Well, it's now day 14 into flower. Was gonna wait until day 21 for their final defol, but it looked like they could use a haircut now (especially the mama), so I went ahead with it today.

So I got a little bit drunk and decided to open up the girls a bit to allow more light penetration. Used a bit of training wire to tie them back. Was this a bad idea? Sometimes I need to just leave things as they are...

I think you took off too much - but she'll recover. I tend just to open the ladies up by removing the leaves shading the buds, and any lower leaves that are shaded.

Yeah. I have a tendency to overthink things. I'll just leave them be until it's time to harvest.

In my head I guess I was thinking that I want those popcorn buds to get bigger. I dunno. Like I said earlier, this first grow is not only to learn what to do but what NOT to do.
She'll recover. I've done the same thing in before.

Dude, I can't wait! So tired of this low quality dispensary crap. I mean, it'll get you high - REAL high. But it's just so damn dry and crumbly. And every strain tastes the same. I want that sticky icky! And yours... Dude, they look FANTASTIC!!!

Man nice read as I'm currently in week 5 of my first grow as I got some questions of my own answered here. Seems like your eager to perfect things like me which can come back to bite you in the you know what 
what a ball buster about the males though!. I'm about to flip soon so I'll be knowing soon what there sexs are as well. Fingers crossed, I'm going to have to check out your new journal!
