Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Helloooo Sara. Got an order ready for a 3x3 tent and a Mars pro 2 1600. I plan to use the 1600 in my 4x4 bloom tent and put my old 192 reflector in the new Mars 3x3 tent for veg, sound like a good idea? I also will use my 96 reflector for my clones. Any discount code you could PM me please??? My reflectors are 3 years old with no problems FYI (knock on wood). Thanks for the good products!

Off topic because it is not Mars Hydro but I did not know where else to put this.

I read on here that it would be ideal to put a 600 watt Led light instead of a 1000 watt HPS in a 4x4 tent.

So I have been surfing the web for lights and have found many different models on different prices (from 100 dollars to 600.) I jut don´t understand the price difference, these are similar lights right?

This one costs cirka 100 dollars - 600W-Double-Chip

But the question is is it good enough? Anyone on here know? Thanks

The cheapest brands often lie a lot on how many watts they give. I would stay away from those lamps

The only light I've bought is a mass hydro. They doing good in veg and I've seen plenty of pics of bud. But it's all bout what u got to spend. Mars has OK prices though I spent under 400 for two decent lights

The Mars II 1200 gives 600 watts if I remember correctly.

The thing I wonder is which would perform the best? A Mars II 1200 (600 watt) or a Mars Pro II 160 (400 watt)
I know the pro-series are much more efficient, but how much?

It's a little bit silly to only use watts when talking about LED due to all these different technologies. I am pretty sure a Mars pro II 400 watt would outperform a cheap nobrand 600 watt light.

It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend. I heard fantastic things about the perfect sun series for example

Sara,
I have 2 reflectors of yours, a 96X5 and a 192X5. This morning 1/2 of the Growth lights are out on the 96X5 and there are 4 plants under it.. Not good timing!!! What is your warranty policy for this? What can I do? Can you send whatever parts need to be replaced?
It has now been over 48 hours and absolutely no help at all.... Nothing.

damn this LED light search is confusing me, so many different types and like some have said some can not be trusted to work so I think I will go for a 1000w HPS instead, anyway thanks for your help

I personally would stay away from crazy unheard of brands, lots of fire horror stories. I would stick to known brands and you want something with a 600+ draw power not named 600w. Like the 1200w or the pro320 I'd go for a 1600w or 4 of the 400w series 2 each covers a 2x2 great and the draw wattage is 180ish watts each

What email address did you send too? You could try to send an email directly to one of them their emails are on their contact page. It is the holiday so response times might be a bit slower.
49 hours and I got a reply.
FYI, I had sent email to service, sales, Lucy, Sara, also got on every F.B. page I could find them on, a couple of Instagram accounts... pretty well asked from help from anyone connected with them I could find.

So I did the test they requested, and it sounds like power supply to me but I am waiting to hear from them again.

Sorry bro if I was you I'd fix it myself it sounds like a power supply . Your not helpless fix the shit your a man!!!
