Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Thanks! I look forward to reviewing it.

Are we in the reviewing club together this time around growwithme? I love that mars picks users from the forum to test their products and provide feedback. It seriously is a top notch thing to do and such a promotional way to attract customers. I'll be sure to share my honest opinion of it in every aspect. Hopefully we have similar reviews and it's a solid product. Either way I'm sure glad mars picks testers and values their opinion.

I constantly brag about how great older mars 300's are for the price they sell at. There's absolutely no smarter investment in supplemental lighting for corners of tents or if you just need a boost in coverage anywhere. Or if you need a good veg light. They do great for that too. There's no comparable product at $60 for 140 Watts of LED. None. No where. Ever. Never will be. Ever. Buy them.

Yeah nothing like that is really advertised like that out here just cheap plastic baggies are the common thing out here. Glad yall came out with them company wise and it should help you increase profit definitely. I never would have thought of obtaining something like that beforehand as I never really knew about it. Like a kid with candy or a new game lol.

:thanks: We have sent small quantity of these bags to Germany warehouse. They will be in the market soon.

I agree. I find Mars Hydro has a top notch marketing team and it's good they turn to the community. We ask and they listen. that's why Mars has been around for so long. You and i can both agree the older gen lights are excellent and with many superseding the life expectancy such as in my case. I'm proud of my LED's and i support and vouch for Mars Products any chance i get. great bud pic my friend! cheers!

My mars 300's (all 3 of them lucifer86 on here has one of them) they all still work. Over 2 years now and every diode is on. They have never shut off and have been constantly on 12/12 or 18/6 for over 700 days and then some. Non stop use. No diodes are out. Nothing. Lol so when I hear people complain. It really tells me it was accidental and most likely a shipping mishap or something. Because I'm 3 for 3 and I burn them non stop and they never failed. More expensive lights with bigger warranties and higher claims have failed though. So yeah. I'm for mars all the way. I'm currently trying new technology but I will never get rid of my mars lights. When one burns out I will buy another.

Thanks for your sincere review Rooster, your true feedback helps us produce products that can meet customers requirements. It is very important for us to survive in the competitive market. :circle-of-love:

I'm not German . but alas it's fine as I was very generously selected to try one out and give my opinion on it over at GC. Should already be in the mail on the way and I'm definitely excited to share my thoughts on it when I receive it. Ill probably end up talking a couple family members/friends into buying some especially if you do actually design a bag that's around half a gallon or so that away you can stash an entire ounce or so when buying weed and transporting it home. But like I said I grow so I prefer the smaller bags myself for transporting smaller amounts to share and match with friends. My names generic(and some numbers that I can't remember) on GC.

These bags keeps cannabis odors in. Perfect for Protecting your goods while traveling on the road or within the privacy of your home. :cheer:
Hi Sara First off I love Mars Hydro, I have a Mars 2-900 and it performs so well hoping to do my first journal very soon! Do you have a link for the bags for purchase?

Have been putting together some of my pro-gear on my rig. Am planning to do a timelapse from clone to harvest. Just like those fancy clips you see on National Geographic. I have some really cool ideas. Will make some really nice video's

Here's the current rig setup. As you can see, it's not exactly rocket science.

The battery plate which holds a can power your entire rig. Also have usb contact. And a bunch of dummy batteries for misc geat.

The other side of the battery plate. This plate can also charge the battery - use normal laptop charger

The focus and zoom motors attached to the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM zoom lense. My favorite allround-lense. Ridiculous expensive, but extremely good.

A couple of high quality microphones (both dynamic and condenser) with the classic dead cats for windshield, the eyepiece for my also ridiculously expensive Zaguto viewfinder, a bunch of Canon 5d Mark III batteries

And check this battery. Gigantic and super heavy. Great counterweight and will last days in the field while running all your equipment. Have a spare one of those batteries as well. So cam stay in the field for a long time.

Been shooting music video's mostly during my career, but also worked a little bit with film. Produced a lot of bands and their albums as well. I am planning to get really good at doing cannabis timelapses this year. That's the goas. And hopefully to make some commercials

I'm really looking forward to seeing that sounds really cool!

I'm a professional music producer and have spend most of my life in studio recording bands - and my own bands. I also have worked a lot with video, espcecially music video's. After I moved, the first thing I put up was the growing gear, the camera gear came up not long ago and the next thing to unpack is the recording studio

Could you explain a bit more dagger.
Yea your growing inside brother . The vines growing out under those big ass leaves need to grow . The vines grow out from the spots where your leaves are. With the leaves there they will not grow out only so far and will be hidden from light. Those limbs make your buds. Here look at this pic . U can see on the second pic where I took the leaves . Here's one I just did yesterday on the last pic .on that plant those are all limbs coming out and no main leaves till the very top
