector and 2 Mars II 400's.... Hopefully I will have this all done by tomorrow and I will post up pics on my journal......:circle-of-love:

Problem on my side is, i cannost grow freely like you. In my country growing without permission is prohibited and nobody till now gets the permition. OF course i am growing, but have to be really carefull when doing it home. And i can grow at the univerzity, but it has strict rules, i am doing more advisor there and selling them seeds, soil, nutes, lights, ets. Right now uni grow room is filled at maximum. They should get more place in near future so we would like to start there also with LEDs and than compare final concentration of cannabinoids under HPS and LEDs in same conditions. Half of lights i ordered is for my customers in my grow shop. Second half will be for my testing (1x Sun Series, 1xreflector 144x5, 1xMARS II 700w) and later sale. Hope to finish this year my new house, so one room will be only for this. I grew under HPS for almost 15 years, so LEDs is some fresh air and i am looking forward to that. I cannot wait to see results on my own eyes, but i am afraid, i will not be able to start before september......

This week i also should get first batch of REMO Nutrients, cannot wait to put them in test with LEDs...fresh blood mixed with fresh blood....what nutes are you using with LEDs ? I know about cal/mag importance when growing LED...also interested, is it better to grow in soil or hydro under LEDs, any big differents ?

Dr all that is simply preference... I prefer soil and I use Fox Farms for the most part... I also use a organic soil... PJ's organic soil mix... that I mix up myself and all I have to do is pretty much water throughout the grow... Just have to get off my butt and mix up more so for now I am using all Fox Farm soil and nutes.... I also have a trial line of Humboldt County's Own I plan to try soon and I have used Growology in the past but I like the Fox Farm line the best so far and I do also add cal/mag and molasses to waterings....:circle-of-love:

Fox farm, heard of it, but i am in Europe and this brand is not present here. I have tried in my past Advanced hydroponics of hollad, Plagron, Biobizz, Grotek, Advanced Nutrients, Biotabs, Hesi and now would startint with REMO and also thinking about Aptus and House n Garden. I have my own soil brand, manufacture is outsourced to Litvia, that is great source of ultra quallity peat (dont need to use perlite than). I am also addin Zeolite, nutritions is added by PG mix....

128 led's...... Are those going to be 5w ? How many fans And what will be the power draw and shape of panels....
High randy :circle-of-love: I am on the way back to our factory today, will check the Cree light status for sure. I will inform you guys when it is time for them to rock & roll , lol :cheesygrinsmiley:

I went back to the Fox Farms instead of the Humboldt County line (except for the Snow Storm Ultra :) ) I feel like Fox Farms did as good or better and it was easier. Making up a gal at a time of the Humboldt I feel like a mad scientist. 2.5 ml of this 5ml of that 30ml of something else. If I noticed a huge difference, no big deal. I didn't.

The FF is just easier. :peace:

Hmm...uptosumpn, you will need more Cree lights to fit in that area :cheesygrinsmiley:, lol :circle-of-love:

Who will be the tester? That is a question need me to answer for you guys within very short time. haha :cheesygrinsmiley:
Hmmm.....Sara , just curious. How many would I need for that size tent? I am gonna do 4 plants in that space,(1 1600 over each plant. Scroged, hell maybe 2 144x5's over each plant) <can save some $ this way. Decisions, decisions...!

circle-of-love:thanks for your help, Wahtoogee, yes it's easy to exchange fan,it's not so difficult for you guys to handle, lol :cheer:

Apeshot, Trust me... It is EZ Peazy! Few screws, cover comes off, fans are entirely accessible.. Very, very good chance something is just touching the blades that needs to be moved. Even if you have to replace a fan.. It is toooo EZ, anyone could do it. Much faster than any other way of having anything serviced...

Sara is giving you good info...

P.S. I had a little paper store tag from the chains I was using to hang mine go into one of the fan vents and cause a racket... Luckily I just had to pull it out. I'm also using the Mars 1200 (reflector 96*3 in veg)

thanks, supergroomer, :circle-of-love:
Agree 100%. All you need is a Philips head screwdriver. :peace:

I think a little of what ape is talking about is that it's a new fixture, he shouldn't have to repair it.....that and he's a little hesitant lol.

I understand what he's saying. I received my two 144x5's today, but only got to open one. The one I opened has three reflectors hanging down because some of the plastic friction studs came out. Not a good start.

I'm more than handy enough to fix it, it's the fact that it was designed poorly (plastic stud in high temp/humidity area?) and assembled the same that has me feeling like we shouldn't have to repair something brand new out of the box.

I've bought, installed and unloaded off a trucks a few millions of dollars worth of fixtures over the years as an electrician/PM, and I can spot issues immediately.

I'm still hoping for the results I keep reading and hearing about. But can't help but feel that this would be more of a come back victory :/

by the way, i believe DrVoo will get the useful information from you, :circle-of-love:you are always kind and helpful ,high-five:

Good morning Sara, I have a question regarding the reflector units. After a lot of research I understood that the Mars 2s with 5W are recommended for large rooms and the reflectors with 3W are recommended for tent grows as they run cooler . Will this still be the case after the reflectors are upgraded to 5W or will they then run as hot? What's actually the difference between Mars 2 and reflector when they're both 5W?

Thank you for posting this - finally someone is understanding what I'm getting at. It's the principle of having paid for something that develops a problem 3 days after setting it up out of the box then being told that I need to replace parts or at least start pulling electrical items apart (for which I have no qualification or inclination). Why would I do that, and risk making things worse and having a light that doesn't function at all, only to have the same response from Mars Hydro that I should just deal with it myself?

To buy something brand new which fails almost immediately then get told, and I quote:

use a better fan or buy one at local place

repair it by yourself

is simply not good enough.

And to be honest it is rather insulting that I should be told by Sara, who represents Mars Hydro, that the problem lies with me:

"don't like the noise, you can use a same size pc fan to replace it"

After I already stated numerous times that the noise wasn't there at first and has developed since I hung the light, and it's not a case of me "not liking" the noise, but that the noise indicates a fault which may or may not impact on the life of the light. Not to mention the fact that the noise makes growing completely indiscreet.

These are all facts and quoted responses that I received when posting about this problem I am having with my Mars Hydro light.

Surely I can't be the only one that feels this is unacceptable, and getting told that I am taking a gamble and not paying as much for a Mars Hydro light as a Black Dog, Apache Tech etc doesn't mitigate the fact that I paid over AU$500 for a product which has developed a problem that I'm now being told to deal with myself.
