Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

sorry sara, I got nothing left for that tent. it went from a strong beginning to pointless for me.

I am someone who is considering the move to cloning plants, and what I saw originally was almost right for it.

second tent to do one light cycle makes no sense. now you need to run 2 lights or more to do one job. I might as well just order another 4x8 and do like T.S. said and put a rack in it myself.

a tool bag on a tent is just fluff. a sales pitch to someone who doesn't know any better.

tell ya what, you send me the first prototype as is, and i'll give it a good working over. lol

We would like to gather different opinions and ideas, then our team can make it better.:Namaste:

Would the Reflector192 be more effective than 2 Mars600s in a 3x3x6 tent?

Usually we recommend hanging distance from canopy:
germination 24-30inches above the plants
veg:18-24 inches above the plants
flower:12-18 inches above the plants
Our recommendation is just for you reference ,you need to adjust it to a better distance according to their react.:high-five:
Reflector192 and Mars600::Namaste:
1 Reflector192 is with switches, you can control spectrum settings between Growth / Bloom Mode.:thumb:
2 The design is different:Mars 600 uses glass cover ,which will reduce some light. However, Reflector192 use reflection board ,which will reflect maximum light back to the plants compared to Mars600
3 The coverage is different.
4 Reflector192 series with IR diodes,IR promote cell division,helps germination,leaf building and flowering,which Mars 600 not have.
You will like Reflector 192 over Mars600.:high-five:

Hi Sara,
Are you planning to stock Mars pro Epistar 320 (Remote one) at your canadian warehouse anytime soon? Or would there be a way to take arrangements to have one shipped to this local warehouse so i can purchase it?

Thank you very much

Frank

The vents(?) on the bottom... Is there a way to add some kind of insect/dust/debris screen? I would not be adverse to seeing some kind of semi-rigid (plastic?) device that was attached with a border of velcro. Or is such a thing already present in your tents?

:circle-of-love:Reflector 192 with better built-up than Mars600,and Reflector192 coverag is better for your tent.1PC Reflector192 coverage is 4'x4' is a square,2PCS Mars600 coverage is 2.5'x4' is a rectangle.:high-five:

Hi Frank,it's nice to see you here again.:welcome:
May i know why you like Mars pro Epistar more than Mars pro II?
:Namaste:We usually recommend our customer go with Mars pro II instead of Mars pro.:Namaste:The system for the remote is complicated.:Namaste:When the system has problem, grower need to send the light back to us to repair it.It will waste time for growers.:Namaste:
We will have Mars pro II Epistar 320 at our Canada warehouse around August 10th.:high-five:For Mars pro Epistar 320,the one with remote,we can only send from China to you.:Namaste:
You can consider our Mars pro II 320,it will arrive Canada soon, and the the growing result is as same as Mars pro.And it's easier to use it.:high-five:

:high-five:Our friend here recommended Toll Delivery, how do you think? :welcome:
Toll is usually more expensive and not too much better as a delivery company. We use them where I work cause they have better tracking than Aus Post but service is about the same.
Toll would be fine as long as the cost isn't raised as a result

Yeah, the bottom vent is with screen.I think we need add observation window at the middle of the door? Do you think it will be necessary?
And i think you like our first design more than the second one, right? Except the mobile Grid platform for the second design.:high-five:I like the mobile grid platform idea.:bravo:

Yeah,we had used TOLL delivery for a long time before, but they also offer careless deliver,,when our customer received the light,it had been damaged.:Namaste:
Then we changed to AU post, but now the same things happen.:Namaste:So we need to find another delivery company.
Except these two delivery company, can you recommend some other companywhich you think it's safe delivery to us? :welcome:

It does state on your website that the pro series must all be shipped from China :reading420magazine:

I find them all to be the same. Courier drivers are not the highest grade of worker and most are on minimum wage, so they dont care. The only skill they require is a drivers license which is very easy to get here so I don't think you'll find a company different from Toll or Aus post. It seems there is no way to avoid crappy couriers

:circle-of-love:Hi Pat999,how are you today?:Namaste:
Yeah,Mars Pro series need to ship from China, but Mars pro II series will have stock at our international warehouse very soon.:high-five:
Our Mars pro II Epistar 320 have 20pcs arrived USA warehouse last weekend,we put it on sale only one day,10pcs left now.:bravo: And our Mars pro II Epistar 160 will arrive at USA warehouse at the beginning of next month.:cheertwo:

I agree with you.:high-five:And i can unserstand why they offer careless delivery, those delivery staffs work very hard, and they need deliver many packages everyday. They need make sure most of their clients receive the package on time, they need run fast, and i know our goods are heavy. So we even can not totally blame them for this. They got their jobs to do,and they need deliver fast.:high-five:
But we need safe and fast deliver,i guess it's hard to get both of them at Australia.:Namaste:

:circle-of-love: I understand that most of you guys would like the first design of the tent, but also there are some good points of the second design.:high-five: So i think we can make a combine from this two design:
1 We need add a divided wall between the main space and the seedling/VEG space, but do not need to make them totally separated as two single tents.
2 we can install the tool bag outside of the tent.
3 The front door can be closer to the floor.
4 The vent at the bottom of the tent should has screen with it to prevent insects/dust.
5 The movable grid platform for the seedling/VEG area.
:circle-of-love:If i am not right, please feel free to ask me here,:Namaste:or you can add more informations. And then i will explain it clearly to our engineer again this time.Any ideas are warmly welcomed.:welcome::high-five:

:high-five:yeah,but other place is better.Australia got worse.:Namaste:

Yeah, the bottom vent is with screen.I think we need add observation window at the middle of the door? Do you think it will be necessary?

I do not feel that an observation window is necessary - but it might be appreciated if it saves wear and tear on the door's zipper. Myself, I do not have a need to stare at my plants. I have been known to do so, lol, but generally had the door open so that I could smell/touch them at the same time that I was looking at them.

And i think you like our first design more than the second one, right?

To me, the first design just looks like a rectangular tent that someone has placed a shelving unit in one side of. The second design seems to be - functionally - two environmentally separate spaces. If that is the case, then my vote is for the second design.
