I am using an Oil Filled Radiator Heater on wheels, I bought like at Walmart.
It has digital display for time and temp settings.
I set the temp to start heating at 70%. So when it does go off the oil inside is still hot and keeps the room warmer longer.
I would try to stay in the 70s. I know low temps during flower can bring out some colors though. My last grow I had same problem with off temps and they started going purp

Yeah I'm trying it is depending on the night some nights it stays like 71 Then like last night 61. I am still in veg for about 22-3 more weeks. I read that white widow is on strain that can grow good in cold as low as 50 just never know though if what your reading is true or tested
Cool I am glad I am not the only one to do that. LOL.
I would rather have my Grow Room than unlimited data access.

I think it's OK to drop that low on ocassion. Have to remember this litteraly is a weed and fall tempetures get much colder than that. It could effect yields or stunt growth. But won't kill her off. Your safe. I'm no pro but I have a few grows under my belt and all during winter months I've ran into this too.

This is my first winter grow. I am a little nervous. Expecially because I just invested about 650 In led lights that run like 15 degrees cooler. I have to open my tent to warm it up inside lol

I was using a 400 Was ss MH/HPS and it got hot I was always fighting to stay at 83-86 so that's one reason I came to the Mars family. The other is I have heard really great things from 100 of people that Mars leds are really great product and wanted to be apart of the led club lol

I started my research a few weeks ago into LEDs. I've even made some of my own small watage pannels. And Mary's hydro just stuck out as the best bang for the buck. No its not made in the USA but they seam solid. And we even have a mars rep on the forum. I like what I've been seeing. I just have to decide on my flower light now. In the 2x2. The mars 2 400 or 2 of the older 60x5 watts. I think the 700 will be a waist of energy in my 2x2 since its at about 80 watts a square foot. But I've never used LEDs. So I'm so confused. Without you guys I'd just stick with cfl.

I have a 90cm x60x90 grow tent and am looking to upgrade from my cfl setup.
I've seen the 300w led, will this be a suitable fit for my tent? Only growing two plants at a time, would be nice to do 4 if I could. What do we think?

I have the Mars ll 1200 in a 3.3x3.3 tent I'm way over 50 watt a square foot. I personally think the 700 would be awesome in a 2x2 the 60x5 300 does not have IR so flower I don't think will be the best where the Mars ll 400 has the IR which is really good for flower. From what I have been told.

Mars II 700 watt. And you have the room for 4 trained plants. I'll be doing mine in a 60cm x60cm you could even benifit from the older 60x5 Mara hydro's. 66$ on eBay. Use 2 not one. You want between 30 and 50 watts of real power per square foot. And LEDs change thier lighting area with height. You need a real 30p watts of current draw to get best results in your tent. Just my opinion I'm new to the led game too
