Mars Hydro Grow Journal TS 3000: Now Growing Original Genetics White Widows, Purple Skunk Mass x Grape Krush Clones & CBD Autos

Hey All,

Back to taking some pics.

Well my phosphorous issue isnt over yet. I thought it was. After feeding my plants last week it halted the further affliction to the leaves. I had no new damaged leaves. I was thrilled.

Then the day before yesterday I watered them rainwater again but without nutes. I checked on them ladt night before bed and was dismayed to find additional damaged leaves.

My desire is to pinch the dying seeds off the plants but I havent done so yet so that I could take the following photos.

This is my Grape Krush #1.

There you have it.

I fed them this morning and also gave a shot of Grow into their nutes for the extra phosphorous. Hope it helps. To me, besides the obvious deficiency, they look pretty good. Strong, getting bigger each day, etc. Vibrant plants.

But your thoughts would be greatly appreciated! As always.

And here's a candid shot of Greta after she came in just now. It is raining and she obviously also went for a swim in the slough. This dog LOVES water. She even loves to play with the water coming out of the garden hose. She is insatiable!

So those are all the pics I have fir you today. Hope you've enjoyed this little room through my indoor garden this fine rainy morn.

All my best,
~Magnus

Ok, strange it wants feeding that often.
Yes. I find it strange, too. I didnt expect these new damaged leaves at all.

Thanks for chiming in, Penny.

The one. In the clay pots look like there ready for up potting. You will be getting a pH meter soon?
Yes, they are definitely ready for up potting. I'll be buying some more large pots on first or after but cannot do it before. I'll be buying a new pH meter then, too.

I realize I am deficient in a lot of things I need.

Sure am coveting some Geopots right about now...

:yahoo: :rofl::rofl::rofl::yahoo:

All my best,

Is it spreading?
It hasn't spread any since this morning I don't think. But I'm not sure I would detect any difference over that timeframe.

Good Morning, Two Hills, Alberta! I cant wait to move from your environs!

But with that said, I'm back with pics this morning.

I pinched off almost all of the leaves affected by the phosphorous deficiency. I did this so I could see if the deficiency was spreading. Looking at them closely this morning I don't think it is spreading any and for that I am grateful.

On the home front...I have now found the money to get movers to pack for me and move me. I'm trying to pack as much as I can, leaving only what I absolutely need for living for the next two months. It's actually rather difficult to foresee what things you will need to access over that timeframe.

Disability will be covering my move primarily because it is the doctor mow insisting I move. She wants me to be in a town setting where there are ambulances closely and a hospital near me within minutes of calling. That's why the doctor wants me living in town. And since I have to move for medical reasons, Govt Disability will help me with moving.

I am also getting one of those Lifeline pendants. The one that detects if you fall. Once you fall, the Lifeline people contact you through the pendant. If you dont respond within 30 seconds they then send an ambulance out to you right away. So with this comes some peace of mind because I e have been falling a lot in the middle of the night while I've been sleepwalking. I have a terrible problem with sleepwalking, actually.

So on to the plant pics.

All the PSM x GK and the GK need both watering this morning and to be up potted. Today or tomorrow I will be buying what I need to up pot them so that will get done soon enough.

But other than that they are looking good this morning, except for some leftover damage from the deficiency. Nothing the plant cannot recover from.

The clones are doing well. I look forward to rooting some clones of my own soon enough.

So there you have it. My inside plants on this grow. Its pissing rain yet again or I'd show you my pathetic little autos. Sad. Just sad.

But oh well. Them's the travails of a farmer!

All my best,
~Magnus

How's things going Magnus
I drafted up a new entry to this journal early this morning but suddenly my phone glitched and I lost the whole post before I even had a chance to post it. I'm out in Vegreville doing a bunch of shit but will redo that post later.

I need some advice on yellowing leaves. I think it might be nitrogen deficiency but I'm no expert at diagnosing these things so I really could use some advice as to what it is and what to do about it.

All my best,
~Magnus

Good morning, Vietnam!

(Wasnt that just an incredible film?)

I'm back. With pics. And a lot of extra verbiage, too.

All is well. My plants are, for the most part, doing well except I think I have a nitrogen deficiency happening here, showing on a couple of plants.

I am hoping someone can help me determine if this is a nitrogen deficiency or what. If it is, then this will be the first time I have diagnosed a nute problem and been correct.

But I need to know what might be causing this and how, using stuff I've got, can I correct it. I'm using Remo nutes but I think with an iron deficiency I could either add a bit of alfalfa pellets to the topsoil or add extra nutes of some kind. I used to have a bottle of straight nitrogen but I'm out right now.

I've heard that I can mix some coffee or coffee grounds into their feeding and that would solve the problem, too, but I think feeding them extra nutes might be a quicker solution.

If it's a pH problem then there is very little I can do until my pH pen arrives sometime next week or so. I ordered a new one from Amazon.

And I bought the pots to up pot them, the largest pots available for what I could afford. I think they'll do, though. I also picked up some binder clips and some pipe cleaners for some last training. I'll do that once I report them- which I am going to try to find the time to do today.

So let's look at some pics, shall we?

Oh, and it is feeding day so some are looking a bit sluggish.

There you have it, my indoor plants. They are doing pretty good, I think, except for this yellowing of the lower leaves. I'd like to get that worked out.

The GK and PSM x GK are 52 days old today - obviously nowhere near going into flower. But I suppose you put them into flower around 8 weeks of age, is that right? I know it depends on what you want so you can put them into flower earlier, but that is not my intention. But with the size of them now... they've got a long way to grow before I should be putting them into flower. I sure am looking forward to that day. Mind you, I'm looking forward to harvest day. But I'm mostly looking forward to the day they are done curing... hahaha! Of course I am!

Funny thing, the clones are showing absolutely no signs of a nitrogen deficiency. Could it be that the other plants just require more nitrogen than the clones and other strains? Otherwise, I just dont understand why this should be happening this way.

So I will definitely be up potting today. I think I find that transplanting is easier when the soil is dry rather than wet. It sticks together better that way. Or it seems that way to me. Is this correct?

So I'll sign off now and get to work drinking my morning coffee. All my best to all of you, and thanks in advance for the help. Mucho appreciado!

And Happy 4th to all my friends in the States who I miss so much, and to all of you I might barely know.

All my best,
~Magnus

The ones that appear to be having the most problems are the ones in the smaller pots. I think you are rootbound and need to get into bigger containers.
Thanks for chiming in, Emilya. I live in a very isolated part of Alberta and am unable to get to town very often. I've needed to report these for about 2 weeks already but have been unable until today because I was out of soil and I had no more big pots. But today I will be repotting these six plants right away.

I had no idea that being rootbound could cause this kind of yellowing. Learn something new every day.

Thanks again.

All my best,
~Magnus
