LMAO Cloning For Dummies

I am going to be terminating my Wonder Woman male plant tomorrow. Services at 10 am. Tea and brownies will be served.

As you may or may not know I am actively working at breeding seeds to become independent of the seed banks. If I were more experienced I would relocate the male (if I had room to do so and it wasn't in a ceramic 15 gallon pot) far away from my female plants. This is what I decided to do and why. The male is, for me, pretty darn big at almost 8ft tall. And he is producing a LOT of pollen sacks and sites for more to start so he's going to be fully loaded and dangerous. I am not wanting accidental pollinations. I want to be able to harvest seeds and accurately list the genetic history of the seed and it's strain. So the big Wonder Boy has to go. I made two clones from this plant about 6 weeks ago that are doing extremely well. My plan is to relocate the two clones to what I hope will be a safe place (a field 3 miles away) at a friend's property where I can check them regularly. I will collect pollen from these two male clones and brush it onto four different plants to create some seeds. The Wonder Woman strain, if you can ever get a female, is quite a good one. If I ever get a female it's definitely a strain I will be trying to make some feminized seeds with to store away.

Anyone else having any luck make seeds either regular or feminized?

Well got em all transplanted ...figure veg for couple months ...take some cuttings here and there...damn gonna have to build another room for clones lol

What is that pathetic, scrawny little excuse for a clone on the far left? I would have cropped that out of the photo!!!

I will bow my head at the time indicated. And offer up a blessing for the bud gods.
It sounds like you have it covered beez, just make sure to change your clothes and wash your hands after you handle the male before you go near your lady's. Great job ! It's going to be a little while before I can do seeds. Need to take clones and get setup for that. But right now I am to busy with other things. 2 weeks from now I will have time to get on that project.

Also got my lil intake fan in today....put it at the bottom and put some screen material on it to maybe keep from sucking in bugs...it's not the best but might help circulation ...

Thanx....doing all this on a budget 1 thing at a time...theres always bigger and better but once I get it all set up and see what works then I can improve but if it works then I can do all this a whole lot cheaper than most people

Same thing I was thinking an old cloth of some kind or t-shirt because it will expand along with the plant and allow the plant to stretch the fabric but not harm it in the process

It's not that it would cause a problem if you don't get your water Nature has ways of regulating pH plus what we are doing is just improving more perfect conditions than what Mother Nature has already provided this allows us to upgrade our cannabis to a higher THC or CBD

My autos are at 7 weeks, crop king lists the revolvers are a 7 weeker and the train wreck are 8 weekers. They are all cannibalizing their fan leaves at a very fast rate. My question is; should I just keep up with plain water for flushing or is there enough time to give them a bit of juice to slow down the fan leave yellowing? I know the breeder is always a little early on their finishing stats and I normally go with tricks but I have never grown autos and don't really know how fast they turn. Have a look at my tricks and let me know how long I may have before harvest. I thought I would try here first before I went to an auto thread.

You will save money mixing it by day because if you mix the whole gallon and pH it the next day you're just going to have to do the same thing so her time it's going to save you in the long run

Give them molasses honey for sugar water the carbohydrates in the sugar will give them energy and boost their leaves and sweet enough your buds at the same time boost your resin population I do this through the entire two weeks of Flushing

At what rate? Table spoon per gallon? For autos? Thanks again.

Hey folks, back to clones for a sec .
So I just did my first batch of clones, from 3 to-be-mothers. A few things I'm worried about..
1. I cut sorta willy nilly, not below or above a node specifically.. they'll still root yeah?
2. The cutting seem fairly loosely held in by the "RootIt!" cubes, did I not squeeze them tight enough or something?
C. My dome is pretty short, will leaves pressed against the dome be an issue?

I swear they where praying to the light this morning.. is that usual 4 days after cut?

One teaspoon for inside plants and one and a half teaspoons for outdoor plants per gallon for photos and autos they use the sugar in the same way
