Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

so you like them to be two single tents?:Namaste:
I do not feel that an observation window is necessary - but it might be appreciated if it saves wear and tear on the door's zipper. Myself, I do not have a need to stare at my plants. I have been known to do so, lol, but generally had the door open so that I could smell/touch them at the same time that I was looking at them.

To me, the first design just looks like a rectangular tent that someone has placed a shelving unit in one side of. The second design seems to be - functionally - two environmentally separate spaces. If that is the case, then my vote is for the second design.

Well, functionally two separate tents. That is to say, the light/air from one tent should not be intrusive into the other space. Whether that is best done by creating two actual separate tents - like two structures, side by side - or like two (separate) rooms within one building would be a question for you and your engineer. I would have no problem with the "two separate rooms in one building (tent)" setup. But I do not know if this would create issues with assembly/set up of the thing or not.

I do not wish to post a link to a different business' product here, I will send you a PM. That will give you an idea of what I think of when I imagine a "tent of two spaces."

:thanks:I got your PM.Well, our engineer thought that the two flowering and seedlinf/VEG chamber are separated in one building, they don't share light or exhaust system together, almost everything is independent.:high-five:So they got the idea that why not build them independent by itself? It will enable grower put these two tents anywhere they can fit them in.:high-five:
But most of growers like them to be in one building.:Namaste:

Just popping my head in to see what's new. As for the vents being rigid with the constant movement of the tent walls and the vent being rigid (like a flange port) will actually wear out the Mylar/plastic walls. You could always have the vents double layered with something like the beast defender filters for extraction fans which could be easily sowed into the tent wall and still would leave it flexible and would block the light, insects and a bit of moisture. If the dividing walls was attached with say a zipper and the covered in velcro so it could be removed if needed would be a cool little addition but again there's always a problem... rh% for example you'd want the veg side higher than the flower side and with the zipper/velcro setup some of the higher rh% from the veg would be sucked threw the wall giving that side of the flower part a slightly higher rh% but that shouldn't be a big problem if you have the air constantly moving a few points is nothing really.

Hope everyone's week is starting off well :Namaste:
Oh and my little ones are starting to flower under the mars 400w it's crowded in there :rofl:

Hi Sara,

I was looking forward to get Pro version to replace my current light because they'd be an upgrade. I find the programmable onset feature really interesting not that much to the fact that its less brutal and more gradual to the plants but more for the impact it'd have on the way I use electricity. The gradual onset wont induce a power consumption spike and that is why I wanted to replace my 3 mars 1200 with the pro ones...

I already talked with Sean who really tried to push the switchable ones and I thought this was a way to lower current stocks which is normal for a business but If they are not as reliable as they should be well I might just wait to actually need a light...

Thank you very much for your time

Frank

To you my dear Pat999,
Well if I'm asking Sara for a way to get around this "ship from china only" story its probably because I already read the website and I am trying to get around this limitation!!?!

:bravo:

If people were the way they are on forums in real life we'd have a bunch of wierdo's walking around and slapping people behind the head without even knowing why they are doing it. They just NEED to do it... It's sad.

It does state on your website that the pro series must all be shipped from China :reading420magazine:

Our quantity for Mars Pro II series is limited, many customer is placing pre-order before it arrive.
We recommend you Mars Pro II series instead of Mars Pro series,it's not because we want to lower the stock,it's just because Mars Pro series is with computer system, when the smart-system has probelm, customer must send the light back to us to repair,it's not convenient for grower. Our customers who bought this light before, and they changed it into Mars Pro II.:high-five:
You can buy Mars Pro II 320,we can send it from China to you.I just need to tell our customer clear about this before they buy it.:high-five:

Mars pro only can ship from China , because this is our new model.
You can place order, and we can ship it from China to you, but like I said,Mars pro smart-system is complicated, if anything happen, you need to send it back to us. Even Mars Pro is expensive than Mars pro II,We do not want to hide anything to our customer before they buy it. That's why my we highly recommend you go with Mars pro II over Mars Pro.
I will check with my colleague who is in charge of shipping that how long we need to send the Mars Pro Epistar320 to you.

funny thing is, I do that in real life. lol.

I am meaner in real life than I am on forums, where I realllllllly try hard to bite my tongue. some days It is very hard.

as a side note for you frank, I import stuff from china sometimes. the shipping and the duties are not that bad. if I were you, looking to get 3 of the lights, I would get them all at once to reduce the duties. shipping may be pretty high being a heavy object though.

dhl does pretty fast service from there. and they give you a duty charge email early which you can pay with c/c online to speed up the whole process. just be wise to scams. ensure that you are on dhl's website before hitting pay. there is a dhl duty scam out there.
